WeirdMc Interview With Mystreetzmedia

Weird MC (born Adesola Adesimbo Idowu) is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and producer. Known for her catchy English/Yoruba lyrics, androgynous appearance, and rumoured sexuality, Weird MC - also known as Shola Idowu and The Rappatainer - is one of Africa's token number of female rap artistes, and one of the few Nigerian women associated with Afrobeat.
Early life
Idowu, whose parents are from Ogun State, was born in England to conservative parents who did not encourage her to go into showbusiness, yet she was not discouraged. She had her secondary school education in Nigeria, where she made friends with four other girls, with whom she formed the hip-hop group Weirdos. Despite their popularity on the campus circuit, they failed to land a record deal, and soon disbanded.
Music career

Idowu gained admission into Ogun State University to study Law, but left a year later to focus on her music career. Influenced by Fela Kuti, Lauryn Hill, Da Roots, Miriam Makeba, Queen Latifah and Jimi Hendrix, Idowu travelled back to England where she competed in rap contests in London, including Club 291 contest, similar to America's Apollo, in which she came third. After working with music producer Kevin Best for two months, Idowu released the single Wanna Make You Jack/Let's Get Wet, which received positive reviews from music critics; it was also number one in the Choice FM charts. By now, Idowu had began to use the name by which she is now known - Weird MC, which was coined from the name of her former group

Even though the dunk contest was pretty lame this year, I really enjoyed this dunk. Especially because right after getting dunked over Diddy tweeted “White Men can Jump!”. Here’s the video of Budinger dunking over Diddy

Jennifer Lopez Laughing About Her Wardrobe Malfunction

“Nip slips??! HA! I laugh in the face of nip slips!”~Jennifer Lopez
No. Really. As SOON as everyone thought they miiiight have seen JLo’s nippy during the Oscars last night, they went nuts about the supposed wardrobe malfunction. There’s even a Twitter page dedicated to it: @JLosNipple. Baha!!! Too funny.
But according to mmm360, the singer/actress/dancer/whatever isn’t too stressed about the commotion surrounding her…reveal. In fact, Jennifer Lopez is laughing about her wardrobe malfunction, according to her personal stylist.
Rob Zangardi said Jen had a good chuckle when he told her about how people were freaking out over the nip slippage. He also explained that Lopez assured him that a nip slip wasn’t even possible because she was stuffed into that damn dress like a sausage. Won’t argue there.
His explanation for what we saw? A shadow.
Honestly, I didn’t even NOTICE anything! When I first saw a picture, I kept scrolling down in the article to see her ACTUAL boobie. I figured it was a “Check out the uncensored photo after the jump!” type of thing—but nothing! I didn’t see annnnything. What wardrobe malfunction is everyone talking about? Was her dress too tight? Yes. Too revealing? Yes. Not even remotely age appropriate? Probably.
Did one of her twins fall out? Don’t think so.

Trick Daddy Goin In On Plies & Rick Ross

3m360 Magazine caught up with Trick Daddy Dollars at the NBA All Star Festivities in Orlando this weekend for an interview and boy did he have some things to say about fellow Florida Rappers Plies & Rick Ross. See excerpts below.
On Rick Ross:
“Everybody’s doing music. They read my interview in OZONE or hear my interview on the radio and then they go from being a Trick Daddy fan to thinking they can be better than Trick. Think about someone who has a clean [criminal] record who graduated at the top of their class. They have a clean driving record and always say “yes ma’am” and “yes sir.” If he gets on a record and tells all these lies about robbing and killing and dope dealing and you fall for it, and later you find out [it was a lie], he should be punished for that. I never did music like that; that’s why my music is timeless. People don’t do that anymore in rap music, it’s all LaLaLand, so when the rainbow washes away it ain’t nothing but a sad story."
On Plies:
"Plies is a b*tch. Me and Plies’ problem started because I walked up on Plies [in Orlando at the Roxy] talking about he didn’t want me at his show, and I was only coming to support. Ever since then he has refused to even get on the phone like a man and talk to me about it. Anytime I walk by accidentally they start running. When I shot the [DJ Khaled] “Out Here Grindin’” video shoot in New York, Plies wouldn’t come because he didn’t know I was on the record. I just hope he understands he’s still a Trick Daddy fan. That “bruh bruh” sh*t, that’s some Miami sh*t. He just took it and ran with it. I know he’s still a Trick Daddy fan. Don’t let the animosity and envy that you have for the man interfere with the legacy. Some n*ggas just ain’t built for this."

