Not giving up. Former WWE wrestler Bret Hart revealed in a moving Instagram post on Monday, February 1, that he has prostate cancer.

The longtime entertainer and athlete, 58, posted the news alongside a photo with his two young grandchildren.

"My fans have always looked upon me as a hero and I've always done my best to live up to that in and out of the ring. I beat the odds when I suffered my stroke in 2002, but it is now yet again, that I ... stand unafraid and face the tough road ahead of me, I will march toward this destiny with his spirit chanting in my ear," he wrote to his fans, noting that he will undergo surgery in the next few days.

"I make a solemn vow to all of those that once believed in me, the dead and the living, that I will wage my fearsome fight against cancer with one shield and one sword carrying my determination and my fury for life, emboldened by all the love that's kept me going this long already," he continued. "Love is my weapon and I've got much of it around me all the time, for which I'm truly blessed and eternally grateful."

Recorded on a mobile phone, the disgraceful video shows the men - of Eastern European or Arabic origin - holding one man by the arms as they verbally abuse him.

The second victim is seen grappling with one of the migrants, before he is held up by the neck and threatened.

Munich man Tom Roth uploaded the disgraceful video to his Facebook page. He caught the footage while travelling from Sendlinger Tor station to the Metro's city centre terminal.

He said the fight broke out after one of the asylum seekers was rejected by a woman who he had placed his hand upon on the train.

In response, the man smashed his hand against the carriage's glass window - an aggressive act of defiance the train's other passengers requested he desist.

However, when they did, one elderly German man was patted mockingly on the head by one of the migrant group.

That act of disrespect sparked an angry exchange

Translated, the post accompanying Mr Roth's video upload reads: 'A young woman was attacked on the subway. When two old men tried to intervene, they too were attacked.

'This was in the heart of Munich, in the middle of the day. I got on the train at Sendlinger Tor travelling to the main railway station. I sat in a four-seater, across from a young lady.

'In the four-way behind her sat two asylum seekers. One of them, a young man, probably of Arab origin, bothered the woman.

'He said something to her and asked: "Why will you not answer me on German?"

This footage shows the huge weapon haul handed in to police after calls from teacher who was stabbed in the classroom.

Bradford teacher Vincent Uzomah joined the campaign for people to give up their weapons.

Two AK47s were among the 80 guns given up along with 150 knives in the West Yorkshire Police campaign.

Mr Uzomah was working as a teacher at Dixons Kings Academy in Bradford in June last year when he was stabbed by a teenage boy.

The untreatable Zika virus has been declared an international public health emergency

There's a new virus called Zika spreading in South America, and on Monday it was declared a "public health emergency of international concern" by the World Health Organization, officially establishing it as a serious threat.

Zika, which has no cure, has been documented in the United States, but only among travelers. And itmay be linked with two more serious complications:

• A dangerous birth defect known as microcephaly
• A rare but often temporary disorder where the immune system attacks its own nerve cells

Here's a rundown of the good and bad news about the virus.

First, the good news: Zika israrely fatal (no deaths have yet been documented in people with Zika virus and no other illnesses). Symptoms of the virus are similar to those of a cold or fever.

And the bad news: It may be linked with a dangerous birth defect known as microcephaly, where babies are born with abnormally small heads. The CDC is also working to determine if there may be a link between Zika and Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), a rare disorder where your immune system attacks itself, damaging the nerve cells and leading to muscle weakness and occassionally paralysis. In general, symptoms of GBS last anywhere from several weeks to a few months. Most people fully recover, but others may have permanent damage. In rare cases, it can be fatal.

Cycling officials on Saturday detained a bicycle ridden during the cyclocross world championships in Zolder, Belgium, to investigate "technological fraud," and on Sunday they confirmed the bike had a concealed motor in the frame.

The International Cycling Union said the bike belonged to 19-year-old Belgian Femke Van den Driessche.

Update (Monday, 8:05 a.m. ET): The AP reports that Italian manufacturer Wilier Triestina says it will sue Van den Driessche.

It is the first official case of "mechanical doping" or "bike doping" at cycling's highest level. If used at the right time during a race even a small motor can provide a critical burst of power and speed.

According to Swiss media, the twins were "extensively conjoined on the liver, but had all vital organs".

India celebrated its 67th anniversary of becoming a republic with celebrations across the country on Tuesday, including a military and cultural parade through the capital.

French President Francois Hollande was the chief guest at India's Republic Day celebrations in New Delhi, with maximum security measures employed to thwart any threats.

The French leader joined President Pranab Mukherjee and Premier Narendra Modi as the military parade marched through a central avenue near the Presidential Palace.

India celebrates the day its constitution was adopted - January 26, 1950 - as Republic Day.

French soldiers also took part in the parade. It is thought to be the first time a foreign army contingent has participated in India's celebrations.

The parade included marching troops, military bands, tanks, and other hardware.

Colourful floats from various Indian states, traditional dances, and gymnastics by children were also part of the event.

