Britain? The obnoxious wealthy heirs and heiresses who love to flash their cash on Rich Kids app that costs £890 a month to 'flush out the fakes from real milionaires' and has now been banned by Apple

Her 66,000 Instagram followers can ogle photos of Julia clutching a £1,800 bottle of Armand de Brignac Brut Gold

You've heard of the Rich Kids of Instagram: those spoiled twenty somethings who love nothing more than flaunting their wealth online.
Then there is the Rich Kids app, an exclusive club where some of the 25,000 members pay £890 a month to post their self-obsessed pictures, in a bid to weed out fake heirs.
It’s just been banned by Apple for violating its terms — to its narcissistic stars’ frustration.
So just who are these obnoxious rich kids? Sarah Rainey holds her nose and takes a look.

Property tycoon who's rarely in the office
Emir Bahadir lases on an inflatable animal in a pool
Emir Bahadir lases on an inflatable animal in a pool
Turkish-born Emir Bahadir’s name translates literally to ‘Prince’ — and the 25-year-old certainly lives like one. Whether lounging in a pool in St Tropez (inset) or grinning on board his mahogany-panelled private jet (main picture), his 319,000 followers are regularly treated to glimpses of his gilded existence.
Emir, who attended the £60,000-a-year American School in Switzerland, and studied business at New York University before moving to London, is heir to a generations-old Turkish property empire and owns a £2.8 million apartment in Manhattan. He is also co-founder of a property brokerage whose offerings include a £77 million premises on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
A visit to his Instagram site, however, shows Emir is rarely in the office. He’s more likely to be found in a helicopter over Cannes, attending a gala in Miami or relaxing on a yacht surrounded by a gaggle of bikini-clad beauties.

12 year old boy prosecuted for raping sister after getting addicted to hardcore porn

A young boy aged 12 years has pleaded to 6 counts of rape in court after getting hooked to porn and raping his younger sister.

He has been ordered by the judge to seek help after he told his sister if she didn’t have sex with him “she wouldn’t be his sister anymore”. According to the court in Cheltenham, the boy had searched items on the internet like 'incest' and even told them that the act was consensual.

He was sentenced to 12 months referral order and ordered not to have contact with anyone younger than 16 – his sister - inclusive while his internet use will also be monitored.

His solicitor Gareth James, told the court that the offence was “experimentation of a sort, albeit completely inappropriate.”

The incident happened in 2014 and the boy who's now 14, will be monitored by police until he's 19.
The court has banned the media from publishing the boy's names or sharing his photos.

'I'm with her. She's with us': Democratic all-stars come out for massive Hillary Clinton rally on eve of election

Michelle Obama Bill Clinton
An all-star roster came out for one of the last campaign rallies in support of Hillary Clinton on the eve of Election Day.
Bruce Springsteen, opened the Monday night event, singing to a crowd of at least 20,000 supporters in Philadelphia.
The legendary musician riffed on the Democratic nominee's candidacy in between songs.
"Let's all do our part so we can look back on 2016 and say we stood with Hillary Clinton on the right side of history," Springsteen said to raucous cheers from the crowd.
After Springsteen's performance, the crowd alternated between chants of "I'm with her. She's with us."
Chelsea Clinton and Bill Clinton took the stage after, with the former president noting the symbolic venue.
"This country began here," Clinton said, declaring that on Election Day, Americans will have another chance "to form a more perfect union."

NATO puts 300,000 troops on 'high alert' in readiness for a confrontation with Russia as fears grow Putin is preparing to attack the West

Nato chiefs, thrown into a panic by fears that Russian President Vladimir Putin might attack the West, are scrambling to put together a force of 300,000 troops which they can put on 'high alert'.
Relations between Russia and the West have plunged in the last year, with Moscow's insistence on backing its Syrian ally, President Bashar al-Assad, at all costs leading to serious tension with the US, Britain and France.
Most Nato members cut their defence spending dramatically since the Soviet Union collapsed in 1991 but Russia has been bolstering its military capabilities, holding parades involving more than 100,000 troops each year.

Moscow has been throwing its weight around in recent years - in 2008 Russian troops humiliated the Georgians and in turn the White House by invading South Ossetia and Abkhazia in support of pro-Moscow rebels.
Then in 2014 Russia annexed Crimea and supported ethnic Russian rebels in the eastern Ukraine.
President Obama's 'Russian reset' policy, which was designed to improve relations with Moscow, has looked increasingly like a policy of appeasement.

