Florida shooting of black teenager by white vigilant(, Trayvon Martin Police Investigation Shows ‘Racial Bias’ Says Civil Rights Group)

The way Sanford, Florida police handled the shooting of an unarmed teenager by a neighborhood watch volunteer has caused outrage from civil rights groups, who have demanded a federal investigation, RadarOnline.com can exclusively reveal.

As RadarOnline.com previously reported, Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee Jr. "temporarily" stepped down from his position on Thursday in the wake of public outcry over the department’s lack of action after Trayvon Martin was tragically killed by George Zimmerman on February 26, while he was walking home carrying only a bag of Skittles and a bottle of ice tea.

On Thursday evening, thousands of supporters attended a rally in 17-year-old Martin’s home town, where the Reverend Al Sharpton spoke to the crowd while flanked by Trayvon’s parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin.

"We are tired of going to jail for nothing and others going home for something. Zimmerman should have been arrested that night ... you cannot defend yourself against a pack of Skittles and iced tea,” said Sharpton.

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) believes that the outpouring of support shows the deep impact of the shocking case.

“It was inspiring to see so many people out calling for justice, but given the gravity of the issues involved, we weren’t surprised by the responce,” Baylor Johnson, spokesperson for the ACLU of Florida, told RadarOnline.com in an exclusive interview.

“This is an issue that has been under the surface for so long and it is sad that this kind of tragedy has to happen for us to have a serious conversation about race in America.

“In order to understand why so many people from Sanford across Florida and across the country came out, we have to look at how we got here,” he went on to explain.

“There is a tragic hateful history of crimes with clear and undeniable racial motives that have been overlooked or swept under the rug.

“It is clear to us that when the police chief said there was no reason to dispute George Zimmerman’s claim that he was acting in self defense that he had already made his mind up about the matter,” Johnson told RadarOnline.com.

The ACLU and other civil rights groups took action and called for other law enforcement and federal investigators to look over the shoulder of the Sanford police and examine what happened that day – not just the shooting itself but the police department's response to it.

“We want these outside investigators to look into any deviances from standard police procedure, as well as the attitudes and any possible bias of the police officers.”

When it comes to whether he believes charges should be brought against the shooter, Zimmerman, 28, Johnson said that is up to law enforcement to come to what conclusions they think are fitting.

“We want the justice system to arrive at a just conclusion – we haven’t specifically called for an arrest, but if it results in that then it is the right conclusion,” said Johnson

Over Zealous Fan Breaks Into Simon Cowell’s Home And Confronts Him!!

Simon Cowell came face-to-face with a female intruder who broke into his $14 million London home Saturday night, a Scotland Yard spokesman has confirmed.

The British music mogul was watching TV at 10 pm when he was confronted by over-zealous fan, Leanne Zaloumis.

"It was absolutely terrifying," the 52-year-old told the Daily Mirror. "She could have had a gun."

The woman is believed to have evaded the security and gained access to The X Factor host's luxury pad through a downstairs window.

Zaloumis was eventually detained by Cowell's staff and she was arrested when police arrived.

A Scotland Yard spokesman confirmed the incident and said: "Police were called....to reports of a disturbance. Officers attended the address and found a woman had forced entry to the premises. She was arrested and taken to a west London police station where she remains.

Madrid Sex Trafficking Arrests Reveal Pimps Tattooed Bar Codes On Prostitutes

Spanish Police investigating a prostitution ring in Madrid have freed a woman who had been beaten, tied, and had a bar code tattooed on her wrist.

The 19-year-old Spanish woman had been held against her will and had a tattoo on her wrist as a sign of ownership, as well as a money figure showing how much she owed her ‘pimp’ bosses.

The woman had also been whipped, chained to a radiator and had her hair and eyebrows shaved off by the ‘bar code pimps’ as part of the ring in central Madrid, officials said.

Spanish police have since arrested 22 suspected pimps who allegedly used violence to force women into prostitution and tattooed them with barcodes.

All those arrested were of Romanian nationality and had forced the women to hand over part of their earnings, the statement said.

