A breast cancer patient was appalled when her bungling former bosses at KFC sent her partner a letter requesting her death certificate.
Louise Johnson, 48, who has been battling cancer for 11 years , says her partner Margaret Cawley received the letter out of the blue two years after Louise quit her job.
The shocking document claimed that the fast food giant had been notified that Louise had died and even went on to ask for a copy of her death certificate.
Louise, from Tamworth, Staffordshire, said: "I just couldn't believe it.
"You don't expect to read your own obituary but that's what it was like. I'm not dead, I'm very much alive and still fighting.
"At first I was a bit bewildered by it but the anger soon kicked in.

President Barack Obama on Wednesday said a mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, is part of a deadly "pattern" of gun violence that has "no parallel in the world."
In a brief preview of an interview with CBS that was set to air on Thursday morning, Obama reiterated his call for increased gun-safety laws, stronger background checks, and a ban on gun purchases for people on the TSA's no-fly list.
