Chance the Rapper purchased over a thousand scalper tickets to his own festival to re-sell to fans

When Chance The Rapper's star-studded "Magnificent Coloring Day" music festival in Chicago sold out and scalpers began to set high resale prices for tickets, the 23-year-old artist decided to take matters into his own hands for the sake of his fans.

Chance took to Twitter this week to announce that he had taken floor-seat tickets back from scalpers and made the tickets available on his website for $45 or $75 - much cheaper sums than the exorbitant prices listed on resale sites.

The much-anticipated new solo single from Lady Gaga, "Perfect Illusion" - her first in about four years, and following the disappointing commercial performance of her last album "Artpop" - came out Friday.

Gaga has taken a new sonic turn on the track, which was produced by Mark Ronson ("Uptown Funk"), Bloodpop, and Kevin Parker of the rock band Tame Impala. It pares things down to a rawer, more natural instrumentation.

Mother who married daughter faces 10 year jail term for incest, 8 years after she married her son

Patricia Spann, 43 (left) from Oklahoma is facing jail time after she married her daughter 25-year-old Misty Spann (right) in March 2016  and police learnt she had previously married her son, Jody in 2008 but divorced him in 2010 after he filed for incest. According to Patricia she married her son to get him out of Military service.

Patricia and Misty’s relationship was discovered by the Department of Human Services during a child welfare investigation last month and according to police, Patricia Spann said she lost custody of her daughter and two sons at birth, and they were raised by their paternal grandmother.

Patricia was reunited with her daughter Misty in 2014 and after 'bonding' with her decided to marry Misty in 2016 which is considered Incest under state laws whether sex is involved or not.

Farmer recalls how his cow tried to kill him by breaking his ribs, neck and back

Apparently five people a year are killed by cows and bulls, and this is a statistic that one farmer now knows all too well after his prize bovine left him moments from death.

Roger, who has been working with cows for over 30 years recalled how he survived a savage attack from a cow, while speaking on This Morning on Friday.

Farmer Roger was busy piercing cows ears, as he does three times a year, but when he attempted to plug a calf's ear the mother cow became extremely defensive and mistook his care for danger.

Without a moment to react, Roger, who now needs a neck brace, said that he was knocked to the ground by the cow as she threw all her weight on to him and began crushing him.

The farmer refused to condemn the cow, named Daisy, for her actions and tried to play down the incident that left him with a broken back and neck.

He said: "I caught Daisy on an off day, all mothers are going to be alarmed if their baby is alarmed

The 15-month-old son of MMA star Marcus Kowal has been killed when a suspecteddrink-driver slammed into him as he was being pushed down the street in a pram.

The horror accident happened on Saturday in Hawthorne, California, when a car smashed into two people - a 15-year-old girl and the toddler Liam.

Police and emergency services raced to the scene and found the two suffering horrific injuries.

The 15-year-old girl had leg injuries, while the youngest victim - still in his pram - was found "pulseless and not breathing".

At least four people were shot, two fatally, as gunshots erupted at the bustling J’Ouvert celebration in Brooklyn despite NYPD doubling its patrols.

The annual West Indian heritage celebration was marred by deadly violence for a second consecutive year. Cops rushed to eastern Prospect Park before 4 a.m. following reports that four people had been shot in two separate incidents.

A man and a woman were fatally shot within minutes of each other along Empire Blvd. near Flatbush Ave. in Prospect-Lefferts Garden. The man — who is 18 to 20 years old — died of at least one gunshot wound in the chest while a bullet struck a 22-year-old woman in the head at Washington Ave., police said.

The 9 most expensive cities to live in the world

Every year, the Economist Intelligence Unit releases two reports on which cities are the most expensive and the cheapest to live in.

The first of the reports, titled "Worldwide Cost of Living," looks at factors including food costs, fuel costs, and salaries.

And because of the strength of the US dollar and currency devaluations elsewhere, there have been a few major shifts in this year's rankings.

One of the editors of the survey, Jon Copestake, said: "In nearly 17 years of working on this survey I can't recall a year as volatile as 2015. Falling commodity prices have created deflationary pressures in some countries, but in others currency weakness caused by these falls has led to spiralling inflation."

Man burns wife's mother and brother to death in Bayelsa State after she divorced him

A 37-year old man allegedly set the home of his in-laws on fire at Isampou in Ekeremor LGA in Bayelsa state, killing the mother-in-law, after his wife divorced him. The brother-in-law, who sustained first degree burns later died at the hospital.