Drake Speaks On Rappers Taking Shots At Him

Drake continues to not really care or respond to those rappers who have been taking subliminal or not-subliminal shots at him, including Pusha T, Common and Future. In the latest issue of VIBE he responds to all these guys, saying he has no problem with them. Read below.
“I’ve got no issues with him,” he says of Future, who was upset that Drake didn’t appear in his video, “Tony Montana.” “I’m happy I got on the song.” Pusha T, who once cryptically rhymed that, “the swag doesn’t match the sweaters,” gets off easy, too. “I’ve been really open about my love for the Clipse,” he says. “I don’t know, maybe that guy is bored.” Ludacris, who was accused of stealing Big Sean and Drake’s hashtag flow, also receives a halfhearted smack down, “That’s a case of someone trying to use my marketing money to get th

Woman Hires Hit Man To Kill A Random Person Wearing Fur

Animal rights activists are known for their unfailing endeavors aimed at ensuring that animals are not treated as property. Their efforts have gone on to save the lives of many animals around the world; however, for Meredith Lowell of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, raising awareness for the ethical treatment of animals involved a plan to hire a hit man through Facebook to kill a random person wearing fur.
According to CNN, 27-year-old Lowell created a fake Facebook account hoping to attract a hit man to agree to her request proposing that the hit man murder a random person wearing fur at a library nearby her home. Lowell’s main objective was to pass out pamphlets about animal cruelty following the crime.“I would like to create an online community on Facebook which would allow me to find someone who is willing to kill someone who is wearing fur toward the end of October 2011, or early November 2011, or possibly in January 2012, or February 2012, at the latest,” Lowell wrote on the social networking site.
The NY Daily News reported that Lowell’s fake Facebook was created under the name of Anne Lowery and offered a $830 to $850 reward for the completed job.
What’s more, Lowell began speaking with an undercover FBI employee who acted as a hit man interested in the job.
“You need to bring a gun that has a silencer on it and that can be easily concealed in your pants pocket or coat. … If you do not want to risk the possibility of getting caught with a gun before the job, bring a sharp knife that is (at least) 4 inches long; it should be sharp enough to stab someone and/or slit their throat to kill them. I want the person to be dead in less than 2 minutes,” Lowell wrote to the FBI agent in an email.
According to the Chicago Tribune, Lowell ended up offering the agent $100 to finish the job by October 2012.
3m360News reported that, according to a police affidavit, Lowell’s emails indicate her determination to leave her home because her family members eat meat and wear wool.

Ray J Peed On Kim Kardashian In A Sex Tape

HA! Get it? Because the only reason Kim Kardashian is famous is because Ray J peed on her in a sex tape that she sold herself because she’s an opportunistic cretin? Oh, I am good sometimes … anyway, Ray J is the latest celebrity who thinks that an ability to do something entirely removed from writing somehow means he can write, which means he’s going to (get a ghostwriter to) pen his autobiography in which he discusses how Kim loves the black dick and being a jealous harpy. The Huffington Post reports:

“[KK] let me know she wanted to get with me. She left her husband for me as soon as we started having sex.”

The R&B singer also reveals “KK’s” seduction secrets, like greeting him with hot towels and toothpaste on his toothbrush in the morning and providing sexy lingerie fashion shows at night. Ray J doesn’t hold back when it comes to writing about their sex life, either.

“We were like animals; sexually free to try anything, and we did. For years KK and I had a great sex life,” he writes. “There was more to our relationship, but the majority of it was about our wild and extreme sexual chemistry. She was a straight freak who was down to do whatever, whenever and that seriously hypnotized me.”

But Ray J said things took a turn for the worst with his former flame, when jealousy reared its ugly head. “She wanted to know where I was at all times,” he writes. “She literally thought I was cheating with every girl I ran across.”

Of course, he was cheating on her, but said since she cheated on her husband with him, he never trusted her. “I had no respect for her,” he writes.

Hmmmm, so Kim was cheating on her first husband with a guy who she accused of cheating on her with every girl he saw? You have to realize that this is pretty much par for the course when you’re an awful human being. I mean, she could just cheat on her husband, but that wouldn’t be shitty enough, so let’s also sit her on top of the high horse where she thinks it’s wrong to cheat because, and I’m sure this must come as a shock to some of you, but Kim Kardashian is a bad human being.

Watch: The Trailer for 'An Honest Liar - The Story of the Amazing James Randi,'

You need to have a lot of gall or a lot of merit to call yourself "amazing." James Randi has both. In the late 1940s he began performing magic under the name of The Amazing Randi. By the early 1960s, Randi had become a television celebrity, a sort of mid-20th Century version of David Blaine, only not pretentious. What separated him from throngs of other magicians, illusionists and the likes was Randi's refusal to claim that any of his gifts were mystical. His own active skepticism made him a star, his tact essentially being to tell audiences, "Look, what I'm about to do isn't real," and then deliver a trick so meticulously designed that it still impressed the very people he just told he was about to lie to.
What makes Randi even more impressive, however, is that his skepticism extends far beyond his own performances. These days he's best known for the James Randi Educational Foundation, which offers a $1,000,000 prize to anyone who claims to have paranormal abilities and who is willing to submit their powers to his strict scientific tests. He regularly challenges well-known mediums like Sylvia Browne and John Edward to take the test, but to this day none have accepted his invitation; and of the lesser-known psychics who have, none have passed the test.
Randi is already no stranger to film and television, but now Justin Weinstein and Tyler Meason, two of the filmmakers behind Being Elmo: A Puppeteer's Journey and Sons of Perdition respectively, are making a documentary about the man, appropriately titled An Honest Liar: The Story of the Amazing James Randi. The film will not only dive into his past and talk to other fellow expert skeptics like Adam Savage, Bill Nye, Richard Dawkins, Neil deGrasse Tyson, and Penn and Teller, but it will also serve to document Randi's next grand debunking as he plans and assembles, "an Ocean’s Eleven-type team for a carefully orchestrated exposure of a fraudulent religious organization."
Sounds pretty great, no? Check out the Work-In-Progress trailer below and then head to AnHonestLiar.com for more info and to donate to the production.

