You've heard of the Rich Kids of Instagram: those spoiled twenty somethings who love nothing more than flaunting their wealth online.
Then there is the Rich Kids app, an exclusive club where some of the 25,000 members pay £890 a month to post their self-obsessed pictures, in a bid to weed out fake heirs.
It’s just been banned by Apple for violating its terms — to its narcissistic stars’ frustration.
So just who are these obnoxious rich kids? Sarah Rainey holds her nose and takes a look.
Property tycoon who's rarely in the office
Emir Bahadir lases on an inflatable animal in a pool
Turkish-born Emir Bahadir’s name translates literally to ‘Prince’ — and the 25-year-old certainly lives like one. Whether lounging in a pool in St Tropez (inset) or grinning on board his mahogany-panelled private jet (main picture), his 319,000 followers are regularly treated to glimpses of his gilded existence.
Emir, who attended the £60,000-a-year American School in Switzerland, and studied business at New York University before moving to London, is heir to a generations-old Turkish property empire and owns a £2.8 million apartment in Manhattan. He is also co-founder of a property brokerage whose offerings include a £77 million premises on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
A visit to his Instagram site, however, shows Emir is rarely in the office. He’s more likely to be found in a helicopter over Cannes, attending a gala in Miami or relaxing on a yacht surrounded by a gaggle of bikini-clad beauties.

Julia, who has spent £180,000 on facial fillers, lip injections and teeth whitening, has a personal trainer and nutritionist. She flies to Moscow to have her hair cut — ‘I book the whole salon so it can be free when I arrive’ — and has five staff to promote her image.

Lana Scolaro, 21, loves the limelight and was educated at Mill Hill School in North London
Whether draped across the bonnet of a gold Bentley or cavorting on a rooftop in a black bra, Lana Scolaro, 21, clearly loves the limelight.
Born to an English mother and Italian father, Lana was educated at Mill Hill School in North London. She was offered a place at a design school in New York, but socialising proved to be more fun.
Her upbringing was anything but ordinary: her father, who made millions as a mining entrepreneur, gave Lana and her sisters Stephy, 23, and Lydia, 15, everything they wanted. She travels by private jet, owns a £25,000 Hermes Birkin handbag and admits to spending £15,000 a month on clothes.

Lana uploads pictures to her Instagram account several times a day, giving her 63,000 followers glimpses of her over-the- top party lifestyle.
Recent images show her carrying her pet dog, Fifi, onto a private jet, posing in a racy pink bikini and sitting in the front row at a Dolce & Gabbana fashion show.
She’s also uploaded an image of a blonde woman in just her underwear lying in a bath of dollar bills with the caption: ‘Where do you see yourself in a few years?’
When she’s not pouting up a storm, Lana has a fledgling jewellery line — LS Diamonds — which includes a black diamond bracelet decorated with a tiny silver gun, costing £795.
She has also pictured herself draped across the bonnet of a gold Bentley
