Drugs, violence, and prostitution: It's just another day at Clark County Jail in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Participants on the A&E documentary series "60 Days In" experienced these shocking realities firsthand.

The show follows seven undercover inmates who spent two months in the jail to expose problems within the system.

The participants — who were booked under false charges and assumed false identities throughout their stays — lived among the jail's 500-inmate population without corrections officers or other inmates discovering their secret.

At the end of their two months, the participants informed Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel of the inner workings of jail life, like how inmates were inventing drugs with household materials and where they were stashing homemade weapons. They also revealed the psychological toll the deplorable living conditions took on them.

A&E has already completed filming the show's second season, which will premier in August. The final episode of season 1, a reunion special, airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST.

Rapper arrested for T.I. concert shooting that left one dead as terrifying footage emerges

Rapper Troy Ave has been charged with attempted murder and possession of a gun, in relation to the shooting on Wednesday night at T.I.'s concert in New York.

The shooting left one person dead and two others injured.

The 30-year-old rapper, whose real name is Roland Collins, could be facing a murder charge once the investigation has been completed, according to the New York Daily News.

During the shooting at Irving Plaza in Manhattan, Collins is said to have accidentally shot himself in the leg.

Collins was on the bill to perform at the show, which was due to be headlined by Whatever You Like rapper T.I.It has been claimed that Collins was fighting with rapper rival Maino, who had just come off stage when Collins is alleged to have fired off up to five gunshots in the green room, insiders told the newspaper.

Suspect arrested in death of ex-coal chief executive

Ohio man fatally shot a former coal company executive at a cemetery where the businessman's wife is buried and has been arrested on a first-degree murder warrant, a sheriff said Tuesday.

A second man has also been charged as an accessory.

Authorities said Anthony R. Arriaga of Delphos, Ohio, shot Bennett K. Hatfield on Monday at Mountain View Memory Gardens, a cemetery in southern West Virginia's Mingo County.

Hatfield, 59, resigned in 2015 as president and CEO of Patriot Coal, a month before the company filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time. He was International Coal Group's CEO when a 2006 explosion at the Sago Mine in northern West Virginia killed 12 miners.

Mingo County Sheriff James Smith didn't immediately release a motive in Bennett's death. He said state police dogs found a weapon along a river bank next to the cemetery.

Arriaga waived his right to an extradition hearing Tuesday in municipal court in Lima, Ohio, said court Chief Deputy Clerk Brenda Benedict. Bond was set at $1 million.

Allen County, Ohio, Sheriff Sam Crish said West Virginia authorities were expected to transport Arriaga back to face charges.

Authorities believe Arriaga sneaked along the river bank after the shooting and asked some neighbors to take him to Wayne County, Smith said. A man who drove Arriaga contacted authorities after hearing about Hatfield's death.

"Once he heard what was going on, he let us know he gave this subject a ride to Wayne County," Smith said.

A state police team helped track the suspect to Wayne County and eventually into Ohio.

Smith said authorities had been stumped until the neighbor stepped forward.

"We were totally lost," Smith said. "Him catching that ride helped us."

Arriaga stopped at a man's house in Wayne County, along the state's western border with Kentucky and Ohio, before moving on to Ohio, authorities.

The man, Ricky Dean Peterson, 20, told a state trooper he had no knowledge about Arriaga or Hatfield's death, authorities said. Two others at the residence told a trooper that Arriaga had been there and spoke with Peterson.

‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle exaggerated medal count, records reveal

Newly published documents reveal that “American Sniper” Chris Kyle was not part of the elite group of U.S. fighters to earn one of the nation’s top three combat medals on more than one occasion during the global war on terrorism, as he claimed in his bestselling autobiography.

Kyle, a former Navy SEAL who was murdered by a disturbed fellow veteran in 2013, wrote that he had received two Silver Stars and five Bronze Stars. The Silver Star, the third-highest combat decoration, is awarded for gallantry in action. Being recognized for exhibiting the highest levels of battlefield heroism more than once is rare.