Russia's President Putin (left, with outgoing President Obama, during a recent meeting in China) has massively increased Russian military spending and anti-Western rhetoric

Early voting statistics update: Battlegrounds tight with 30 million ballots cast

Democrats are building an early voting lead in North Carolina and Nevada, but Republicans maintain an edge in Florida and Ohio, according to a CNN analysis.
With five days to go, registered Republicans also lead Democrats in early voting in Arizona, while Democrats are also ahead in Colorado and Iowa.
More than 30 million votes have been cast already across 38 states with early voting. And with five days to go, both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are encouraging their supporters to hit the polls early. So far, about 7.4 million registered Democrats and about 6.4 million Republicans have done just that.
CNN has partnered with Catalist, a data company that works with progressive candidates and groups, to receive detailed early vote return information this year. Catalist's voter list connects returned ballots with demographic and registration information, such as party registration, gender and age, and allows a closer look at who has already cast a vote.
These are not results -- ballots aren't counted until Election Day. But the findings provide clues on who is voting and which party is turning out to vote. And in states that track party affiliation, it's important to remember that not all Democrats are voting for Clinton, and not all Republicans support Trump.
Here's a look at the early voting data from several battleground states:

FUNMILAYO RANSOME-KUTI: THE LIONESS OF LISABI, NIGERIA`S FOREMOST SUFFRAGIST, WOMEN`S RIGHT ACTIVIST AND THE MOTHER OF FELA ANIKULAPO-KUTI

“Alake, for a long time you have used your penis as a mark of authority that you are our husband. Today we shall reverse the order and use our vagina to play the role of husband.” Funmilayo Ransome-Kuti and her AWU members song that saw the Oba Ademola II, Alake of Egbaland abdicating over arbitrary taxation.
Funmilayo Ransome Kuti , the celebrated women`s right activist, Suffragist and the mother of the King of Afrobeat, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti

Funmilayo Ransome Kuti (25 October 1900 Abeokuta, Nigeria - 13 April 1978 Lagos, Nigeria) popularly known as FRK was a celebrated women`s right activist of her time. This hard core lady, prolific woman nationalist and representative of the feminist cause in her country and internationally started her powerful fight for suffrage and equal rights for her countrywomen long before the second wave of the women's movement in the United States. She was also a teacher, political campaigner, and traditional aristocrat. She served with distinction as one of the most prominent leaders of her generation. Mrs Ransome-Kuti was the first woman in Nigeria to drive car.

As a result of her unique political activism, Ransome-Kuti has been described as "the doyen of female rights in Nigeria."  Others regard her as "The Mother of Africa."  She was described in 1947, by the West African Pilot as the "Lioness of Lisabi" for her leadership of the women of the Egba clan that she belonged to on a campaign against their arbitrary taxation. That struggle led to the abdication of the Egba high king Oba Ademola II in 1949. It must be emphasized here that Kuti`s heritage can be traced back to her great grandmother Sarah Taiwo, also known as the ‘Lioness of Lisabi’, a title stemming from her escape from slavery and an assertiveness with which she influenced her community in Abeokuta in western Nigeria.
Given this background it was perhaps a natural evolution that Kuti herself would develop into an activist whose life circled around the struggle for suffrage and equal rights for women.

Kuti was the mother of the world`s celebrated musician, King of Afrobeats and political activists Fela Anikulapo Kuti,  Beko Ransome-Kuti, a renowned medical practitioner, and Professor Olikoye Ransome-Kuti, a doctor and a former health minister of Nigeria. She was also grandmother to ace musicians Seun Kuti and Femi Kuti.

Absolutely terrifying, right?

