It is my desire to contest for the position of National President,FEDGOKOSA.In the coming weeks before the AGM i will unveil my plans but before then please take out time and digest my brief manifesto.

MY MANIFESTO;-
During my tenure as the PRESIDENT of our alumni group, I aim to achieve the
following;-
1. Bridge the gap between the older sets and younger sets, to create a forum
where we can all work together and be able to access data base - so complete
list of all students and obtain their contact details from school and social
sites
2. Bridge the link between Nigeria and diaspora members, to enable better
engagement and functions as one body.
3. A National website that can identify members, their occupation, the
services they can provide and links for business interests, that will
further involve members reunions in whatever country they find themselves
leading to more effective contacts.
4. Bridge the link between chapters to enable chapters function together as
a body and involve each other in their programmes.
5. To consider the formation of new chapters in different locations within
and outside Nigeria
6. To align SETS and CHAPTER goals with national objectives presenting them
under one body
7. To contribute and support more school projects to FGC Kwali Abuja,
including involvement in major programmes that will support education (prize
giving ceremony, library, computer training), sports (rebuilding sports
complex) and personal developments (career talk and relocation aspects
beyond Nigeria).
8. To organise more CHOP CHOP parties for networking purposes through non
official gatherings

Skales & Manager Locked Up In Police Cell
According to Instagram user, Wale_Eewdemi, Skales was invited by the police yesterday to come and defend allegations brought against him by his record label, Baseline Records, has been detained after confessing to some frauds he carried out. His manager, Osagie who had earlier been arrested is also currently chilling with him at the police station. Osagie was accused of diverting over N13m by the record label. Though she took to her twitter page this afternoon to confirm indeed she was at a police station, she further said, she was not in anyway involved in the fraud she is been accused off and the police have not stopped her from leaving. Here’s what Wale who is in the know wrote on his instagram page about 24secs ago.

Every year, over 100,000 people attend the Comic Con in London to see their favourite actors, directors and artists in the sci-fi, fantasy and manga world, and to buy memorabilia.
But the convention is most famous for the people who wear incredible cosplay outfits, or role-playing costumes.

How a 16-year-old kid built his dream video game company with no money
David Eisman is a 16-year-old high school sophomore and the founder CEO of video game company Pixelman Productions, which was founded in January.
He's not the typical kid programmer. In fact, he's barely a programmer at all, he says (he knows some C#). He considers himself a businessman.
But that hasn't stopped him from going after his dream: to work in the video game industry.
"I always wanted an internship at a video game company, but no one would ever hire me. They said I needed experience and I had to have built a video game already. So I decided to skip that step entirely of trying to get into a company and just make my own," he said.

Complaining Is Terrible for You, According to Science
Why do people complain? Not to torture others with their negativity, surely. When most of us indulge in a bit of a moan, the idea is to "vent." By getting our emotions out, we reason, we'll feel better.
But science suggests there are a few serious flaws in that reasoning. One, not only does expressing negativity tend not to make us feel better, it's also catching, making listeners feel worse. "People don't break wind in elevators more than they have to. Venting anger is...similar to emotional farting in a closed area. It sounds like a good idea, but it's dead wrong," psychologist Jeffrey Lohr, who has studied venting, memorably explained.
OK, so complaining is bad for your mood and the mood of your friends and colleagues, but that's not all that's wrong with frequent negativity. Apparently, it's also bad for your brain and your health. Yes, really.

Below the display there is only the company`s logo - right underneath it you can see the microphone.

Harambe shooting: SECOND zoo gorilla dies just hours after silverback is killed in his enclosure
A second zoo gorilla has died in captivity just hours after Harambe was shot dead in his enclosure in Cincinnati.
Harambe, a 17-year-old silver back was shot dead by zoo workers after a four-year-old boy managed to crawl through a gap and fall into the enclosure.
The killing has led to an outcry on social media, with many calling the decision to shoot him unjustified with some questioning how the child was able to get into the animal's enclosure, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Astonishing footage released by an eye-witness shows the Harambe interacting with the child who he seems to be 'protecting' and at one point holds his hand.
Just hours after news of the shooting, it was revealed that a member of the gorilla troop at Dublin Zoo in Ireland has also passed away.
