These are the shocking photographs showing star Mexican footballers moments after he managed to free himself from an armed kidnapper.
Olympiakos striker Alan Pulido, 25, was kidnapped after he attended a party in the northern Mexican state of Tamaulipas.
One member of the gang was guarding Pulido when he managed to free himself and tied his captor to a chair and beat the criminal until he revealed the location of the
Pulido then alerted authorities who arrested the suspected criminal, named as 38-year-old Daniel Hernandez Morales.
According to reports, Hernandez will be detained and used in the investigation to identify and locate the other suspects.
The 25-year-old was kidnapped on Saturday night outside his hometown of Ciudad Victoria as he left a party.
'Well, well thank God,' Pulido said after being quizzed on his ordeal.
Egidio Torre Cantu, governor of the state of Tamaulipas, added: 'The most important thing is that here he is, with us and that's what we want to make clear.
'At the moment the circumstances of what happened are still being investigated and later on we should be able to release the details.'

Ciudad Victoria, where Pulido was taken, is the capital of the Mexican state of Tamaulipas which borders Texas
Olympiacos have taken to their twitter account to confirm their player's safety.
'Alan is safe and healthy with his family.
'We thank each and everyone of you for your concern and prayers in these difficult times. #olympiacos #pulido.'
Pulido's girlfiend was also reportedly taken but was later released by the kidnappers.
