Surulere Killings: Slain Brothers Were Shot While Celebrating Birthday

From Punch:
Two brothers, who were killed in Shitta area of Lagos State on Thursday night, were celebrating the birthday of one of them.
Mufutau Akewusola clocked 27 on that day and his little brother, 22-year-old Malik, joined him and few other friends to mark the day.
They were having fun at a leisure spot not far from their house beside Shitta Primary School when gunmen arrived at the scene and rained bullets on the fun seekers.
Mufutau, a graduate of Lagos State University and Malik, a 200-level student of the same institution, did not survive the attack.

A pregnant woman, Mrs. Raimot Balogun, who was having a chat with the owner of the leisure spot, also died in the attack. A passer-by, Idris Shashore, was shot in the arm.

A relative of the slain brothers told PUNCH Metro on Sunday that the assailants were about eight in number.

He said, “Around 7.30pm, Mufutau was having a drink with his brother, his girlfriend and a few others. Raimot was having a chat with her friend who owns the beer parlour. Mufutau escorted his girlfriend and bade her farewell.

“Shortly after, about eight guys in fez cap stormed the place. Malik saw them and started shouting ‘gun, gun!’ One of the guys shot Malik and he fell to the ground. The guy pinned Malik to the floor, calling him bastard repeatedly and shot him over six times.

“Mufutau and Raimot were running in the same direction when they were shot. Malik died on the spot but Raimot was rushed to Lagos University Teaching Hospital where she was declared dead.”

When our correspondent visited the homes of the victims on Sunday, residents and sympathisers were seen consoling the respective families.

Raimot’s husband, Babatunde Balogun, said he was pained because his wife was pregnant. He said they had four children and with her demise, it would be difficult taking care of the children.

He said, “I am a mechanic and my wife was a trader at Costain. My first born, Musa, is 15 while the youngest, Hameed, is just four years old. Aminat, who is our only daughter, turned 13 years old today (yesterday), sadly, their mother cannot witness it as she was shot in the stomach and killed like an animal.

“She did not die on the spot. After they shot her, she was crawling on her belly but by the time she got to the hospital, she had lost too much blood. All I want for her murder is justice.”

Babatunde said the killing was cult-related and he urged the police to carry out investigations with all sincerity.

Our correspondent, who also visited the Akewusola residence, learnt that the slain brothers were the only sons of their mother.

It was learnt that Malik was a student of the Faculty of Education at LASU.

A cousin of the slain brothers said the two boys were not cult members.

He said, “Mufutau was a lady’s man. He had friends in the neighbourhood who were of shady character, but Mufutau was not the violent type. Even when he went for  his national youth service in Calabar, he ran home when there was a minor riot.

“Malik on the other hand, was very playful but he was responsible. It is a pity that they were the only sons of their mother. They have only one sister.”

Another resident told our correspondent that the killings were perpetrated by outsiders which made it very difficult to trace them.

He said, “On the day they were killed, some unidentified guys were seen sitting by their table, having some drinks. One of the guys was talking to someone on the telephone.

“A few minutes before the culprits arrived, those guys had run away which means it was a planned job. The culprits do not live in the area but they have informants who assist them.”

Meanwhile, it was learnt that residents were no longer taking chances as they had imposed a curfew on themselves while some had begun to relocate until the dust settled.

The residents said the curfew would be from 7pm to 7am as it had been noticed that most of the killings occur from 7pm.

Some residents told PUNCH Metro on condition of anonymity that the killing was a reprisal  for the death of the Chairman of Keke Napep operators, Kolapo Olatunji, who was killed by gunmen on April 21 2013, opposite Shitta primary school, Surulere.

“All these killings that have been going are all about cult supremacy. From what I learned, the death of the Akewusola brothers  was meant to avenge the killing of Olatunji.

The Chairman, Abebe Community Development Association, Alhaja Smith Kolejo, said they were all living in constant fear due to the rising level of insecurity.

She said, “I have lived in this area for 53 years now and I can tell you that things had never been this bad. These days we are even afraid to open our shops because of fear of being shot or killed.

A former secretary, Boluwatife CDA, Mr. Hafiz Oki, said so far five persons had been killed in the area while two others were injured.

