Black Friday 2015: Brutal fights break out in American malls as shoppers clash over best deals

Shocking brawls have broken out in America as desperate shoppers fought to snap up the first bargains of Black Friday.

Two men were seen throwing at least a dozen punches at a mall in Louisville, US, while the crowd stood by watching.

Another man joined in before several tried to break it up.

Violence has kicked off across the US as desperate shoppers battle for bargain deals.

Brave Paris terror attack survivors pictured on stretchers at memorial service as France honours 130 victims

These touching pictures show victims of the Paris terror attacks turning out for an emotional tribute to the 130 people who died in the massacre .

Some of those injured two weeks ago were carried into the memorial on stretchers and in wheelchairs in a determined effort to take part in the ceremony.

President Francois Hollande told the crowd at Hotel des Invalides in Paris that the country would "do all it can to destroy the army of fanatics" behind the attacks.

Family members of the victims were also among those who attended the ceremony, including the parents of British victim Nick Alexander.

Dad who killed paedophile for taking pictures of his children avoids jail

A millionaire who punched a paedophile to death after seeing him take pictures of his young daughter is to be spared jail. 
Dad-of-three Devinder Kainth was sentenced to six months after admitting the manslaughter of Sandro Rottman at a restaurant in the upmarket resort of Sotogrande, Spain.

But the sentence is to be suspended as he made a deal with prosecutors – and first offenders in Spain are normally not jailed unless they are given two years or more.
And it emerged Kainth, an estate agent, may even end up being let off with just a fine after his lawyer appealed. 
A source said: “Mr Kainth feels aggrieved as prosecutors offered him a suspended jail term replaceable by a fine.

“He agreed but the judge said the law had changed and the swap was off. Now he wants the deal of a fine he was offered.”

Rottman, 43, died in hospital after the attack in the Spinnaker Restaurant. Kainth, 39 – out for a meal with partner Gemma Hawkins and their children – turned violent after finding snaps of his kids on the computer programmer’s iPad.
Rottman, a German was facing trial at the time over child porn on his computer.
Judge Raquel Gomez Sancho, who sentenced Kainth after the deal, ruled Rottman’s health problems from heavy drinking had contributed to his death.

Biodun was born with the sickle cell Anemia. The young man’s condition deteriorated after he wrapped up his final exams in the OnabisiOnabanjo University. He has lost all of the muscle functions in his lower body and the pain he goes through daily is better imagined than described.Abiodun urgently needs Hips and Knee replacement surgery.  We hope to send him abroad for the replacement surgeries as soon as he is done with physiotherapy. Today his life hangs in the balance. He had to miss the compulsory National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on account of his illness.

California just demanded Volkswagen recall another 16,000 VW, Audi, and Porsche vehicles

California air quality regulators on Wednesday demanded a recall of up to 16,000 additional Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche diesels as the Volkswagen emissions scandal widened.

The notice from the California Air Resources Board came less than a week after state and federal regulators disclosed that Volkswagen Group automakers installed software to cheat emissions tests on more diesels than initially thought.

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Resources Board said last week the software was on about 85,000 Volkswagen, Audi and Porsche vehicles with 3-liter, six-cylinder engines going back to the 2009 model year.

Earlier this month, regulators accused VW of installing the so-called defeat device software on about 10,000 cars from the 2014 through 2016 model years.

The engines in question were built by Audi and distributed to Porsche and Volkswagen as well, said David Clegern, a California Air Resources Board spokesman. The automakers each independently certified their products with state and federal regulators and are therefore all responsible, he said.