“Receiving two Silver Stars would have put him in a very unique and small group,” said Doug Sterner, a Vietnam veteran and author of “Restoring Valor: One Couple’s Mission to Expose Fraudulent War Heroes and Protect America’s Military Awards System.”

According to sketchy reports, his corpse was found in a well -with no one in the area being able to identify him or say how he got there. Amber Heard files for divorce from Johnny Depp, days after his mother’s death: report

The 52-year-old actor will be heading to Splitsville again as his wife Amber Heard has filed for divorce after 15 months of marriage, according to court documents obtained by the Daily News. 

The 30-year-old actress reportedly signed her divorce petition on Monday —three days after the death of the actor’s mother, Betty Sue Palmer.

Heard, who listed the separation date as May 22, cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking spousal support.

Sources told TMZ the once blissful couple did not have a prenup. Depp resonded by filing paperwork, asking for Heard's financial request to be dismissed, according to the gossip site.

A depraved Idaho dad forced his 14-year-old daughter to marry her 24-year-old rapist.

Keith Strawn was sentenced to four months in prison after telling the judge: "If you get them pregnant then you marry them,” Fox 31 reported.

“While you spend those 120 day in jail, perhaps you will think about the 120 days your daughter was in a vile farce of a marriage to a rapist,” District Judge Greg Moeller said during Tuesday's sentencing, according to the station.

Last year Strawn took his teen daughter and her attacker, Aaron Seaton, to Missouri to get married. Seaton is now serving a 15-year sentence after pleading guilty to rape earlier this year.

Retired NYPD cop accused of running prostitution ring busted for alleged stolen gun

A retired NYPD cop indicted on federal charges for running a prostitution ring was held on $100,000 bond Wednesday by a criminal court judge for a stolen gun found at his home.

Michael Rizzi, 44, was busted on Tuesday by federal prosecutors for conducting an online escort service where the girls billed clients up to $2,000 per hour.

During a search at his Bensonhurst home by Homeland Security, agents found an unloaded .32-caliber Rohm revolver in a desk drawer and a slew of gun cartridges for a Glock .38-mm and a .9-mm in the bedroom and buffet table in the dining room, according to the criminal complaint.

"The firearm came up stolen. The owner was not found and the defendant doesn't have a permit," said Assistant District Attorney Wilfredo Cotto in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Wednesday.

After Rizzi's family put up their home to post $500,000 bond and get him out of federal custody, he was collared by his former employer, the NYPD.

Woman begs High Court to allow her to use dead daughter's eggs to give birth to her own grandchild

A woman who wants to use her daughter’s frozen eggs to give birth to her own grandchild has appealed to leading judges to allow her to carry out the dying wishes of her “much-loved and only child”.

The 60-year-old, whose daughter died of cancer in 2011, lost an action at the High Court last year, but is now asking three Court of Appeal judges to rule in her favour.

Her QC, Jenni Richards, told the judges on Wednesday that the woman wants to fulfil her daughter’s wishes that her mother should carry a child created from her frozen eggs “and raise that child”.

Ms Richards said that if the court did not overturn the High Court’s ruling, the “inevitable” consequence would be that the eggs “will simply be allowed to perish”.

The woman and her 59-year-old husband are challenging the decision of Mr Justice Ouseley last June to dismiss their case.

Personal terms have been agreed between Mourinho and United, with lawyers now scrutinising the finer details of the three-year agreement.

It is understood the issue of intellectual property rights, in particular the Blues' ownership of the copyright of Mourinho's signature, is causing the hitch.

United, however, remain relaxed about that hurdle in their negotiations with Mendes and expect to announce Mourinho, 53, as Louis van Gaal's successor on Thursday.

Mourinho's first game in charge of United will be a pre-season friendly against Borussia Dortmund in Shanghai on July 22, before renewing his fierce rivalry withPep Guardiola against Manchester City in Beijing on July 25.
