Popular actress in jail for scam

According to military sources, they were invited by the Islamic cleric who appealed they help him recover several millions deposited in his son’s account by customers which have been mismanaged.
The son of the spiritualist after undergoing interrogation told soldiers that he spent the money on 2 popular Yoruba actresses, Toyin Aimakhu who got 800,000.00,and Regina Chukwu who got 2.3milliom. Another producer simply known as Blessin Osuya collected 1.6million.
The soldiers swiftly got Toyin arrested and she insisted the money was part payment for a business transaction, she however refunded 500.000.00 out of the 800.000.00 she collected, Regina too returned 1million out of 2.3million while Blessing who was to commence shooting of a new movie refunded 1million before they were left off the hook.
Efforts by MetroNews to speak with the victim and the movie acts were unsuccessful and they all expressed fear about how powerful the spiritualist is and would rather let sleeping dogs be.
Trust us to dig more into the story and serve you fresh.

Man Uses GPS to Trace His Wife to a Place Where She was Having S*x with a 16-year-old Boy
A suspicious husband has made use of the GPS capability on his wife’s cellphone to trace her, only to find the 38-year-old teacher having sex with a 16-year-old boy. The wife, Amie Neely, now faces a felony sexual assault charge after being arrested by Port St. Lucie, Fla. police early Sunday morning, according to TC Palm.
Reports have it that the boy was an exchange student living with Neely and her husband at the time of the alleged assault. There is also another exchange student still taking up residence there. There is no indication, however, that Neely, who teaches at Community Christian Academy, ever taught the student she’s accused of assaulting.
The boy told the police that he drove Neely to an area near St. Lucie West Centennial High School. He said he got in the back seat with Neely and, as the two were having s*x, the teacher’s husband walked up to the car and discovered them.
Meanwhile, Neely has blamed “midlife crisis” feelings for her behavior when questioned by police, according to TC Palm. She also said the boy kept asking for sex and she hoped he would stop asking if she went along with his requests, according to police. The boy also told the police he and Neely had sex on multiple occasions, including inside the teacher’s home.

Nigerian Teenager Gets New Limbs For Free After Attack
Ruth Folake Idowu, 19, of Nigeria, eats a popsicle in the waiting room of Johnson’s Orthopedic in Riverside where she was being fitted for a new prosthetic arm on Thursday. Idowu lost both arms two years ago to a knife-wielding madman in a restaurant in her native country.
After a madman hacked off both her hands two years ago, 17-year-old Ruth Idowu prayed to Jesus for new ones.
The faith of the shy Nigerian teenager and the kindness of strangers – who are now dear friends — have prevailed. Today, the people at Johnson’s Orthopedic Appliances in Riverside are making Ruth two new appendages free of charge to restore the limbs and the independence she’d so brutally lost in her native country.
The journey was set in motion by Ruth’s sponsors and hosts, Tunde and Titi Akinremi – a married couple with residences in both Colton and Nigeria. Tunde, 57, a paraplegic, founded a support group decades ago in their African homeland for the disabled. Learning about Ruth’s plight, he quickly notified friends he knew through a special-needs family camp in Southern California who had connections to Johnson’s Orthopedic.
The camp had inspired Tunde to launch a similar one in Nigeria in 1995. Called Tunde And Friends Foundation, the organization is funded by donations to provide health-care screening and equipment such as canes and wheelchairs. With airfare and other expenses paid through this nonprofit, Ruth Idowu and a friend from her hometown are staying on six-month visas with the Akinremis at their Colton home.
Since October, Mike Openshaw, 35, the head prosthetist at the clinic, located at 7254 Magnolia Avenue, has been fitting Ruth with temporary mechanical limbs, readying her for the finished products in a couple of weeks.
“She’s doing wonderfully, better than I expected,” he said. “When she came she said, ‘Get my hands back’.”
Idowu had never heard of or seen artificial limbs. Openshaw explained that he could only make her arms functional again, not restore her hands.
As she awaited a recent appointment, Idowu, now 19, licked mango ice cream on a stick clasped between the aluminum pincers attached to a plastic device on her right arm. “I can eat,” she marveled with a big grin, relishing a simple pleasure long denied her. She talked about learning to drive, using a computer and studying accounting when she returns home early next year.
