UK Teen girl shares injuries after her boyfriend bites her lip in violent attack

The pic above shows the horrific injuries a teenage girl suffered after her jealous boyfriend bit her lip during a violent attack. 18 year old Chantelle Ward said her boyfriend, 23 year old Rhys Culley sank his teeth into her flesh during a kiss after asking her if she loved him.

Chantelle said Rhys was jealous and insecure and attacked her after a fight about Facebook. Continue

Jurors at Newcastle Crown Court saw pictures of angry teeth marks in Miss Ward's upper lip after the attack, during which he smeared her own blood around her face and forced his tongue in her mouth.

Culley, who had been in a relationship with Miss Ward for over two years, denied wounding with intent but was found guilty after a trial. He will be sentenced next month and has now been remanded in custody.

Jurors heard Culley bit down on  the victim's lip with the same force that would be needed to bite through a 1cm thick piece of rubber.

As well as the gruesome "very deep" injury to her mouth, Miss Ward had bruising and scratches to her head and body after the attack, which started after a row about Facebook.

Miss Ward told jurors during the trial Culley (pictured above) had tried to kiss her and asked her if she still loved him before the bite.

She said: "He put his whole mouth around my lips and pulled, I thought that my whole lip had come off. There was blood everywhere."

The court heard trouble had flared at Miss Ward's home after a night out, when he chased her from room to room and attacked her. Culley kicked and punched Miss Ward, pulled her hair, threw her into furniture and chucked things at her before finally launching the frenzied facial attack.

The attack happened on February 22 this year, after the young couple had been out at the County Public House in South Shields. They had been celebrating Miss Ward's mother's birthday and at about 10.30pm Miss Ward, the defendant and her aunt Susan Stewart shared a taxi home, dropping her aunt off first.

When the defendant and his girlfriend got back to her house, the mood of the night changed. The defendant brought up a conversation that his girlfriend had had with another man on Facebook earlier in the month.

The defendant then took Miss Ward's phone off her in a bid to look through her Facebook messages.

The court heard how when he found that the messages were no longer there he became angry and started to shout at Miss Ward accusing her of having something to hide.

At this point, Miss Ward told the court, she realized that something was wrong and that this wasn't a 'normal' argument for the pair, who had been together for almost two and a half years.

She became scared and lifted her phone to call the defendant's mother to ask him to come and get him. But Culley is said to have taken the phone from his victim, he also locked the doors so that she couldn't escape.

Later, when her phone was left unattended she made an emergency call but Culley again took the phone from her. After Culley had bitten his victim, he "rubbed his face in hers, smearing the blood across her face and then he stuck his tongue into her mouth.

"When the police arrived they saw that they both had blood on them and over their faces."

Culley was arrested and Miss Ward was taken to hospital to have her injuries examined.
She suffered not only the injuries to her mouth, but bruising to her arms and body, a scratch to her left breast, bruising of the face and ear.

During his evidence Culley said he did not mean to harm his "beautiful" girlfriend, who he knew he was lucky to have.

First Photos Of Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt On Their Wedding Day

The first photo of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt during their intimate Aug. 23 ceremony – attended by just 20 friends and family members –has been released by People Magazine.
The ceremony was held in the chapel of Château Miraval, the family's estate in the French village of Correns.
Each child had a key role to play: Eldest sons Maddox, 13, and Pax, 10, walked their mom down the aisle; flower girls Zahara, 9, and Vivienne, 6, tossed petals gathered from the garden; and Shiloh, 8, and Knox, 6, served as ring bearers. The kids also helped write their parents' vows. And oh, Pax baked the cake!

"It was important to us that the day was relaxed and full of laughter," Pitt, 50, and Jolie, 39, tell PEOPLE.

 "It was such a special day to share with our children and a very happy time for our family." 

Her dress was custom made, created by Atelier Versace master tailor Luigi Massi.

The gown featured a fitted bodice with simple thin straps, the bust complete with ruching, with a plain waist, kicking out into a flowy full skirt.

Luigi then hand-sewed a number of the children's designs onto both the back of the dress and the full-length veil.

'Luigi is like family to me and I couldn't imagine anyone else making this dress,' the 39-year-old bride told the publication. 'He knows and cares for the children and it was great fun putting it together,' Angelina said.

The couple also exchanged custom wedding rings from jeweller Robert Procop, who created Angelina's stunning engagement ring, an estimated 16-carat, emerald-cut diamond worth approximately $500,000.

Sex burns calories
Yes, knocking boots counts as exercise—and it sure beats the gym! Depending on how physical you get, sex can strengthen muscle tone, increase your heart rate, and get your whole body working, said Justin Lehmiller, lecturer in the department of psychology at Purdue University and author of “The Psychology of Human Sexuality.” And according to a 2013 study in which volunteers wore activity trackers while they did the deed, men burn about 101 calories per session, while women torch an average of 69.

"Relatively speaking, that's not a huge amount," Lehmiller said.

He points out, however, that sex in the study (from foreplay to orgasm) lasted an average of 25 minutes.

"If you have sex for a longer period of time, you can have even more of those calorie-burning benefits."

Sex helps you sleep
After orgasm, the body releases a relaxation hormone called prolactin, said Kristin Mark, director of the Sexual Health Promotion Lab at the University of Kentucky.

