The BlackBerry Z30 Review

The BlackBerry Z30`s creators describe it as the most technological communicator of all similar products available in the market. This is a premium class device, so, of course, the price on it is fairly high. But it may significantly differ on various websites. Try look for the BlackBerry Z30 on Jiji, the leading marketplace in Nigeria. It`s quite logical that the wider the assortment, the
more opportunities to find the best deal.


Design
The front panel is equipped with 5" Super AMOLED display (PenTile) with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Despite the significant advantages (deep black color, high contrast, bright saturated colors and low power consumption when displaying dark shades), the screen has some minuses as well - not the highest brightness, the white color is not as white as it should be, fonts don't look smooth. This is the standard criticism to all displays of this type, but we can`t call them bad or good – tastes differ. Above the screen there are front 2-megapixel camera, a quality earpiece, led light (flashes with red, green, blue and white). Below the display there is only the company`s logo - right underneath it you can see the microphone.



The left side of the Smartphone is equipped with a microUSB ports and miniHDMI, the right one – with two microphones (provides very high-quality sound and voice recording), volume buttons and the “call voice assistant” button. These same buttons when playing music, serve as keys to control the player. The power button is located on the top edge (is responsible for both: enabling-disabling and reboot), there is also a 3.5 mm audio connector.

Software
Smartphone based on the BlackBerry 10.2.1 system, which is significantly modified and improved as compared to earlier releases. When first switched, the device checks for a new software and offers to install it. Latest firmware version 10.2.1.537 brings many improvements and changes, the most significant of which is compatibility with Android applications.

Camera
The smartphone is equipped with 8-Megapixel camera with autofocus and flash. The quality of photos is surprisingly good – the shots are comparable with the ones taken on Apple iPhone 5S in different conditions. That is you can undoubtedly use the Z30 as a compact camera.
