Looks like Tonto Dikeh has joined the growing list of stylish and rich Nigerian celebs rocking the $15,000 Hermès Birkin bag.

Tonto shared some pictures yesterday hanging out with D’Banj’s younger brother Kayswitch, she is rocking an all denim outfit, t-shirt and rocking new short hair. And it looks like that is a Birkin she is carrying…the coveted Birkin bag has a wait list of over a year (If you are buying directly from Hermes). According to Luxury Exchange an authentic Hermès 35cm Birkin costs $21,500 (that’s N3.8 Million Naira)

Man Slams Tonto Dike In Open Letter, Says:You're A Monkey!

           
I came across the letter you're about to read and found it very interesting. The letter is an open letter to actress Tonto Dike who allegedly granted an interview late 2012 in which she was was quoted to have said:

 First of all, it is nobody’s business where my fiance is from. That out of the way, yes Benin men are great and very understanding. They are not sitting and judging you unlike an Igbo man that will want to be poke-nosing in everything you do. You make your money and the Edo man is not interested in your personal affairs . “If I keep waiting for an Igbo man, I will just end up like Genevieve Nnaji who is eternally single.”

Tonto and her reps have however debunked the above statement calling it false. However, the writer of the open letter still refers to the letter against the backdrop that she perhaps made the statement afterall.

I know you feel beautiful this morning! Well, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. For me, you are nowhere near ‘beautiful’. You are just there. But before I tell you what I really want to tell you, I need to tell you something. There is a lady called Adele.She is a singer. She sings. Truth is that I don’t know you personally, but you’ve created a strong mystery around yourself. People see you as a soul from hell.They say you’ve sold your soul to the devil. Me, I don’t know where the devil lives, but I think you have. You even went ahead to show us tattoos at your back. I just didn’t understand why you did that. As an Igbo man, I will never marry a woman who has shown the entire world ‘my tattoos.’It is not good. I am an Igbo man, so I will need to know who snapped the picture. Maybe, your secret boyfriend? This is the reason why we are bad, abi? Adele doesn’t go around seeking attention. She doesn’t pay anyone to publish pictures of her tattoos. Who knows? She may just have a lot of them. I haven’t seen them. I have seen yours. 

There is nothing wrong in you tattooing your entire body, but what is my businesswith that? Are you not supposed to be an actress? Of course, I understand that you appear in ”p”  films now? That is good. At least, you are doing what you know best. But to pick on Igbo men? This is very unacceptable.You insulted a lot of us. This simply shows how unintelligent you are towards anthropology. Men are the same all over the world. Igbo man, Yoruba man, Hausa man. We all treat women in similar ways. We love unconditionally. Interviewer: We just learnt that you will be getting married soon to your new boyfriend who happens to come from Benin, Edo state. Why are so many Nollywood female starts getting snapped up by Benin or men from Edo state?

In a reaction to the alleged interview, which has spread like harmmatan fire, Tonto reacted this way, “I have never and will never say anything against Genevieve. I will not even interfere in her personal issues. I did not grant such interview.”

Her publicist also denied any such statement from Tonto dike. The publicist said, “after her interview with you (NFC) last year December, Tonto dike has only granted an interview with a soft-sell magazine, which was done about three months ago.
So, I don’t know where that purported interview came from or when such was granted.”

WAR IN NOLLYWOOD, Tonto Dikeh Publicly Fights Susan Peters Dirty

Another new fight has been added to the already many dirty fights in Nollywood between actresses.

Over the years, Nollywood actresses have had bitter fights between each other over various causes ranging from men, ego, intimidation, etc.

The latest in that line of hot fight, which may explode if care is not taken is between controversy-happy actress, Tonto Dikeh and new-entrant in controversy business, Susan Peters.