He said the police had not arrested any prime suspect.

“The police have been raiding the area but many of the people arrested are later released. The culprits are not from this neighbourhood. We used to have security meetings with the police and other security agents. I think it needs to start again so that we can tackle this problem,” he said.

Our correspondent, who visited Bank Olemoh Street, observed that a van belonging to the Rapid Response Squad of the police was stationed on the road side, while three armed policemen kept watch.

When contacted on the telephone, the spokesperson for the state police command, Ngozi Braide, said investigations were ongoing. She said she was not aware of the recent killings.

'I Have Been With 150 Men In 6 Years'' - Confessions Of A Female Séx Addict

I've had 150 men in 6 years. I did it almost every day.. with strangers, even orgiés. I lost my friends and family and I've NEVER been in love

STUNNING Nicole Harrop is the kind of girl most men would love on their arm with her pretty face, big bóobs and curvy figure.
But any fella who takes her out needs to have plenty of stamina and patience - because she is a séx ADDICT.
Nicole is 24 but has slept with more than 150 men - and women - since losing her vírginity when she was 17.
This gorgeous woman has...
BEDDED someone nearly every day - and suffered heroin-style withdrawal symptoms when she went two weeks without séx.
WORN OUT boyfriends with her rampant behaviour that included group séx.
HORRIFIED easy-going flatmates with her wanton attitude.
DESTROYED relationships with family and lovers who hoped for something permanent.
NEVER been in love because she's not with anyone long enough.
Nicole know her behaviour is abnormal and is now seeking help through a group called Séx Addicts Anonymous. She told The People: "Everyone laughs when I say I'm a séx addict but it has completely taken over my life.
"I wish I could have normal relationships but I can't. My boyfriends like the fact that I'm highly-séxed at first but then it just becomes too much for them.
"If I can't see them when I want séx then I'll go out and get it from the first man I can find. It's like a drug and I can't control it."
Amazingly, Nicole had a strict upbringing with her parents. While her friends went to bars and clubs and shagged boys, the teenage schoolgirl was busy with her head in a book, studying for her exams.
Then she met her first boyfriend called Paul when she was 16. She waited for six months before having séx - but after that first time she couldn't get enough.
Nicole, from Bristol, said: "My mum and dad didn't want me messing up my studies so they were quite strict.
"I was never allowed out to parties or out drinking. Going to the cinema was a treat and I'd be picked up and dropped off by my dad.
"One night me and Paul went to a film but sneaked out to a nearby field and drank a bottle of wine.
"I remember being nervous, like most girls are, but thinking it was quite nice. The next night I told my mum I was taking the dog for a walk and went to meet Paul in a park.
"I tied the dog to a tree, dragged Paul into the bushes and pounced on him. He was over the moon but this happened night after night and after a few months we split up.
"He felt that all I wanted from him was séx. He was right really." A year later, Nicole moved into a house with three other girls.
"I went wild," she said. "In the first week I brought home three different guys. My housemates were horrified. They'd known me since school and thought I was a bit of a swot.
"This carried on for a year. I'd go clubbing a couple of times a week and it'd be a different guy every time. Plus I'd have a few 'specials' for séx.
"My friends kept asking me what was wrong and why did I feel the need to sleep with so many men. They were worried about my reputation.
"I didn't care. I'd just tell them, 'You're only young once - stop being boring.' I practised safe séx and I wasn't sleeping with their boyfriends. I just saw it as fun."
Nicole's pals asked her to leave when she brought back a handsome stranger who stole one of her flatmate's purses. She said: "They all sat me down and said that they couldn't have me living with them because they didn't like the person I'd become and were scared of all the random men I was bringing home.
"I was furious. I just thought they were trying to spoil my fun. I packed my bags and found a new flat and that's when I went completely wild. I'd go and find guys in bars on my own, flirt with them and in no time they'd be in my bed."
Nicole didn't care whether they were attractive. She said: "By the time I was about 21, anyone would do."
Nicole was a care home assistant but decided to get a bar job so she could pull even more men.
"I was terrible," she said. "I'd offer to give boys a lift home and end up in bed with them.
"One night, I went in the bar drinking. I had a reputation and three of the guys invited me back to theirs for a drink. I had séx with all of them. We stayed up all night and the next day back at the bar as I served drinks they were laughing. I had to leave because all the other girls hated me and that's when I started to feel guilty about my behaviour."
But that didn't stop pretty Nicole who soon got another job in promotions.
She made friends with another promo girl called Sarah almost as wild as her. Nicole said: "She was séx-mad for men but one night we ended up in bed together. It was my first experience with a woman and it was fantastic.
"The thought of going with a girl had never crossed my mind before. I always liked the feeling of power I had over men.
"But being with a woman was just as stimulating. I had órgasm after órgasm."
Then Nicole started visiting séx clubs when back home. She carried on having one-night-stands, órgies and sleeping with guys between boyfriends until April this year when she had séx in an alley with a "frumpy" cousin's boyfriend at a family party.
That's when her horrified parents found out about her lifestyle. Nicole said: "My sister told me unless I sorted my life out she didn't want anything to do with me." She decided to seek help and has attended Séx Addicts Anonymous meetings since June.
Nicole said: "I've got to take things one step at a time. Up until I met my new boyfriend six weeks ago, I still saw a few guys but I tried to limit it to once a week.
"Before I joined SAA the longest I went without séx was two weeks. That was the longest two weeks of my life. I was frustrated and in deep despair."
Nicole admits she's never been in love. She said: "To be honest I've not been with a man long enough." Now she hopes one day she can have a normal relationship.
She added: "I know it's male fantasy to have a girlfriend who's a séx addict but in my experience they lose interest.
"And when I meet a man I want to settle down with, I'll have to tell him what I've been through and that's what I dread."

