Fans Refuse To Attend Keri Hilson's Show In Abuja?

When I heard about Keri Hilson arriving Abuja for the face of Sofa Lounge show, I was surprised because I felt there wasn't enough  hype and publicity. However thinking more about it, I pushed the thoughts aside, concluding that there might have been, but I missed it.
Unfortunately, people present at the show taking place at the  International Conference Center report that it was an outright flop scantily attended, and sent me pictures showing how empty the hall was.
See pictures after the cut.

Ordinary ticket for the show cost N7500, VIP N20,000, VVIP N500,000. I would have loved to be there sha...scanty or not, I like "Miss Keri Baby"...*singing*...lool!

PHOTO: Family Gives Six-Month-Old Girl A Snake To Play With Because They Are Too Poor To Buy Toys For Her

Her family cannot afford to buy her toys so this this six-month-old plays with snakes instead.
Sidhi Siddharth Sinune crawls behind the python and shrieks in delight as it weaves through her tiny legs.
While her parents are away working in the fields in a rural Indian village in Maharashtra, the baby girl pats the reptile and even playfully bites its tail.
The non-venomous snake could easily squeeze Sidhi to death or swallow her whole.
But her father, Siddharth Sinune, said he cannot afford to buy her toys – instead bringing home his prey from his job as a snake catcher.
Before putting them back in the forests, he keeps them at home for his only daughter’s amusement.
Siddharth said: ‘Sidhi has an unusual bonding with the snakes and surprisingly they too like to play with her.
‘Being a poor farmer, I can’t buy her costly toys but I can get her snakes to play with.

Sodom And Gomorrah: 13 School Girls Pregnant, 50% Students Infected With Virus

photo
Lifestyle at the school has turned out to be even worse than that of Sodom and Gomorrah. It has also emerged that 13 girls are currently pregnant.
Reports also claim that over half of students at this school are living with the virus that is transmitted through sex. The school that has grabbed the frightening headlines happens to be How Mine Secondary School.

Sources who spoke to our news crew said the pregnant girls are in Forms One to Three at the school. Sources further alleged that most of the girls have been impregnated by the Mine workers. A reliable source who works at How Mine claims that their fellow workmates are madly in love with young school girls.

Parents of the pupils who learn at the school are said to have become suspicious after noticing that their children are always putting on jerseys despite the warm weather that is currently prevailing. The parents reportedly requested for a meeting at the school where they agreed that the students should be taken for blood tests.

This publication heard that on 19 October all the girls at the school got tested and that is when all hell broke loose! The Chairman of the School Development Committee (SDC), Mr Momore Makado confirmed the reports.

"We had a meeting with the parents last month where we deliberated on pregnant girls at the school. We agreed that the girls should be tested so that we could ascertain whether they are not ill or pregnant. We got shocked upon realising that 13 girls were pregnant. The pregnant girls are in Form One to Three," said the SDC chairman.

He added: "What baffles the most is that there are parents who do not see value in education. We heard that some of the girls are being forced to get married by their parents."

Our News Crew further heard that there is a mine worker (name withheld) who allegedly impregnated a Form 2 girl. A How Mine compound resident who only identified himself as Baba Farai said what is taking place at How Mine is so embarrassing.

"This area has corrupted the new generation. At any given time elderly men will be getting intimate with young girls. Age is no longer a factor to consider. You will find a married man falling in love with a school girl and no one will ever be bothered. Even elderly women are not left out. You will find these women convincing young boys to have sex with them, just for the sake of having sex," said Baba Farai.

Another woman who spoke to our news crew on condition of anonymity said the rapid spreading of the virus is caused by not giving school children condoms. "It's high time they (authorities) offer people condoms. Even school children should also be given these condoms so that they don't fall pregnant," she said.

When reached for comment, the Headmaster of How Mine Secondary School said he doesn't know anything about these claims since he has been at the school for less than three months. "I'm still new here. I joined this school this term so I don't know much about what you are saying," said Headmaster Nkosikazi Siziba.

Employer On The Run After Raping His 13-Year-Old Employee Several Times

photo
A ruthless employer took advantage of a 13-year-old girl's vulnerability and raped her several times in the absence of his wife.

Manicaland provincial spokesperson, Inspector Enoch Chishiri, confirmed the rape and said the suspect only identified as Chimupiri was still at large.

"In August, the juvenile was employed by Chimupiri's wife. She took the juvenile to her rural home near Charter where she stayed with her husband and two children. Chimupiri's wife returned to her workplace leaving the juvenile and her husband at home. Chimupiri took advantage of the minor and raped her several times. He would threaten her not to tell anyone," said Insp Chishiri.

The mater only came to light on October 24, when the juvenile returned to her parents and started complaining of abdominal pains. She was rushed to Charter Clinic for treatment where she disclosed the rape to the nurse. The accused is still at large and anyone with information can contact their nearest police station.

