Jackie Chan Takes Delivery of the First Embraer Legacy 500 Business Jet in China

Taking rush hour to new heights, action-film front man and stuntman extraordinaire Jackie Chan has become the first customer in China to take delivery of the Embraer Legacy 500.
The new era of on-demand private jet charter claims the skies
Imagine flying to an island hideaway in the Bahamas, with warm turquoise water, gentle trade winds, and beautiful white beaches. An icy tropical drink ...
Expanding his global reach in business and philanthropy in 2012 with the purchase of his Embraer Legacy 650, Chan became an ambassador for the Brazil-based aircraft manufacturer and looks to further expedite a hectic international schedule with his latest aeronautical acquisition.

A best-in-class carrier, the Legacy 500, which starts at $20 million, is the first executive jet of its size to feature side-stick flight controls. And at the vanguard of visual displays, the cockpit is equipped with a Rockwell Collins Pro Line Fusion avionics suite. The latest Legacy is powered by two Honeywell HTF7500E engines and can cruise at up to 45,000 feet with a range of 3,596 miles (with four passengers), giving it the ability to travel from Los Angeles to Honolulu, nonstop. The 12-passenger jet’s 6-foot-tall, flat-floor cabin (pressurized to an altitude of 6,000 feet) includes a surround-sound, high-definition entertainment system and eight club seats that transition to four beds for long hauls.
