Manchester City stars Sergio Aguero and Toni Duggan dating, according to Argentine TV

All smiles: Duggan and Aguero are believed to have a close bond

Sergio Aguero could be hooking up with fellow Manchester City star Toni Duggan.

An Argentine television show has reported that the Premier League hit man is dating England international Duggan, who plays for City's Women's side.

Aguero and Duggan both sit as top goalscorer for their respective City teams.

Earlier this year, Aguero ended his relationship with South American singer Karina Tejeda and it has now been claimed that he has looked closer to his adopted home for his new love.

An Argentine TV chat show showed off a collection of pictures of Duggan, before showing a picture of the pair together at the club's training ground.

The presenters seemed very keen to link the pair with one another - and appeared to give Duggan a big thumbs up as her picture was shown on screen.

Aguero is currently out of action and remains on course for a return in November, after picking up a hamstring injury while on international duty.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini issued the update on his condition ahead of City's Capital One Cup clash with Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

"Sergio is improving from his injury," said Pellegrini. "But he has some time more to be a 100 per cent.

"The injury at the moment is exactly the same situation as the last games. Obviously Gael Clichy, Fabian Delph, Samir Nasri and Sergio Aguero are missing."
