The pre-concert party for the Mother of all shows, TOP10MICS will hold tomorrow Friday, November 16, 2012 at the upscale celebrity hangout spot, Koga Lounge in Oregun, Lagos with the headlining artistes making appearances.

The TOP10MICS will hold at the elitist Eko Hotels and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos with performances from African Queen Crooner and Hypertek Boss, Tuface Idibia, new MOBO Award Winner, Dbanj, Afrobeat legend, Femi Anikulapo Kuti and the Afro Juju creator, Sir Shina Peters (SSP).


Before the day fans would this Friday get the opportunity to meet and greet the headlining acts at upscale club, Koga Lounge. The acts that would grace the pre-concert party are: 2face, Jimmy Jatt, Femi Kuti, Dbanj, DJ Neptune, Yaw and Basketmouth and other fast rising artiste like Angel F and others. Like a movie story,2 popular Yoruba actresses were arrested by military men and made to make some refunds after collecting millions from the son of a powerful spiritualist based in Isheri/Igando axis a Lagos suburb.
According to military sources, they were invited by the Islamic cleric who appealed they help him recover several millions deposited  in his son’s  account by customers which have been mismanaged.
The son of the spiritualist after undergoing interrogation told soldiers that he spent the money on 2 popular Yoruba actresses, Toyin Aimakhu who got 800,000.00,and Regina Chukwu who got 2.3milliom. Another producer simply known as Blessin Osuya  collected 1.6million.
The soldiers swiftly got Toyin arrested and she insisted the money was part payment for a business transaction, she however refunded 500.000.00 out of the 800.000.00 she collected, Regina too returned 1million out of 2.3million while Blessing who was to commence shooting of a new movie refunded 1million before they were left off the hook.

A 40-year-old Bangladesh woman, Monju Begum, has reportedly cut off the penis of a man who was allegedly trying to rape her, and then took it to police as evidence.According to police, Mozammel Haq Mazi, the suspect, who is also Begum’s neighbor, forced his way into her shanty and began sexually assaulting her. Investigators say Begum stopped the attack by cutting off his penis. She then placed the evidence into a polythene bag and took it into police as proof that Mazi had attempted to rape her.Begum, a married mother of three, told the police that Mazi had been harassing her for the past six months. He is reportedly also married and has five children.Police spokesperson, Abul Khaer, said “It is quite an unusual incident. As far as I am aware, this is the first time that a woman has brought a severed penis to the police station as evidence… We will arrest him once his condition gets better,” said Khaer.Meanwhile, Mazi denied the allegations, telling investigators that the two were having an affair. In Mazi’s words “Recently she suggested that both of us can go settle down in Dhaka… I refused and told her that I cannot leave my wife and children, so she took revenge on me.” Doctors say the man’s pénis will not be re-attached.More and more, reports are surfacing about women who resist rape by very severe methods. This report comes in a few months after another woman in Turkey killed, then beheaded a rapist and left the head on display at the village square. She was then celebrated by some female activist groups as a hero of some sort.Are women who go to such severe lengths to prevent or resist rape justified?