"If you're not feeling particularly tired beforehand, having sex and reaching orgasm may certainly help you nod off a little more quickly than you would have otherwise,” she said.

Sex lowers your blood pressure and stress levels
In a 2005 Scottish study, volunteers were asked to record their sexual activity for two weeks and were then given anxiety-inducing tasks, like public speaking or solving math problems out loud. Those who'd had sex over the study period experienced smaller blood pressure spikes, and recovered from them more quickly, than those who hadn't. (Only penile-vaginal intercourse seemed to have this effect, not masturbation or other forms of sexual activity.)

The study suggests two important benefit of regular sex, Mark said: Better blood pressure control, and better stress management overall.

"Sex not only lowers people's perceived levels of stress, but it also appears to helps them handle stress more effectively, as well," she says.

Sex strengthens your heart
Regular sex may benefit the cardiovascular system in other ways. A British study found that men who had sex at least twice a week over a period of 20 years were less likely to have died from heart disease than those who got it on less than once a month. After 10 years, in fact, their risk of sudden death was 50 percent less than that of the group that had less sex, although that gap lessened over the next decade.

These sorts of findings only show a correlation, not causation, Mark said. "People who have healthy sex lives probably have overall healthy lifestyles."

Even so, she suspects there may be a connection: "Sex helps regulate hormones like estrogen and testosterone," she says, "which impacts all kinds of systems in the body, including the heart."

Sex may protect against cancer
Some studies have suggested that men who ejaculate more frequently may have a reduced risk of prostate cancer—although the difference appears to be very small, and others haven't found a conclusive link.

The benefits may be clearer for breast cancer prevention, however: A French study found that women who had sex at least once a month were less likely to develop breast cancer than those who didn't. And while the disease is rare in men, those who orgasm less than six times a month appear to be at increased risk of breast cancer compared to those who do so more often, according to a Greek study.

Sex boosts immunity
Getting busy on a weekly basis stimulates the immune system and provides protection from the common cold, according to a Wilkes University study. Researchers gave college students questionnaires about their sex lives, then tested their saliva for levels of immunoglobulin A (IgA), an antibody that helps fight off viruses. They found that the students who had sex once or twice a week had 30% more IgA than those who had sex less frequently. (They also, however, had higher IgA levels than those who had sex three times a week or more, suggesting that in this case, maybe you can get too much of a good thing.)

Sex relieves pain
Women often because of headaches, or so the cliché goes—but, according to a 2013 German study, going through with it may actually help them feel better. When study volunteers chose to have sex during a headache episode, about 60 percent of migraine sufferers and 30% of cluster headache sufferers reported partial or total relief.

Endorphins released during orgasm, as well as increased blood flow to the genital area, likely play a role in sex's pain-relieving power, Mark said. "Pain sometimes has to do with blood flowing to one particular area, like the head, and sex can take some of that pressure off by redirecting the flow."

25-year-old man kills father over a ‘stick of cigarette’ (PICTURED)

On Monday, 1 September, the Edo State Police Command, paraded a 25-year-old man who reportedly killed his father after the pair got into a squabble over a cigarette stick he stole from his father.

The suspect, Best Momodu, who is from Etsako West Local Government Area of Edo State, confessed to murdering his father after he stole a stick of cigarette from him.

Momodu said he unknowingly picked a knife and stabbed him as the squabble ensued.

He said, “I stole his cigarette and he found out. So he started shouting at me and quarrelling. So, mistakenly I took a knife and stabbed him. I have not seen the dead body but I heard he died. But the community people arrested me after I killed him.”

Meanwhile, 63 suspected armed robbers, child defilers and murderers were paraded by the state Commissioner of Police, Folunso Adebanjo, who advised residents of the state to be watchful, especially at the airports, crowded places, uncompleted buildings and to monitor their environments.

He also expressed concern over the increasing number of cases of child defilers in the state, while also urging parents to be watchful, saying the activities of child defilers are not only worrisome but wicked.

He said, “this is the beginning of the ember months, these are times criminals will want to reap where they did not sow. I want to thank the people of the state for their corporation and I urge for continued partnership between the police and the public.”

“If you observe anything around, report to the police, monitor all uncompleted buildings because that is where criminals hide,” he added.

Kathy Griffin Goes Nude for ALS Challenge Video

Kathy Griffin just stepped up to the challenge ... and left her clothes at home!

The comedian is the latest celebrity to accept the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, debuting her video on"Jimmy Kimmel Live!" on Friday night.

Photos purporting to show a nude Jennifer Lawrence are making their way around on the Internet as part of what appears to be a massive celebrity hacking campaign.

The photos claiming to be of Lawrence were taken in various locations -- some of them appear to be taken in a dressing room, while others are more intimate. Some of the photos show the woman who is allegedly Lawrence taking the photos herself, while others appear to be taken by someone else.

A few of the photos show what appears to be Lawrence in various bathing suits ... but others are fully nude.

There are a ton of other partially nude photos of celebrities posted today ... the alleged victims include Kate Upton, Victoria Justice, Ariana Grande, Kirsten Dunst, Hope Solo, Krysten Ritter, Yvonne Strahovski, and Teresa Palmer.

Lawrence's spokespeople tell TMZ, "This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence."

We're reaching out to the reps for the women involved. So far, no word back ...