The women were tattooed on their wrists if they tried to escape, the statement said. Police also seized guns and ammunition. It was not immediately clear when the raids took place.

Police seized 140,000 euros in cash, which had been hidden in a false ceiling, a large amount of gold jewelry and five vehicles, three of which were described as luxury cars.

The gang was made up of two separate groups, referred to as ‘clans’ in the statement, each dedicated to controlling prostitution along fixed stretches of a street in downtown Madrid.

Prostitutes in the ring were referred to as ‘packages’, ‘suitcases’, or ‘bicycles’, police said.

One of the alleged ringleaders who was identified only by the initials ‘I.T.’ is wanted by authorities in Romania for crimes linked to prostitution, the statement said.

The women were controlled at all times to ensure ‘money was taken off them immediately,’ the statement said.

Sex is a multibillion-dollar industry in Spain, with colorfully lit brothels staffed mainly by poor immigrant women from Latin America, Africa and eastern Europe lining highways throughout the country.

Police Inspector Sets Wife Ablaze

What would make a man empty a gallon of fuel on his wife in the kitchen without regard for his 18-month-old son by the woman? That was the question on the lips of stunned patients and visitors at the Leverage Hospital, Igbo-Elerin, Okokomaiko, a suburb of Lagos State, where the doctor and his retinue of nurses are battling to save the life of a woman whose husband, a police inspector, set ablaze on Friday after a squabble.

The victim, Augustina, hails from Anambra State while her husband, Wasiu Jimoh, is from Kwara State. With burns all over her body, fluid mixed with human fat dripped ike a fountain from her face down her chest to her fingertips. Writhing in pains, the medics, Dr Bayo and the nurses, battled to give Augustina some relief as her peeling skin glued her to the hospital bed. The doctor said she had suffered second-degree burns.

Initially, she hardly uttered a word except some feeble words expressing regrets over a marriage that has gone sour barely two years after it was contracted.

How it started
The residents of 7 Tunde Lawal Street, Okokomaiko, woke up on Friday to witness a more dangerous fight between the couple said to be notorious for constantly quarreling.
According to Augustina, trouble started on Thursday when she reported to the husband that a certain lady sent her an irritating text massage warning her to leave Wasiu alone, claiming that the police officer was her man.
The victim, who claimed that her husband had the habit of keeping relationship with other women, said Inspector Jimoh flared up and started beating her. On Friday morning, he reportedly told her that since she was stubborn, he was going to deal with her.

She also claimed that he had constantly quarrelled with her over her demand for feeding money, adding that he frequently assaults her on the slightest provocation.According to the victim, as he was pounding her, a neighbor came to her rescue and facilitated her escape to another neighbour’s kitchen, who was cooking at that time, only for the husband to rush in and emptied a gallon of fuel upon her by the fire place. But police officer, said to be serving at the Ifako Police Station, Bariga, told the doctor that it was his wife that was bearing the keg of fuel in her hand as she made her escape into the neighbour’s kitchen. Unfortunately, he explained, the fuel exploded upon her leaving the whole place on fire.

Scared neighbours
When our correspondent visited the couple’s residence, neighbors talked about the incident in hushed tones as if all were mindful of an uncertain fate that might befall them if they said anything. Sunday Sun gathered that the victim was the fifth woman in the officer’s home, as four other women that lived with him had ran away for their dear lives. A reliable source disclosed that his first wife escaped when she realized that the man was like a time bomb that could explode on her. She is said to be presently living abroad.
It was gathered that until Augustina came, no woman could live with Jimoh. But the victim, according to a close associate of the husband, believed she could change the man for good.

Augustina’s shocker
Asked if she would return to the marriage after her ordeal, Augustina reluctantly told our correspondent that she would wait for her family’s decision. According to her, she cannot give a definite response until she had heard from her family and that her mind was not made up.