Meanwhile, a 15-year-old teenager was raped last week after a male adult lied to her that he had secured a job for her at 22 Miles Business Centre. Insp Chishiri said Cleopas Matanga went to the teenager's homestead and informed her that he had secured a job for her at 22 Miles.

"At around 12-midday, while at 22 Miles Business Centre, Matanga told the girl that the owner of the undisclosed restaurant was at Bezel Bridge Business Centre and they should proceed and meet him. The two went to Bezel Bridge where on arrival, the teenager was left standing on the roadside with Matanga purporting to be looking for the owner of the restaurant.
"When he came back, he told her that the owner was at his house and he was taking her there. When they got to the house, Matanga unlocked the doors and asked the teenager to follow him, but she refused. He dragged her inside and raped her once," said Insp Chishiri. She escaped and went to Marange Police Station where she reported the matter. Matanga is still at large

Housewife: Husband Strips Me Naked, Ties Me Like Ram

photo
Mrs, Abosede Ademola pleaded with a Lagos Grade ‘A’ Customary Court, sitting in  Agege to dissolve her nine-year-old marriage on the grounds of being stripped naked by her husband, Azeez, who also tied her like a ram.
The 35-year-old woman, who resides at  7, Community Street, Adiyan, Lagos, pleaded that the court grants her custody of the children.
She alleged that her husband frequently flogged her mercilessly at the slight excuse and did not respect her family. "My husband drinks to stupor,  moves with bad company, leaves home in the morning and comes back late in the night.
"As if that was not enough, whenever he wanted to beat me, he would strip me naked and tie my hands like the Sallah ram to be slaughtered,” she said.
She also accused Azeez of infidelity, saying she wanted the custody of her children so that her suffering in his house would not be in vain. Azeez, a car dealer, however denied the allegations. According to him, Abosede failed to submit herself to him and would not take care of the children.
He alleged that his wife always went out whenever she liked and returned when she pleased, adding that his wife left the house in the morning on Sallah day without cooking, and he was the one that cooked for the children.
"My father died and my wife did not show any concern nor went to my family on condolence visit. She would not give me food or take care of the children. If I continue with her, I might kill her; so I want the court to dissolve the marriage,”he said.
The court president, Mr Emmanuel Shokunle, adjourned the case till November 19, for further hearing.

Nobody Had Any Baby For Me’ – 9ice Denies Abuja Lover And Babies

20 months after it was reported that an Abuja-based woman named Vicky had delivered a set of twins for 9ice, the Alapomeji boss has come out to deny the reports.
In an interview with Vanguard Newspaper, when questioned about his twins, he immediately denied it, clearly stating that the story ‘is not true’.
I wish the press would verify their stories about me before publishing them. Nobody had any baby for me. That story is not true and I want to tell you that they are making it up‘, he said.
In March 2011, it was widely reported that 9ice and his Abuja-based lover Vicky Godis had welcomed a set of twins.
It was also reported that this was the final straw that ended any possibility of 9ice and separated wifeToni Payne reconciling.
9ice also cleared the air on his relationship with Toni Payne. There had been rumours he bought her a house in Magodo, and worked on a reconciliation. The singer says the reports were false.
‘That story isn’t true. Tony Payne and I are still separated and not back together.  That is the fact!’, 9ice said.
He is set to release four new videos in December after shooting them in the UK.

Train strikes school bus in Egypt, 50 killed

People gather near a train, with bloodstains, after it crashed into a school bus at Manflot in the southern city of Assuit, 500 km (310 miles) south of Cairo, November 17, 2012. Forty-nine people, mostly children, were killed when the train slammed into the school bus as it crossed tracks in the city south of Cairo on Saturday, state media and officials said.

