ISIS indoctrination mobile phone app targeting children exists, Nigerian Government warns

 

FG has alerted Nigerians to the existence of a newly-launched mobile application developed by the ISIS for propagating jihad to children. Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, who disclosed this in a statement issued by his spokesperson, Segun Adeyemi, in Abuja today Thursday, June 16, said the mobile application, tagged "Huroof" (Arabic alphabets or letters), is to be used by ISIS to teach children the Arabic alphabets with the aid of guns, military tanks and cannons.


"The application utilizes colourful illustrations that attract and engage the attention of young children," He urged parents and guardians to be vigilant and to prevent their children and wards from being indoctrinate. Source: Premium Times

Meat Loaf collapsed on stage during a concert on Thursday night.The 68-year-old singer - real name Michael Lee Aday - was performing in Edmonton, Canada, when the incident took place.
Concert goers tweeted pictures and video from inside the venue at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium where he could be seen dramatically falling to the floor.
"I'm a paramedic," someone shouts as his band members rush to his aid.
Other pictures show an ambulance arriving at the auditorium.

SARAKI RECOVERS N52 MILLION FROM HIS ACCOUNTANT

Senate President Bukola Saraki is conniving with the Nigerian Immigration Service to deport members of his domestic staff reportedly involved in the theft of N300m in his bedroom in Ilorin, Kwara State.
Last weekend the Kwara Police Command recovered N52m from one “Alhaji Ishmail,” reported to be Saraki’s domestic accountant.
The police investigators have so far refused to disclose their findings concerning the theft of the huge sum of money, in two tranches, last month.
A police source, however, told Saharareporters that they have arrested several persons below over the theft.
The names of the suspects were given as Isaac Nuhu, Oyeniyi Oluwatoyin, Johnson Oluwafemi, Ayoko Ohibu, Tunde Abolade, Buhari Mufutau, Sunday Dalumo, Abel Gbewa, Ajani Bamidele. Ojo Makonde, Femi Adebayo, Haruan Sheidu, Alimi Yinusa, Muhammed Gambari, Emile Abayomi, Shola Owolabi, Nathaniel Ahouangnimon, Akinboboye, Cletus and Achwuche.
Nationals of Benin Republic on the list are being deported by the NIS at the instance of Mr. Saraki

About two weeks ago, Ifeoma Nelly, a 200-level Industrial Chemistry student of Delta state university and her cohorts were arrested for allegedly impersonating Nigerian pop star, Wizkid.
The arrest of the fraudsters has been a welcome development for Wizzy who said the act had put a dent on his personality in certain quarters.
‘I am very thankful to the Nigeria police for what they did for me. The case has been going on for a while now, I thank God we have been able to arrest one of the suspects. We would pursue this case to the court and ensure we get justice,’ the singer said in a recent chat with Guardian.

'El Guero', co-founder of feared Sinaloa drug cartel, released early from US jail

Mexican drug lord Hector ‘El Guero’ Palma is turned over to Mexican authorities at the Puente Nuevo international bridge in Brownsville, US.

Drug lord Hector “El Guero” Palma, one of the founders of the Sinaloa cartel, returned to Mexico on Wednesday after serving almost a decade in a US prison.
US authorities handed over Palma in Matamoros, across the border from Brownsville, Texas, according to a Mexican federal official who requested anonymity due to a lack of authorization to speak publicly on the matter. The US embassy in Mexico confirmed Palma’s transfer in a statement.
Palma was arrested in June 1995 in western Mexico and later extradited to the US where he pleaded guilty to cocaine trafficking charges and was sentenced to 16 years in prison. The US embassy said Palma received early release for good behaviour.
Palma had been released from federal prison in California on Friday and put into the custody of US immigration officials.

GAY PRIDE-BOUND GUNMAN FLED DURING CHILD MOLESTATION INVESTIGATION