Malaysia Bans Erykah Badu's Concert Over Allah tattoos

South East-Asian country ,Malaysia on Tuesday banned a planned concert by American singer Erykah badu after a photograph appeared showing the Grammy-winning singer with the Arabic word for Allah written on her body.
The popular singer was scheduled to perform Wednesday in Kuala Lumpur, but some Muslim groups said Badu was an unsuitable role model for young Malaysians after seeing a publicity photo of her with what appeared to be temporary tattoos of the word Allah on her bare shoulders.
A government committee that monitors concerts decided to forbid Badu's show because she has "offended the religious sensitivities" of Muslims by posing with such tattoos, an Information Ministry official .
The 41-year-old, Dallas-born singer had already arrived in Malaysia. "She can remain here as a tourist but will not be allowed to perform", the official said.
Information Minister Dr.Rais Yatim confirmed the decision on his Twitter account

Jay Z, Kanye West To Auction Off ‘Otis’ Maybach (for charity or illuminati?)

Hip hop heavyweights and joint collaborators on the ‘Watch The Throne‘ album, Jay Z and Kanye West are set to auction off the ‘re-modelled’ Maybach car used in their breath-taking 2011 ‘Otis‘ music video.
The $350,000 luxury vehicle which was famously de-constructed in the Spike Jonze-directed video is expected to be sold off at Phillips de Pury auction house on Thursday, March 8, 2012.Proceeds from the sale are expected to go towards funding a Save the Children charity foundation. Auctioneers hope to fetch about a hundred thousand dollars from the sale.
Simon de Pury, chairman of Phillips de Pury & Company, states ‘Jay-Z and Kanye West are towering figures in contemporary culture … Their video for ‘Otis’ became an instant classic. The Maybach they have transformed for it has the starring role.‘
Carolyn Miles, President and CEO of Save the Children went on to state that money brought in from the auction will benefit families in East Africa.
‘The funds raised from auctioning off the ‘Otis’ car are greatly needed to help sustain families over the next several months. We are grateful to Jay-Z and Kanye West for offering up pop culture history to do good for children in Africa.‘
Funds from the sale of the car are estimated to feed more than 4,300 children in the ‘Horn of Africa’.

5 Signs that Blue Ivy is the Antichrist

Babyonce, aka real name: Blue Ivy, has been hailed as the second coming — at least in the music world. The combination of Jay-Z’s swagger and Beyonce’s bootylicious dancing (yes, I did just pull all of you back to 2000 – I may have watched the “Bootylicious” music video a few days ago) in one tiny, adorable package could be dangerous. However, I do hope she was born doing the “Single Babies Ladies” dance.

Either way, we here at CollegeCandy have started having our suspicions about her — from her overhyped birth to the expulsion of other families from the NICU, we can’t help but wonder…are these signs that is Blue Ivy a tiny, very talented Damien? Check out the gallery to see my reasons why!

5. Performing other acts of evil
Blocking parents from the NICU for security, potentially smuggling in a surrogate, and generally being holier-than-thou about the whole pregnancy have created a series of "well that's kind of mean and unnecessary" comments on all Babyonce posts. While right now everything is on her parents, I'm terrified for Blue Ivy's evil future.

4. Performing counterfeit miracles
That is, pretending to perform miracles, but really just letting luck, or money, take over things. This is probably the place where I would mention the fake surrogate and Beyonce's "back and better than ever" body that will be in the tabloids within a few months. I'll just let you read between the lines.

3. Arrogance
Basically, the "I'm better than you" vibe is playing hard through all these signs. When it comes to this, arrogance of the "I'm not just better than you, I'm going to rule over you and destroy the world" variety is present. I'm officially terrified of a baby.
2. Opposes those who are worshipped
We all know that Blue Ivy is going to rebel hardcore against her parents - the creme de la creme of the music industry - but she's probably going to try to overthrow the government too. Y'all watch yourselves

1. Sitting In the Temple
In Biblical language, this is a way of saying "Living in a palace and lording over us." Which, let's just say, Blue Ivy's mom and pop are more guilty of this than her (I mean, she is only a few days old), but what's she gonna learn, huh? She's better than all those other NICU babies? Um, yeah, actually.