City attorney sues Millennium developer — says buyers duped

(l-r) Andrew Mead, Will Halai and Malakai Fakalolo use a Fraste machine while doing tests outside the Millennium Tower, a residential building which is leaning, in San Francisco, California, on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016.
City Attorney Dennis Herrera sued the developer of the sinking Millennium condominium tower Thursday, alleging the builder violated the law by failing to disclose the building’s settlement issues despite knowing of the problem more than a year before the units came to market.
Herrera’s lawsuit, a cross-complaint of a previous lawsuit filed by building homeowners against the Transbay Joint Powers Authority, which is building the new Transbay Transit Center next door, alleges developer Millennium Partners knew by 2008 — a year before it started selling condominiums — that the building had sunk almost six inches, well in excess of projections.
Millennium Partners had a legal obligation to tell prospective buyers about the sinking, Herrera said. In not doing so, the developer gained an unfair advantage over other developers it was competing against for sales. The lack of information also put buyers at an unfair disadvantage as they weighed the pros and cons of investing in the tower. Essentially, Millennium Tower buyers were sold a lemon, Herrera said.
Engineer and consultant Patrick Shires, of Cotton Shires and Associates, gives an interview regarding the investigation of Millennium Tower, a residential building which is leaning, in San Francisco, California, on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016.

m not a monster’: A teen horror blogger explains why she killed her parents

Ashlee Martinson is escorted to an initial hearing March 10, 2015, in Lebanon, Ind.

In prison, 18-year-old Ashlee Martinson said she feels freer than she did at home in Wisconsin.
It was there, she said, that a lifetime of physical, sexual and psychological abuse culminated into one horrific moment last year — the moment she fatally shot her stepfather, Thomas Ayers, 37, and fatally stabbed her mother, Jennifer Ayers, 40, more than 30 times. Then she locked her three younger siblings in a bedroom in their home in the tiny town of Piehl, in northern Wisconsin, and ran, police said.
Following a multistate manhunt, police arrested Martinson in Indiana, where she fled with her boyfriend. In March, she ultimately pleaded guilty to second-degree homicide and is serving 23 years in prison.
“I’m happy,” Martinson said during an exclusive interview with Crime Watch Daily, which aired Tuesday. “I know that sounds crazy, because I’m in prison, but I feel like I’m free. I can wake up every day and know that I am safe.”
Seemingly for the first time since she was sent to prison, Martinson is telling her own story — one about a teenage girl, abused for years by her mother’s boyfriends as her mother stood by them.
“I’m not a monster,” she told Crime Watch Daily. “I never meant any of this to happen. It doesn’t make it right, what happened. But I was just a girl, an abused girl, who was forced to make a really bad decision.
“I’m not the monster that they portrayed me to be.”
Accounts from Martinson and professionals who interviewed her after the incident portray a teenage girl who, after years of alleged abuse, suffered severe depression and post-traumatic stress disorder, The Washington Post reported earlier this year.
Her online presence, it seems, revealed the darker side.
Martinson, who went by the pseudonym “Vampchick” on her blog titled Nightmare, purportedly posted a poem days before her parents’ deaths about torturing and killing people, according to People.
“I clean the dry blood off my tools from a previous session,” she wrote in a poem called “Unworthy,” according the Daily Mail. “The last body has been disposed of just hours before, yet I have not been satisfied with the pain, agony and blood.
“I bend down as they start to wake.
” ‘Welcome to hell.’ I whisper in her ear. ‘Never again will you see the light of day.’ ”
Authorities confirmed last year that the blog that had been linked to Martinson was indeed associated with her; but they did not know whether the content posted under the pseudonym “Vampchick” was her original work.
The blog has since been taken offline.

Obama says FBI investigations shouldn’t ‘operate on innuendo’

President Obama defended Hillary Clinton’s “integrity” as she faces a renewed FBI investigation of emails sent from her private server.
In a NowThis News interview released Wednesday, the president ducked a question about whether he was upset that FBI Director James Comey had announced the new twist in the long-running probe so close to Election Day. However, he did say the FBI should not operate on innuendo.
“I do think that there is a norm that when there are investigations, we don’t operate on innuendo, and we don’t operate on incomplete information, and we don’t operate on leaks,” he said. “We operate based on concrete decisions that are made.”
Obama pointed to Comey’s conclusion in July, following months of investigation into whether Clinton or her aides mishandled classified information, that he would not recommend bringing charges. But in a cryptic letter to Congress last Friday, Comey said new emails, reportedly found on a computer used by her aide Huma Abedin, would be investigated.
“When this was investigated thoroughly last time, the conclusion of the FBI, the conclusion of the Justice Department, the conclusion of repeated congressional investigations was she had made some mistakes but that there wasn’t anything there that was prosecutable,” Obama said.
