It’s been about a year since Tyga first hinted at the unrest happening inside one of the most successful rap labels ever, when he voiced his disapproval with the way his career was being handled. Lil Wayne would shortly follow, shocking the world with his tweets about the souring of his relationship with Birdman, whom Wayne has referred to as his “dad” for much of his career. Drake and Nicki Minaj have been cryptic about their situations, but on his February mixtape, If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late, Drake didn’t shy away from hinting at said unrest, with lines like “Walk up in my label like, where the check go? Yeah I said it.”

Birdman Gets Yet Another Tattoo On His Face
YMCMB boss and Lil-Wayne's adopted dad Birdman, has gotten yet another tattoo on his face.
The 44 year known for wide spread tattoos all over his body has recently inked the words 'Rich-Gang' on his tattoo covered face.
I really wonder why anyone will disfigure their face by tattooing irrelevancies on it, like Birdman and Lil Wayne. SMH.

Diddy Tops Forbes' Wealthiest Hip-Hop Artists
Diddy** is 2012's top-earning hip-hop mogul, according to Forbes.
The artist born Sean Combs is worth $550 million, according to the magazine, which includes his stakes in Ciroc Vodka, Sean John and Enyce clothing, Blue Flame marketing and his label, Bad Boy Records.
The entrepreneurial musician could reach new financial heights next year with the launch of his own cable channel, Revolt.
He's followed by Jay-Z**, at $460 million -- which includes earnings from the "Watch the Throne" tour in addition to his Live Nation deal and business holdings including the New Jersey Nets and his 40/40 Club chain, among others.
The rest of the top five includes Dr. Dre** ($270 million), Birdman** ($125 million) and 50 Cent** ($110 million). Dr. Dre's worth has doubled in the last year thanks to the sale of Beats Electronics, the producers of the popular Beats by Dre headphones line. Mystikal Says He's Not Involved With Birdman & Mannie Fresh Beef
Mystikal says he's an impartial party in the rift between Birdman and Mannie Fresh.
It's no secret that Bryan and Mannie Fresh haven't been on good terms over the past few years, but Mystikal, who recently signed to Cash Money, isn't involved in the beef. During an interview with MTV's RapFix Live, the New Orleans, Louisiana rapper said that he was in prison when their differences arose.
"I was gone, I wasn’t out here. What I do with Mannie is what I do with Mannie. What I do with my company is what I do with my company," he says.
Mystikal has been working with Mannie Fresh on his upcoming Cash Money debut Original, stating that there are about five tracks completed with Fresh for the project.
"I did some hot tracks with him, when I first came home, like some mixtape kinda stuff. We just ain't ever released it yet," he said. "Me and Mannie, we have about five under our belt right now, so I'm just tryin'a keep it movin'. I got what I need from KLC, the Beats by the Pound stuff. Lord, it's gonna be an awesome album."

Mystikal Says Lil Wayne & Baby Saved His Life, Talks Prison Experience
Mystikal shares that Lil Wayne and Baby saved his life, says that returning to YMCMB is "humbling" after spending six years in prison.
After spending six years in prison, Mystikal finds himself rhyming alongside Lil Wayne as part of YMCMB. During a recent interview with Hip Hop Nation, Mystikal spoke about what it means for him to be a part of such a popular label after being locked up for so long. Mystical shared that it has been "humbling" and added that Weezy, Baby and company saved his life.
"My head is still spinning right now," he shared of the transition he's experienced from going to prison to returning as part of YMCMB. "It's humbling. It's really humbling to be looking from the six years [in prison], looking up at everything. That's at the bottom of the barrel. The only thing worse than being in prison is probably death itself. So to do that for six years and then to come home and be on top with the top record label in the world? It's humbling."
Mystikal also shared that he is thus more mindful about his subject matter when rhyming. He then expressed how fortunate he feels to be in his current situation.
"That was nothing but God that allowed this situation to unfold like this," he shared. "After the debacle and everything that happened, God still showed up at the end."
Moving on, he added that Lil Wayne and Baby saved his life.
"They didn't save my career; they saved my life," he noted.

Birdman Aims to Drop 16 Albums Under YMCMB in 2012
Baby's ambition is clear: the flamboyant Cash Money CEO wants to release 16 albums under the YMCMB umbrella within the first six months of this year.
After recently explaining to mmm360.blogspot.com how the deal with Fred Durst's 1990s rock-rap band, Limp Bizkit, came about, Birdman tells XXLMag.com there are still other acts from genres other than rap that he and Slim are interested in scooping up to further expand the roster.
"I think bringing Fred and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look," Birdman says. "We dominate rap, but we're also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country."
Of course, Cash Money will always be hip-hop heavy with headlining acts such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake, but Baby wants to dominate in other areas as well.
"We're a brand and we don't want to be categorized as one type of brand," Stunna continued. "I think we're a machine and we activate and were active as a machine. I thought this Limp Bizkit move would be big for us as a brand and a machine."
Birdman revealed to XXLMag.com that Limp's first single will feature Lil Wayne and comes out next week.
Already, there's a rash of artists under the YMCMB umbrella with music on the way. Bow Wow's, Underrated, LP and Lil Twist's, Don't Get It Twisted drop a week apart on March 13 and March 20, respectively, while Nicki Minaj's, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is slated for April 3. New albums from Busta Rhymes and Mystikal--also new YMCMB signees--have summer release dates as well.