“She loves to boil water in our kitchen,” Titi Akinremi, 58, said with a laugh. “She used to do a lot of cooking in her parents’ restaurant.”
Titi’s husband Tunde, a math teacher in Pomona, said that Ruth picked up the phone when he called her from work. Her occupational therapist, Cathy Armitage, who is volunteering her services, rewarded Idowu’s progress with a battery-operated toothbrush. When asked what tasks had become impossible, she replied in halting English: “Everything.”
Ruth Idowu’s life changed forever on Oct. 2, 2010, transforming her from a carefree high school graduate to a helpless amputee. She was clearing tables in the tiny café her parentsown in Oja Odan, a city of 7,000 in Southwest Nigeria. A drug-crazed man with a knife burst in and began slashing at Ruth from behind. When she raised both hands to protect her neck, the attacker chopped off her right hand at the wrist and severed her left arm at the elbow.
Jungle justice ensued, said Tunde Akinremi, interpreting for Ruth. A gang of young men chased the assailant, doused him with petrol, set him afire and watched him burn to death.
But there was no justice for the maimed Ruth, who spent eight months recovering in a Nigerian hospital. “There are limitations to health care in Nigeria,” said Titi Akinremi, a pathologist. “She couldn’t get this,” she said, gesturing as Openshaw fitted Ruth with left arm prosthesis.
“At best she would get a wooden stump,” her husband Tunde Akinremi said. “She would be dependent all her life. There would be no opportunities for that girl.”
He met Ruth for the first time last year. She and her pastor traveled three hours to Abeokuta, the Akinremis’ hometown, to plead for help from the Tunde And Friends Foundation. One of its biggest supporters is Center Point Church in Colton where the Akinremis worship.
Tunde Akinremi immediately accepted the challenge. It would take more than a year to network with his American friends and unscramble the red tape to bring Ruth to Riverside.
For the past 30 years, he’s been in a wheelchair since a car accident in Nigeria, the impetus for his involvement with special-needs people. In 1998, he became close friends with Robyn Souder, whom he met at a retreat for families of disabled loved ones in Agoura Hills. For 26 years, orthotists at Johnson Orthopedic Appliances have been making braces for her son, Joshua, who has cerebral palsy. Clinic owner Bill Kearney agreed to treat Ruth for free.
Lisa Dreher, Johnson’s billing manager and friend of Souder’s, tackled the calls and paperwork, ultimately contacting U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein. The Department of Homeland Security initially turned Ruth down. “They wanted thumbprints,” Dreher exclaimed. “Thumbprints!”
Souder, 53, persuaded retired rehabilitation specialist Armitage to come on board. “At first Ruth was extremely shy,” Armitage said. The breakthrough came when she showed Ruth a video of an amputee like herself with two artificial arms: Ruth understood.
“She’s full of joy,” Armitage said. “She will be totally independent.”
Souder, who’s thrown dinners and parties for Ruth and her friend Dorcas in her Lake Mathews home, describes their spontaneous eruptions of singing and dancing.
Every Tuesday and Thursday the Akinremis bring the women to the clinic. Prosthetist Openshaw recently fitted Ruth with her temporary left arm, demonstrating its seven positions, operated through rubber bands and bicycle cables. The customized finished products for both arms will be made of laminated, flesh-toned carbon fiber, each weighing less than 2 pounds and lasting two to three years.
“Considering the progress she’s made in four weeks, I’d say she’s doing awesome,” Openshaw said.