Our correspondent also gathered that when the incident happened, the woman ran to her Pentecostal church pastor to show him what was left of her burnt skin before the pastor instructed her to proceed to the hospital for medical intervention. Her decision to rush to her pastor, it was explained, was because the man of God had been advising her to pray that the man could change since there is no situation too difficult for God to handle.
The woman has however appealed for assistance from government and non-governmental organizations.
The police officer was arrested on Friday but it was gathered that he had been granted conditional bail at press time.

Iraqi mother of five found severely beaten in California home dies

A 32-year-old woman from Iraq who was found severely beaten next to a threatening note saying "go back to your country" died on Saturday.

Hanif Mohebi, the director of the San Diego chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said he met with Shaima Alawadi's family members in the morning and was told that she was taken off life support around 3 p.m.

"The family is in shock at the moment. They're still trying to deal with what happened," Mohebi said.

Alawadi, a mother of five, had been hospitalized since her 17-year-old daughter found her unconscious Wednesday in the family's house in El Cajon, police Lt. Steve Shakowski said.

The daughter, Fatima Al Himidi, told KUSI-TV her mother had been beaten on the head repeatedly with a tire iron, and that the note said "go back to your country, you terrorist."

Addressing the camera, the tearful daughter asked: "You took my mother away from me. You took my best friend away from me. Why? Why did you do it?"

Police said the family had found a similar note earlier this month but did not report it to authorities.

Al Himidi told KGTV-TV her mother dismissed the first note, found outside the home, as a child's prank.

A family friend, Sura Alzaidy, told UT San Diego that the attack apparently occurred after the father took the younger children to school. Alzaidy told the newspaper the family is from Iraq, and that Alawadi is a "respectful modest muhajiba," meaning she wears the traditional hijab, a head scarf.

Investigators said they believe the assault is an isolated incident.

"A hate crime is one of the possibilities, and we will be looking at that," Lt. Mark Coit said. "We don't want to focus on only one issue and miss something else."

The family had lived in the house in San Diego County for only a few weeks, after moving from Michigan, Alzaidy said. Alzaidy told the newspaper her father and Alawadi's husband had previously worked together in San Diego as private contractors for the U.S. Army, serving as cultural advisers to train soldiers who were going to be deployed to the Middle East.

Mohebi said the family had been in the United States since the mid-1990s.

He said it was unfortunate that the family didn't report the initial threatening note.

"Our community does face a lot of discriminatory, hate incidents and don't always report them," Mohebi said. "They should take these threats seriously and definitely call local law enforcement."

El Cajon, northeast of downtown San Diego, is home to some 40,000 Iraqi immigrants, the second largest such community in the U.S. after Detroit

The Moral Question: Prostitution & Lesbianism-Which One Would You Prefer At Gun Point?

The purpose of this is to establish which of the above is seen by many as less of a pain, sin or an immoral act.
It is not time to preach to you about moral uprightness but the Holy Bible which serves as a guide for many frowns on immoral activities. The same bible teaches that, all sins are somehow carry equal weight, there is no big sin and there is no small sin.
We will dwell much on prostitution and lesbianism which is the reason for this post. From ‘Ghanaian Christian’ standings, both prostitution and lesbianism are sinful and against the doctrines of Christianity.

Why, this is the dawn of the "Power Lesbians" They've taken feminism to a whole new extreme. Sistahs are only riding on what they perceive to be the 'popular trend'
I know first hand of the Naija one though, like you mentioned. Chicks who've been hurt by men run off with women in the hopes of never getting hurt. Aside from the going-to-hell ramifications of their acts, they're simply women seeking an escape from the reality they've refused to confront; the possibility that they could spend thier lives spouseless. Though I may be wrong about that diagnosis. What is it about lonelines that scares people so much?

Do I need to explain who a prostitute or a lesbian is? Here we go – when two rational females decide to have sexual intercourse with each other, they are ‘Lesbians’. ‘Prostitution’ is the practice where sex is exchanged for payment. It is also referred to as the oldest profession.

