Great Men Who Died for Christianity (William Tyndale )

479 years ago William Tyndale was burned at the stake by the ruling church in Europe. His crime was translating the Scriptures into English so that the common man, even a plough boy could read it in English instead of a language "Latin" that they didn't know.

The ruling church at the time chained their Bibles to their pulpits and upon threat of death, no one could own their own Bible. This is how they tried to control people from knowing truth.
Praise God for Christian hero's who were willing to die to get the Scriptures into the hands of everyone and in a language they understood.
William Tyndale translated 75% of the Bible into English before his martyrdom.
