50 Cent & Meek Mill Respond To Summer Jam's "Chain Snatching"

50 Cent

Since Slowbuck’s chain was taken at Hot 97’s Summer Jam 2014 concert, the CEO of the brand, fired accusations at 50 Cent, leading to continuous dispute over his involvement in the situation.

50 responded to such allegations by calling out Slowbuck during G-Unit’s reunion concert, telling the crowd, “I want everyone to get home safe, because there’s so much police in here courtesy of Slowbucks.”

Further disses were thrown across Instagram through videos and comments, while the recent “0-300 Real Shit” track released by Slowbucks shows the beef is only being entertained. Holding the view that 50 had a plan to damage the brand, this argument seems endless.

Escalating from this matter, former Dreamchaser’s Louie V Gutta, who had $40,000 worth of his jewellery taken at gunpoint, late September, has taken the chance to attack Philly’s Meek Mill.

Meek’s Twitter response was not taken lightly which read, “Slow got the chain back, you got to chill bro, you drawing!” as a reply to Gutta’s comment, “What goes around comes around…karma.”

This kicked off the whole disagreement and both artists have now covered Drake’s “0-100” record going in at each other.

Gutta also took this opportunity to have his say on the earlier event. "New York nigga got his chain snatched. Strong arm, no gun, can you explain that? At Summer Jam with all his friends with fame at and you was there too Meek…go get his chain back."

50 Cent Says Floyd Mayweather Owes Him $2 Million

50 Cent Says Floyd Mayweather Owes Him $2 Million
50 Cent says that his beef with Floyd Mayweather began over a $2 million debt.
While 50 Cent is hardly a stranger to beef, perhaps his most surprising feud in recent history involves his former friend and TMT Promotions partner Floyd Mayweather. Now, in a recent interview with Power 106 FM, Fif reveals the origins of his beef with the famed boxer.
According to Fif, the feud began over a $2 million debt Mayweather owes to Fiddy for starting their TMT Promotions company prior to Mayweather's recent prison sentence. Fif explained that after his release from jail, Mayweather neglected his debt to the rapper and instead spent his fortune on jewelry and cars. Eventually, tensions boiled over and Mayweather lashed out at the rapper on Twitter at the behest of his entourage.
"[Mayweather] changed his mind…as he was actually going in to jail, he asked me to help him with Mayweather Promotions," Fif recalled. "As he actually got in and I took a look, I realized there is no Mayweather Promotions: there's no LLC, there's no seals, there's no 'incorporated'…technically, Floyd is a Golden Boy fighter [for Oscar De La Hoya's promotion firm]. He fights on every Golden Boy card, they do all the footwork…so when he says, 'Help me with Mayweather Promotions,' and it's not there, I go, 'Okay, I know what he means: he wants me to put it together for him.' So I do TMT Promotions, I get it all the way together…he comes home, and there's the, 'Let's get Floyd back in pocket' campaign that goes on, where there's $300,000 chains being bought and buying him the new Lambourghini…and I'm sitting there going, 'When are you going to give me the money?'…It's about [$2 million owed] at that point. When he finally does bring up the actual situation, he acted like he didn't know anything. Like, 'I didn't tell y'all to do that.'"
He added, "That's not Floyd [on Twitter or Instagram dissing me]; Floyd don't Tweet…he's got somebody next to him. See, everybody around him is co-dependent, so they gonna roll with what he says regardless…they'll tell him what to say. As soon as he gets confused, he's gonna go, 'Okay, okay, um, just call out [50 Cent].'"

Pauly D Joins 50 Cent's SK Energy Movement

50 Cent isn't the only celebrity willing to put his energy into feeding the hungry. Fif's label buddy DJ Pauly D has joined forces with the multiplatinum rap star to promote his SK Energy drink as a brand advocate and investor.
"I love the energy of SK, it's perfect for someone like me," the "Jersey Shore" star said in a press release issued exclusively to MTV News. "But what really got me involved was hearing about the SK movement, and how every shot sold provides a meal to a hungry child in some of the world's most difficult environments. I've been so blessed in my own career, and an opportunity to fight extreme poverty — in such a simple way — is something I really wanted to be part of."
SK Energy was launched in 2011 and promises to provide a boost of energy without the crash that comes with rival beverages. What really sets the drink apart, however, is 50's pledge to provide a meal for a hungry child through the UN World Food Programme. To date, SK Energy has provided more than 3.5 million meals.
"When Curtis and I sat down with Pauly, he told us how much he loved SK Energy Shots — the product and the mission behind it. It was obvious we needed to bring him on board to develop a deeper relationship with the brand," Chris Clarke, 50's partner in SK, said in the press release.
In March, MTV News caught up with 50 while on the set of SK's first commercial, co-starring Joan Rivers. It was there that Fif explained the motivation behind his movement. "When I developed the concept for this actual project, we thought about my experiences traveling in Africa," he explained. "And I wanted to do something 'cause of how bad famine is in Africa. So we partnered with United Nations World Food Programme in order to provide a meal with every actual energy drink. So I'm excited about that."
Pauly D is signed to 50's G-Note record label.

50 Cent Talks New Album, Explains Why G-Unit Was Dropped & Possibility Of Working With Game

50 Cent speaks on a slew of topics, including G-Unit's departure from Interscope and whether he and Game will ever work on a track together.
In an interview with Bootleg Kev on Las Vegas' Hot 97.5, 50 Cent discussed his upcoming album, which is set to drop July 2.
"My project is pretty much done, but I'm not done writing," said 50 of the project.
50 also explained that he wouldn't be going for a vintage sound on the album. "When you say 'take it back,' you're not leaving any room for growth. You're staying 'Stay where you were ten years ago.' For me, it has that energy that they were attracted to on Get Rich or Die Tryin', all across the board. I just think the way I articulated things on this project, my choices, are better. I think I'm better. I'm thinkin' it out a little more. They'll get a chance to see where I am."
Among the topics 50 discussed was why Interscope Records dropped G-Unit Records. "The reason why G-Unit was dropped, so that the general public understands: the reason G-Unit was dropped from Interscope records was because the deal I gave them was so well-put-together for them that they were to receive $750,000 in advance on the next albums - each one of the artists. They gotta remove that in this climate of record sales."
Finally, 50 was asked whether there was even a remote chance that he and Game would ever collaborate on anything in the future. The Queens emcee was noncommittal: "I don't know. Let me see if this is just one of my character defects or not: when you said [Game's album The Documentary] was crazy, you're making reference to things I wrote," he explained. "Meaning, the first three singles off of that were things that I wrote. So now, when you look at that, and you look at all the disrespect that was displayed over the years, ask yourself - would you be inherently uncomfortable with the concept of associating yourself again with someone where...you don't even know where it came from. If I did something wrong, I can accept it. ...But if I didn't do anything at all and it turns into what that turned into, I'ma just stay away from it.