The new trend in Nigerian and in London for single women, especially those who are either divorced or have had kids outside of wedlock and even some singles is lesbianisim
Men are dogs they cheat all the time
Men do not understand us
Women know exactly what they need (physically)
women get on more with women so more lasting relationship

In my perspective i believe women cheat as well so going off with a woman is not going to guarantee no heartbreak. I am also not sure on the take that they are better lovers than men, which is possible as some men are into hit and run
I can however say that i believe that you are just as likely to get hurt with a woman as with a man. Its all about the individual rather than the gender
Money is used to lure women to either become prostitutes or lesbians. Most Ghanaian ladies become lesbians because of the financial gains. Others have also come out to say their unfortunate encounters with men are also a contributory fact.

But it still doesn’t make it right to bonk your fellow woman because you couldn’t grab a man on your own or because you have had multiple break-ups or heart breaks right?. Some reasons why some ladies continue to practice the oldest profession is closely related to the above.
I think most people want to try it out, then some stay in the life for reasons unknown to us until we ask one or two of them. From what I gathered from 2 of my friends one who was a lesbian for 15 years all of the sudden decided she was getting older and wanted to have children. she now started dating men and is getting marriend to a Naija man after only knowing him for 3 months. They just moved in together.

I was confused as to how she could be a lebian for over 15 years and then wake up one day and date men.
I have another friend who is lesbian, has a daughter from when she was 20, she is 28 now and has been living as a lesbian on and off for like 8 years. But, she lovesssss the attention she gets from men. She is now a Muslim and only covers herself when she feels like and still lives with her partner/wife and raises her daughter. So, I am confused as to weather these women are "true lesbians".

The moral maze is not about judgement or religion but about our moral standings on issues and how we view things, especially when we are desperate.

Now the moral maze is; which would you go for at a gun point, when you have no choice than to make a choice? Let’s hear you.

Aretha Franklin celebrates 70th birthday, talks new musical collaboration with Clive Davis

- Aretha Franklin has a lot more than her 70th birthday to celebrate: She's reuniting with one of her musical mentors, Clive Davis, for a new album.

In an interview at her swanky birthday party on Saturday, Franklin said she and Davis, who helped engineer her comeback in the 1980s, would be working on new music.

"I have re-signed with Clive Davis, so I'm recording with Clive again," said Franklin of the music mogul, who is associated with Sony Music Entertainment.

Franklin said that after Davis' birthday next month, "we're going to sit together and decide what it is we're going to record."

Davis sat next to Franklin for most of the night at the soiree at the Helmsley Park Lane Hotel, which included a sit-down dinner, a dance performance and a mini-concert that featured rising jazz pianist Kris Bowers.

Other guests included Diane Sawyer, Rev. Al Sharpton, and Willie Wilkerson, Franklin's longtime companion and briefly this year her fiance.

Wilkerson stood by Franklin's side as she cut her three-tier, lime-green birthday cake while the crowd serenaded her with Stevie Wonder's version of "Happy Birthday."

When asked whether marriage might once again be in her future, the Queen of Soul simply said: "We'll see what happens."

As far as future work-related plans, she was looking forward to performances in California and said she was helping negotiate a record contract for her grandson. Her planned biopic is on hold. "It's in a limbo position," she said. "It's just a lot going on."

Franklin said she planned to spend her actual birthday — Sunday — relaxing with a paper, her feet up and watching TV.

But Saturday night, she hung out with friends long after the party's designated end time.

At one point, she joked that she was turning back the hands of time.

"I was wondering, 'What is it going to be like to be 50?' I can tell you now it feels like 40," she said as the crowd laughed.

She then made reference to the film "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button," about a man who gets younger as he ages.

"So remember Benjamin Buttons?" she said. "Ree Ree Buttons!"

KIdnappers Threaten to kill 102 year Old Victim

THE six-man kidnap syndicate, which abducted Mrs. Okpa Izobo Omene (nee Udjor), the 102 –year-old mother of the Ovie of Mosogar kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Majesty, Samson Okirhobo Moyin Omene, Udurhie I, last Tuesday, threatened to kill her, yesterday, if the family does not come up with N32 million ransom.

