Man accused of trying to rape 62-year-old woman in Chinatown, behind bars after spotted urinating on car

A sicko accused of trying to rape a 62-year-old woman in Chinatown was behind bars Saturday after two keen-eyed cops spotted him urinating on a car, officials said.
Rubicel Sanchez, 31, who wore a leather jacket with a Batman’s logo on the front during the attack, was apprehended about 9:15 p.m. Friday on East Broadway, officials said.

Sanchez, who is homeless, attacked the woman in the lobby of her apartment building about 1 a.m. Friday, officials said. His victim managed to fend off Sanchez, who fled the scene, cops said.When the NYPD distributed surveillance photos of the suspect, Police Officers Daniel Roth and Frank Faber recognized him from an encounter a week earlier on Madison St. near Market St. Sanchez had been so drunk that the two cops called an ambulance for him, but he ran off, police said.When Sanchez was seen urinating on a car Friday night, Roth and Faber arrested him for the sex crime. He was no longer wearing the Batman jacket he had on during the attack, police sources said.Sanchez was charged with attempted rape, burglary and sex abuse, officials said. His arraignment was pending Saturday.Officer Faber graduated from the NYPD Police Academy in June, officials said. Officer Roth was Faber’s training officer and has been showing him the ropes, cops said.