K1 did not sleep with my daughter - Pasuma
On why he chose to create his clan Pasuma said “ I have my reasons for leaving Arabambi to create my own identity. let me start by explaining the word Oganla to you. We have all been created by God and have our purpose on earth. At every point in our lives we are expected to achieve certain things and no matter how reluctant you are you will surely do according to God’s will. Oganla mean boss of all bosses. Let me explain it clearly so you don’t get it wrong. God has used me to create a family and has made me the leader of the family and the family is Oganla. It is a Yoruba word that means big boss. So, since it is time for me to do according to God’s will, I needed to find a name that will not only appeal but will have meaning and befit my new status. You see when the time is right in anything you do in life you will know. I am doing this at the right time and I felt there is a need to do it and create my own identity. I have been bearing the name Arambambi 2 for several years but I feel the time is right for me to create my own identity. This is the new Pasuma and you have to accept it the way I present it to you.. We are going into a new year and it is my new- year resolution” speaking further on how long he has been thinking of denouncing the Arabambi family and if this will not create enemity between him and K1. He responded that “the word denounce is not the right word. The right word is “Maturity”. I have grown and need to start my own family. Let’s take for example when a father gives birth to a child, he will bear his father’s name and remain under his tutelage for a particular period of time. Someday he will grow matured enough to get married and start his own family. Will the father be happy or sad? Of course he will be happy and will even be looking forward to having grandchildren and great grandchildren. The same thing applies here. I am still loyal to K1 but I am like that child who needs to leave his father and start his own family and same goes for K1 who will surely be happy to see me grow and matured enough to create my own family in the fuji music sector. It’s funny how people are spreading rumours that I and K1 are not in good terms. Have you heard anything like we are not in good terms or have disagreed over anything? Is it a crime or a sin for a man to act like a man and be independent? If at a certain age a man still lives in his father’s house, he will be regarded an irresponsible man. If at a certain age a man still lives in his father’s house or depend on his parent, do you think you will be respected? No he will not. Let’s imagine a man attains that age of maturity and ready to live his own life, will his father not be happy? He sure will because you have even given him a reason to be proud of you. This is not about K1, it is about me wanting to do my one thing. It is about me making an independent move but since there is no way people won’t bring K1 into it, I wish to make it clear now that K1 will be happy for me. He has always known I will grow to start my family someday. Arabambi was created by K1 and I have done my own thing called Oganla. Let me take you back a little. Are u aware that K1 used to be Wasiu Ayinde Barrister before he changed his name to KWAM 1. Barrister was his father and they were very close till he died. He changed his name and dropped the Barrister thing to create his own identity and the same thing is what I am doing. So Barrister is my Grand Father, K1 is my father and I am the son creating a new identity and new path for myself. Like I said earlier I am still loyal to him and everyone in the industry knows that. I don’t see any reason anyone should start thinking there is a fight between us else the person has a shallow mind. For no reason do I expect anyone to start thinking I have issues with K1. I remain 100% loyal to him. As a matter of fact Oganla is affiliated to Arabambi except that I no longer bear the name Arabambi 2 but Oganla 1”
Right now, rumours making round the music industry is that Pasuma fell apart with K1 because he was alleged to be having an affair with his daughter Wasilat. Responding to this, his manager Afolabi Oyekoya says “this is the funniest thing I have ever heard in my life. Yeah, he has moved on to create his own identity but can’t believe people can be so shallow minded to insinuate issues like this. It’s an insult to K1 and Pasuma. Why on earth would anyone even bring his daughter into this issue? To be frank, there is no Iota of truth in the allegation. There is no misunderstanding between Pasuma and K1 so I don’t understand why people just want to create a big deal out of nothing. On a normal day he would not have responded to such issue but with the sort of society we live in, such grave allegations should not be left unchallenged, especially when it is untrue. Bringing an innocent young girl into this is an insult to the father and he detests the carriers of such information in its entirety. The person that started the rumour must have started life somewhere and worked for someone. Is he/she saying that, when he left his boss to do his/her own thing, he fell apart with him because he slept with his mother, wife, sister or daughter? Must people be so shallow minded and irresponsible to make such comment? His daughter should be left out of it because in no way does she have anything to do with his father’s career nor why he denounced Arabambi to create his own identity. Well, everyone in Nigeria is now a reporter but there are still professional journalists.”
Pasuma who is busy rehearsing for his new album scheduled for release in December 2012 added that “people say a lot of things when issues like this arise. As far as I am concerned I am not bothered about the rumour because it is total rubbish and irrelevant. I remain loyal to K1 and the rumour is to create a misunderstanding between us but that will not happen because we are matured enough to handle it”

TICKER: Woman allegedly swallows 51 condoms filled with WHAT?
What a dope.
Customs officials at Vancouver International Airport say a woman returning to Canada had swallowed 51 condoms filled with heroin, the Times Colonist reports.
Agents detained the traveler, whose name was not released, on Nov. 6 on suspicion of carrying drugs. After a hospital X-ray revealed the heroin-filled condoms, known as “pellets,” doctors determined she had both ingested and inserted the drugs, according to the Calgary Herald.