Former chairman of Ethiope West Local Government Council, who is a son of the woman, Chief Wilson Omene, told Sunday Vanguard on phone that the kidnappers, who first demanded N150 million ransom, reduced it to N32 million when they called the family, yesterday.

He said, “They called me today (Saturday) threatening that they would kill her if we failed to pay N32 million ransom. They started with N150 million, brought it down to N100 million and later, N70 million”.

A reliable source said the family had resolved not to pay ransom to the kidnappers and that Omene spoke tough to the kidnappers, telling them that his mother was already 102 years old and there was nothing they would gain if they killed her.

It was, however, learnt that the Omene family was smelling a rat in the entire episode, as some negotiators had already fleeced N100,000 from the monarch for the release of their matriarch, only to come back to ask for another N400, 000, claiming that their boss in Warri asked for the sum before the kidnappers would play ball.

A member of the family said, “We are suspecting some politicians in our area. The negotiators said they were sent by a politician to help us secure the release of our mother. Meanwhile, a politician, now in police net over the kidnap of my mother, facilitated the release of two suspected members of the gang, who were caught by villagers at Ugbomoya on Monday during a reconnaissance of my mother’s residence”.

One of the suspects later escaped, but the one in police custody with the politician has reportedly confessed his role in another attempted kidnap case after police analyzed the call logs in the phone he left in the car of the victim.

Lady GaGa Topless Android for L’Uomo Vogue

Lady Gaga ended up tearing off her top during the photo shoot which features in the ‘Big Ones’ 2012 edition of L’Uomo Vogue. The wild New Yorker didn’t want to produce a standard fashion spread for a glossy magazine. Boring. That’s not how she rolls. So she decided to play by her own rules.

She was modeling an Yves Saint Laurent jacket, Chanel trousers and a Philip Treacy hat when all hell broke loose. The Born This Way singer suddenly decided she wanted to show some flesh. She ripped off her YSL – and it was all caught on camera.

That’s why she’s the master of shock value. Take a situation and turn it on it’s head. Guaranteed publicity and a few more records sold.

Man kills two to avenge son’s murder in Bayelsa

Calamity befell the Gbarain community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State on Friday after a man identified as Levi Ibibi allegedly ordered the killing of two persons to avenge the murder of his son, Ebibofa.Ibibi was said to have hired some yet-to-be identified youths to kill persons, identified as Delta and Solomon Emmanuel, who allegedly stabbed Ebibofa to death.

Our correspondent learnt that the three deceased persons were friends before the tragedy occurred.

But trouble was said to have started when three of them allegedly stole empty drums and handed them to Ebibofa to sell and bring the proceeds for sharing.

Ebibofa, it was learnt, sold the drums but refused to account for the money.

The development was said to have aggrieved Delta and Emmanuel who were said to have conspired to kill Ebibofa.

A source told our correspondent that the two aggrieved friends lured Emmanuel to a nearby bush, tied him to a tree and stabbed him to death.

The source, who out of fear pleaded anonymity, said the father of the deceased went berserk when the report of his son’s murder got to him.

“Ibibi recruited some youths who went in search of the accused persons. They found them and brought them to him but he ordered the mob to stab them to death. One of the boys died on the spot, but the other one later gave up the ghost”, the source said.

It was gathered that the development caused commotion among community members who invited the police to arrest Ibibi.

The suspect was said to have confessed in Amasoma Police Station that he ordered the execution of the two boys to avenge the killing of his son.

The Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Eguavoen Emokpai, confirmed the incident to our correspondent and said the police were investigating the matter.

“The man has been arrested and he is making useful statements. The matter is under investigations”, he said.

How Messi, Barca team-mates sent ‘secret’ signals to Syrian rebels

Barcelona’s footballing superstars sent secret signals to Syria’s gun-smuggling rebels during a match, the beleaguered nation’s state TV has astonishingly claimed.Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Pedro were said to reveal the best way to bring arms into Syria during an El Clásico encounter against Real Madrid.

In the outrageous Addounia channel footage World Cup winning midfielder Iniesta is said to portray the first part of the route, when arms are loaded from Lebanon.