 

According to Leadership Newspaper, the incident occurred on Thursday, at about 9pm. Angry mob from the community stormed the suspect's village in speed boats with the burnt corpses to carry out a reprisal attack by setting ablaze his family house ablaze in Bomadi, Delta State.

It was gathered that the suspect was having marital problems with his wife who later called off the marriage and returned to her parent's village. An Isampou indigene said:

"Yes I heard about the fire. We gathered that the wife left him some days ago insisting that she does not want to marry him anymore. The wife was living with her husband at Bomadi, Delta state before she left for her mother’s house at Isampou, Bayelsa"

Mum posts harrowing picture of 'lifeless' teen daughter in coma after vodka binge to warn other children

A mum has shared harrowing photos of her teenage daughter lying 'lifeless' in a coma in hospital after a vodka binge with her pals.

Melissa Aho posted the images of 15-year-old Ryleigh Ackles online in a bid to warn other children about the potentially fatal dangers of alcohol.

She said her daughter was left 'foaming at the mouth', repeatedly falling over and vomiting into her lungs after downing popular Cîroc vodka .

The teenager, who weighs less than 7 stone, nearly died after her blood alcohol content soared to a staggering .28 - a near-fatal level.

But fortunately, she survived after being rushed to hospital - after one of the girls she was with alerted her mum to her serious condition.

Sean 'Diddy' Combs on growing up: "I wanted to... shake up the world"

I am Henrilynn Ibezim, a graduate of University of Buckingham (2012). After the successful completion of my Bachelor’s degree, I immediately moved back to Nigeria to contribute my fair share to the greater development of my country particularly in my field of study.

In order to practice in Nigeria, every Law graduate must attend the one-year mandatory legal education at the Nigerian Law school and be found fit for admission to the Nigerian Bar. I was admitted into the Nigerian Law School, Bwari, Abuja in 2012, and I was with the 2012/2013 batch with identification number ABJ/1664. 

All foreign trained students are also mandated to attend a three months  Bar part 1 programme prior to the Bar part 2 programme, so as to familiarize them with the Nigerian legal system after which an exam is conducted and only the successful candidates are thereafter allowed to proceed to the Bar part 2, being the one year legal education programme for all trained lawyers in Nigeria. I passed my Bar Part 1 exam, and proceeded to the Bar 2 program. Unfortunately, due to some family circumstances I did not pass my Bar 2 exam at the first seating, however I was successful on my second seating of the exams in August 2014.

Terminally-ill woman who touched thousands with brave TV shows about living with cancer dies eight months after achieving her biggest bucket list ambition - her 40th birthday party

A terminally-ill woman who defied doctors' expectations to mark her 40th birthday has died.

Rowena Kincaid, 40, died of breast cancer yesterday. 

Rowena, from Cardiff, presented two documentaries about what to do with the time she had left when she was told she had cancer. 

The BBC Wales picture editor was just 33 and had recently returned from travelling in New Zealand when she was first diagnosed with breast cancer.

In 2013, having previously undergone surgery, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, she was diagnosed with secondary cancer and said she felt she was living on 'borrowed time'.

She decided to make two documentaries, called Before I Kick The Bucket, about living with the disease.

Mother gets her daughter a birthday cake of her head stuck in the toilet after a drunk night out

Abbi Price from Coventry celebrated her milestone 18th birthday last week and thanks to her family, it's one she'll never forget. Her mum decided to replicate a hilarious image of her throwing up after a big night out. She got a beautiful three-tier cake but at its top was the unflattering memorial.

Abbi said: 'I loved the cake and I expected the photo to be printed on the cake so when I saw they actually made a whole figure out if it I was really impressed.

LIL TWISTARRESTED 

Lil Twist -- Justin Bieber's ex-pal -- got locked up after failing to show his face for a hearing in his assault case ... TMZ has learned.  

Twist's lawyer showed up in a downtown L.A. courthouse Thursday morning, but that wasn't good enough for the judge who immediately issued a bench warrant. Twist got wind of the warrant and headed to court in the afternoon. 

When he arrived he was taken into custody, and booked for failure to appear. 

TMZ broke the story ... Twist was charged with multiple felonies for allegedly breaking into Kyle Massey's house, beating up his brother, Chris, and stealing a Rolex.

Chris Brown was arrested this week because the woman who prosecuted him in the Rihanna case still has a score to settle ... so claims Chris and his team.

Deputy D.A. Mary Murray was a key player in the decision to have Brown arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon ... this according to law enforcement sources. Murray has a long and contentious history with Chris. She not only prosecuted Brown in the Rihanna case, she was involved in the various probation violation hearings in which she asked for jail time, and often lost.