Surgeons were able successfully remove the pellets, but experts say the woman would have died without medical intervention.
“Ingesting narcotics to evade detection is a practice that is extremely dangerous for the courier, regardless of how well the pellets are wrapped,” Nicole Goodman, chief of airside and special enforcement operations, said in a press release.
According to the release, the woman was the third internal drug smuggler caught at VIA in three days.

Cops investigating rapper who beat woman in viral video
The next day, another little known Chicago rapper named “Chief Keef” took to his Twitter page to mock the slain rapper’s passing.
“It’s sad cus Jojo wanted to be just like us #LMAO” he wrote in a tweet.
Police say Lil Jojo (pictured left) was linked to the Gangster Disciples street gang, which put him in the crosshairs of Chief Keef and his gang.
Lil Jojo’s death was believed to be the culmination of a running dispute between Coleman, Chief Keef and a gang banger/rapper named Lil Reese (pictured above).
Fast forward to Thursday, when a cell phone video showing a woman being savagely beaten by a rapper went viral online.
The rapper, it turns out, is the same Lil Reese who was under investigation for gunning down Lil Jojo.
In the video, Lil Reese and his GBE associates barged their way into a house party. “Who the f*ck let them in here in the first place?” the woman guarding the door asks. Words are exchanged and Reese threatens to shoot her. “They didn’t stop making guns when they made yours!” she responds.
An altercation ensued and Lil Reese hit the woman with a ferocity that was astonishing in its brutality.
The year old video surfaced on World Star Hip Hop yesterday, and social networking users who are normally immune to such violence against females responded with outrage.
Lil Reese was unmoved by the public indignation. Instead, like a typical sociopath, he directed his anger at the person who sent the video to Worldstar.
“The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-t from years ago damnn we winnin it’s 2 late,” he wrote Thursday.
Ironically, Lil Reese is signed to Def Jam — the same record label that Rihanna is signed to, and the same record label that launched the career of rapper LL Cool J, who released an album titled Mama Said Knock You Out.
Mom turns in sons who murdered 12-year-old girl after reading a message on one son’s Facebook
Social networking giant Facebook played a role in catching the teenage killers of 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale. The mother of Justin and Dante Robinson alerted police after she read a message about Autumn on one son’s Facebook page. It isn’t clear what the message said.
Another Facebook message — this one from Autumn’s older brother, A.J. read: ‘I know u wont see this but I’m just letting u know that I am coming for u next time I see ur face or ur brother donte. I’m kicking ur asses.’
Police say Dante, 17, (left) and Justin, 15, (right) lured Autumn to their New Jersey home on Saturday under the pretense that they were trading BMX bike parts, Philly.com reports.
An autopsy revealed Autumn was beaten and strangled. She died from blunt force trauma to the head. There was no evidence of sexual assault.
Autumn’s body was recovered Monday in a blue recycling bin that was set out on the curb and scheduled for trash pick up on Tuesday.
Police obtained a warrant and searched the home of Dante and Justin. Police found Autumn’s BMX bike parts and the white BMX bike she was last seen riding around 12:30 p.m.
News of Autumn’s tragic death shook the residents of Clayton, New Jersey, who formed massive search parties and held candlelight vigils for the slain youngster when she was reported missing.
The two boys have been charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder, disposing of a body, tampering with evidence and theft. They are being held without bond in a juvenile detention facility.
Woman runs over non-voting husband because Obama won election
A woman enraged that her husband didn’t vote in last week’s presidential elections, ran over him with the family Jeep on Saturday.
Witnesses told police that Holly Solomon, of Scottsdale, Arizona, chased her husband around a parking lot before gunning the gas and hitting him as the Jeep jumped a curb.
Solomon apparently believed her husband’s vote was the deciding factor in the close race.
From Politico.com:
Holly Solomon, 28, and her husband Daniel, 36, got into an argument on Saturday night over his failure to vote, news reports say. She then chased him around a parking lot in the Jeep, screaming, before hitting him as a he tried to run to a bigger street, witnesses told police, according to the report.
“The husband told investigators that Solomon believed her family was going to face hardship from President Barack Obama’s re-election,” CBS News reported.
He is in critical condition at a Scottsdale, Ariz. medical center, while she “was booked on an aggravated assault and domestic violence,” the report said.