He passes to Messi who dribbles around several of the European Champions arch-rival’s stars before setting up a goal for Pedro.

His run, it is claimed, can be deciphered as a secret code used by rebels who can then draw a route into Syria by tracking the direction of the dribbles, passes and shot.

The running commentary says, ‘Here we see the first stage where arms are loaded from Lebanon.

‘Then they pass through Homs and are delivered to another terrorist. We also see how they warn that they will face some obstacles until they reach Dayr Al Zawr.

‘Then they are transported by bus to the final destination, located in Al Magadin.’

The staggering allegation is believed by some to be an elaborate hoax, while others see it as government propaganda.

Still more think the crazy claims about the European Champions, sponsored by Qatar Foundation, were produced by the rebels in a bid to make dictator Bashar Assad look foolish.Professor Mark Almond, of Oxford University, told the Sun: ‘If I were a Syrian rebel, or someone sympathetic to them, I might make such a video to show the world how silly the Assad regime is.’

The astonishing claims came as fresh violence erupted outside the capital Damascus, and in two of its suburbs, Hasrata and Irbin, and in the south, and United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki Moon said the ‘extremely dangerous’ conflict could have global repercussions.

The uprising that began a year ago has transformed into an armed insurgency that is pushing the country closer to a civil war.

Because of Syria’s close alliances with Iran and the Lebanese militant group Hezbollah, there are deep concerns that the violence could spread beyond its borders, especially if other nations arm the rebels or send in their own troops.

Ban said: ‘We do not know how events will unfold. But we do know that we all have a responsibility to work for a resolution of this profound and extremely dangerous crisis.

‘A crisis that has potentially massive repercussions for the region and the world.’

The rebel Free Syrian Army, which includes thousands of army defectors, is the most potent armed group challenging the regime. But the group is outgunned and disorganised.

Still, few countries are even considering arming the opposition, out of fear that it would make the conflict worse.

The UN estimates that more than 8,000 people have been killed since the uprising began.

On Tuesday, Syrian soldiers backed by tanks seized the eastern city of Deir el-Zour from rebels, the latest opposition stronghold to fall to an offensive by the better equipped Syrian military.

Activist Osama Mansour said government troops and armoured cars entered the city about 60miles from the Iraqi border from four sides, sparking short gunbattles with fighters from the Free Syrian Army.

Mansour, reached by telephone in Deir el-Zour, said the rebels quit fighting and took shelter in homes and apartments, fearing that protracted clashes would destroy the city.

Taking back rebel-held cities in the past weeks, government troops have often heavily shelled neighbourhoods before sending in troops, killing civilians and damaging buildings.

‘They knew they could not hold control of the neighbourhoods, so they decided to stop fighting, knowing that the regime would bring in heavy weapons and kill many civilians,’ Mansour said.

He added that the rebels also lacked guns and ammunition.

WAR IN NOLLYWOOD, Tonto Dikeh Publicly Fights Susan Peters Dirty

Another new fight has been added to the already many dirty fights in Nollywood between actresses.

Over the years, Nollywood actresses have had bitter fights between each other over various causes ranging from men, ego, intimidation, etc.

The latest in that line of hot fight, which may explode if care is not taken is between controversy-happy actress, Tonto Dikeh and new-entrant in controversy business, Susan Peters.

According to the latest development sniffed by 3.m360 which the genesis of is still very cloudy, both Tonto and Susan Peters made their fight public.

Susan Peters talked about her anger to Tonto when she said, "I don't have a short temper, I just have a quick reaction too. Bullsh*t."

In a quick response to Susan Peters, Tonto said, "next time, I will snap all ma [BB] Porsche phones and send to you. That would be super cool. I will look for a new way to irritate you baby."

The question now is, what could have made Tonto Dikeh be sarcastic in her response to Susan Peters? What could have caused the fight between Tonto and Susan Peters?

Would it have been an earlier message from Susan Peters when she wrote, "we are not in the same class. We are not even on the same flight?"