Mike Adenuga walks out on Glo staff at birthday bash

This happened last night Friday May 3rd at Mike Adenuga Tower on Adeola Odeku street in Victoria Island. Hundreds of staff of telecoms giant Globacom gathered at the lounge situated on the ground floor of the office building to celebrate with their chairman after a text message was passed round the office on Thursday afternoon inviting staff to a birthday bash with him. Mike Adenuga turned 60 on Monday April 29th.

Okey Bakassi was there as the MC, the DJ was already playing music, drinks passed round while people waited for the billionaire businessman to arrive. Mike Adenuga eventually showed up in his Range Rover bullet proof SUV around 8pm. He graciously greeted people at the entrance of the lounge but stopped in his tracks as people started cheering loudly as he entered the lounge.

The haling was so loud and probably too much for Adenuga that he immediately turned around and left the lounge. He got into his car and left with his security detail. He never came back.

Glo staff waited for a few hours and eventually left when they realized their chairman was not coming back. Lesson learnt: Mike Adenuga doesn't appreciate unnecessary famzing! :-)

Ex-Super Eagles star Chidi Odiah denies being a taxi driver in the US

Former Super Eagles defender, Chidi Odiah, 30, has released a statement denying recent reports that he now drives taxis in the US to survive after being let go by his Russian club, Cska Moscow. See his statement below...
My attention has being drawn to the slandering news going round the online media that I was spotted driving a Taxi somewhere in the United States of America.

I am taking this rebuttal path due to the hurt that story has caused my friends and family members. With due respect to taxi drivers who means of livelihood are through that means, I state, emphatically, that I am not a taxi driver neither am I in the United States of America . I am a professional footballer who loves my profession and yet to resign from playing football.

This Beautiful Baby Was Found Under A Bus In Lagos Today

An MDB reader sent me the pictures of the beautiful baby-pictured above- found today under a bus(Danfo), at Johnson  Ikumola street, off Arababa street, Idimu, in Lagos.
The child was immediately taken to the hospital for thorough medical examination, because he had suffered from severe mosquito bites before he was discovered.
See how beautiful the baby looks? Its really sad that anyone will give him up in just like that, regardless of what the situation is. Imagine if the baby had gotten into the wrong hands...I can't even begin to think about what could have happened.
As at press time, the child is said to be with the welfare department of Pipeline police station around the Idimu axis.
While some are throwing babies away, others are praying for the fruit of the womb. Ironies of life!