Fifty people, mostly children, were killed when a train slammed into a school bus as it crossed tracks in a city south of Cairo on Saturday, state media and officials said.
All but two of the dead were children, aged around four to eight, said a senior security official in Assiut, near the site. One woman and the bus driver also died, he added.
The bus was broken in half by the force of the crash. Blood was spattered on the front of the engine and school bags and text books, some bloodstained, were strewn around.
Witnesses said barriers at the rail crossing were open when the train hit the bus. Transport Minister Mohamed Rashad and the head of the railways authority resigned, and President Mohamed Mursi said those responsible would be held to account.
Egypt's roads and railways have a poor safety record and Egyptians have long complained that successive governments have failed to enforce even basic safeguards, leading to a string of deadly crashes.
State media reported that as well as 50 dead, 15 or more people were injured. A medical source said as many as 28 were injured, 27 of them children.
"They told us the barriers were open when the bus crossed the tracks and the train collided with it," said Mohamed Samir, a doctor at Assiut hospital where the injured were taken, citing witness accounts.
Assiut Governor Yahya Keshk also said the crossing was open. "The crossing worker was asleep. He has been detained," he told state television.
The doctor said the bodies of many of those killed were severely mutilated, illustrating the force of the crash, which took place in the city of Manfalut, near Assiut, about 300 km (190 miles) south of the capital.
"I saw the train collide with the bus and push it about 1 km (half a mile) along the track," said Ahmed Youssef, a driver.
Officials said the level of destruction and mutilation made it difficult to count and identify the bodies.
President Mursi ordered his ministers to offer support to the families of those killed, the official news agency said. Prime Minister Hisham Kandil ordered investigations into anyone responsible for the crash and travelled to the scene.
Victims' families protested at the crash site, the state news agency reported. Officials sought to reassure them the case would be investigated and they would receive help, it said.
Earlier this month, at least three Egyptians were killed and more than 30 injured in a train crash in Fayoum, another city south of Cairo. In July, 15 people were injured in Giza, close to the capital, when a train derailed.
Egypt's worst train disaster was in 2002 when a fire ripped through seven carriages of an overcrowded passenger train, killing at least 360 people.
Many more have been killed in rail accidents since then despite pledges from successive governments to improve safety. Accidents involving multiple deaths are also common on Egypt's poor road network.

Evil Minded Kidnapping Couple Nabbed In Lagos... How They Made Millions

A couple suspected to be serial kidnappers of international dimension has been nabbed by the men of Lagos State Police command. Mr. Nwangwu Emmanuel and his wife Beatricial Nwangwu were arrested recently by the operatives of the State Anti-Robbery Squad(SARS) after a long search.
The suspected evil couple according to police source, were arrested in Abuja where the husband was working as a driver to a retired military officer. Before their arrest, the couple had thrown several families into trauma, pains and tears by kidnapping their children and carried them across the border to Ghana where they demanded and received ransoms in millions of naira.
Before the police made what was been described as a major breakthrough in the quest to unravel the mystery behind several incidents of unreported cases of kidnapping in the state, the couple had earlier been declared wanted by the Interpol, Force CID, Abuja, Lagos State command, SARS, Zone 2 and Lagos.
Speaking on the arrest, the Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Umar Manko who described the couple as notorious noted that most of their victims were children of the families where the wife had served as housemaid. He explained that after kidnapping the children they would run to Ghana and start demanding for ransom running into several millions from their victims. “They would tell the victims to pay ransom to a bank account in Ghana and they would later instruct them to collect their children at a particular hotel in Ghana.”
CP Manko said some policemen in Ghana were dismissed from their job because they collected some illegal money from the couple. The police in Ghana later declared the couple wanted for using their country as a country of collecting ransom from victims of the kidnappers. The police in Ghana was also said to have frozen the account of the suspects Manko added that it was a female DPO who got the number of the suspects and that it was after that, that he tasked the SARS to go to Abuja and arrest the suspects.
The husband told his story to Crimewatch, “I am from Enugu State and I grew up in Ghana where I stayed for ten years. In 2008, I was employed by Mrs Folake Coker in Ikoyi Lagos and I was being paid the monthly salary of N25,000. One day I deceived one of the house maids to buy something for me pretending to be sick. Then I used the opportunity to kidnap the 2years old daughter of my boss. quickly took a cab to Mile 2 before taking a drop to Ghana.
“I later called my boss and she recognized my voice. I demanded a ransom of N22million. The money was paid to my bank account in Ghana. I dropped the daughter in one hotel in Ghana and told them to pick her up there. I used the money to buy cars which I was selling in Ghana.”

Nwangwu explained that in 2009 his wife was employed as housemaid to Mr Alfred Edozie and that after just one month, the wife kidnapped one of her boss’s daughter.
“My wife just called me one day that I should bring a taxi to the estate that she has kidnapped one of the daughters of her boss. Immediately we took the daughter and passed through Mile 2 and took a drop to Ghana. We called the family of the girls and we made a demand of N15million as ransom, but they paid N12M to my wife’s bank account in Ghana.

“We didn’t know that the Interpol were already monitoring us. When we went to withdraw the money the bank manager first paid her N6m and told her to come back the following day for the remaining ones. The Interpol officials from Ghana cornered my wife and told her that the Nigerian police would soon arrest her. My wife gave the police officer N6m and he took my wife to an hotel in Ghana and later told us to escape. The bank in Ghana closed our account, that was how we lost the N12m in Ghana,” he said.

Nwangwu said when they moved back to Nigeria his wife delivered and he began to search for a job. “Later I got a job in Abuja as a driver to a retired military officer in 2012. After I and my wife moved to Abuja. One day I just saw policemen who came and arrested me in the presence of my boss.”

His wife said it was easy for her to kidnap because she pretended to be a housemaid and when she is employed after some days or weeks she will kidnap the kids of her employer...
CP Manko said the investigation is still ongoing in the matter and that when it is concluded they will be taken to court.