The Zika virus outbreak currently gripping the Americas could have been sparked by the release of genetically modified mosquitoes in 2012, critics say.

But with the World Health Organisation(WHO) now meeting in Geneva to desperately discuss cures for the Zika virus, speculation has mounted as to the cause of this sudden outbreak.

24 allegedly high-level Sinaloa cartel members were captured in a secret US-Mexico border raid

A convicted killer has been sent back to jail after carrying out a brutal Christmas Day axe attack that left a man needing surgery on his penis.

Steven Souley, who was convicted of culpable homicide in 2011, stormed into a house party in Summerston, Glasgow, and assaulted Robert Eadie just six months after he was released in 2014.

The 26-year-old, along with accomplice Zico Malavin, 20, repeatedly hit Mr Eadie with an axe and knife and left him with a 'deep groin wound'.

Both men pleaded guilty to assault to severe injury and permanent disfigurement at Glasgow High Court on Thursday. They will be sentenced in Edinburgh next month and remain in custody.

Prosecutors said Souley arrived with Malavin at Mr Eadie's sister's flat around midnight on the day of the attack.

Souley was armed with an axe while Malavin, who was sporting a red Christmas jumper, was clutching a knife. Mr Eadie's sister, who knew the pair, immediately asked them to leave.

Allan Nicol, prosecuting, told the court: 'Mr Eadie tried to put them out, but, as he did so, both attacked him.

'He was repeatedly struck on the head and body with the axe and knife.'

The duo were eventually forced out and they fled the scene. Mr Eadie, who was covered in blood, was taken to hospital

JOHNNY MANZIEL Ex-GF To Cops ... I'M WORRIED ABOUT HIM

Johnny Manziel's ex-girlfriend told police she was worried about the well-being of the QB after a domestic incident early Saturday morning ... this according to the Fort Worth PD.

The FWPD says they recieved a call around 2 am this morning of a possible assault and made contact with a "23 year old female who stated she was involved in a disturbance with her ex-bf earlier in the evening in Dallas."

As 3m360  previously reported, Manziel and longtime girlfriend Colleen Crowley had apparently broken up in recent weeks -- and scrubbed their social media accounts of each other. The report does not mention Crowley by name but her age and information sync up.

Cops say when they made contact with Manziel's ex, she was uncooperative. Then there's this ... cops say Manziel's ex told them she was concerned about "the well-being of her ex-boyfriend." So the FWPD launched a full scale effort to find Manziel -- searching the area with the assistance of an "Air One Unit." 

Ultimately cops say they determined Manziel was "safe and in no danger" and now officials are continuing the investigation to determine if a crime was committed

It might sound bizarre, but more than 10,000 people have signed a petition hoping to makeSnoop Dogg the new narrator of Planet Earth.

This madness first began after the rapper recorded voiceovers to footage from the nature documentary for a comedy stint on Jimmy Kimmel Live last March.

Kelly Ooten, watched the show and enjoyed Snoop’s style, prompting her to launch aChange.org petition asking Planet Earth to hire him.

“Snoop Dogg has narrated some Planet Earth in the past but yo we need him to narrate full episodes,”she wrote. “Sign the petition if you agree.”

Some supporters believe getting Snoop on board would be “informational for the kids that love the music”, while others think he would be “more entertaining than most narrators”.

Snoop himself is on board, sharing a picture of the petition on his Instagram page with a caption reading: “Who made this? Let’s get this s**t going. Who want more #PlizzanetEarth?!”

FACEBOOK BANS PRIVATE GUN SALES THROUGH THEIR SITE

Facebook Inc. has prohibited global users from coordinating person-to-person private sales of firearms on its online social network and its Instagram photo-sharing service on Friday[January 29, 2016], countering concerns that it was increasingly being used to circumvent background checks on gun purchases.

The move comes as the United States debates the issue of access to guns after a string of mass shootings. U.S. President Barack Obama has urged social media companies to clamp down on gun sales organized on their platforms.

It updates Facebook’s regulated goods policy, introduced in March 2014, that banned people from selling marijuana, pharmaceuticals and illegal drugs.

Facebook already prohibited private firearms sellers from advertising “no background check required”, or offering transactions across U.S. state lines without a licensed dealer because the company said such posts indicated a willingness to evade the law.

Licensed retailers will still be able to advertise firearms on Facebook that lead to transactions outside of Facebook’s service, said a Facebook spokesperson.

A serving policeman beat his wife to death with a large battery and a paint pot after she 'went off sex.'

Jill Goldsmith, 49, died from head injuries after an argument with her husband Adrian Goldsmith at the couple's home near Northamptonshire Police headquarters.

Adrian Goldsmith, also known as Otis, was a serving officer with the force at the time of the murder last March.

He was convicted of murder at Stafford Crown Court after a three-week trial and will be sentenced on Monday.

In a statement, Jill Goldsmith's family said: "Adrian Goldsmith has not only taken the life of Jill, but he's also destroyed the life of her son, her mother and her brother.
