“We Have Had Enough” – Association of Nigerian Witches & Wizards Declare War on Boko Haram

Dr Okhue IboiDr Okhue Iboi   The witches and wizards in Nigeria are not happy with Islamist militant sect Boko Haram. The Sun reports that an emergency meeting was held at Afuze, Edo over the challenges facing the country, especially the nation’s security. In an interview with the publication, the leader and spokesman for Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITZAN), Dr. Okhue Iboi said the emergency meeting was to discuss a way forward. “Witches and Wizards in Nigeria are deeply worried by what is going on in the country especially Boko Haram insurgency. As stakeholders in the Nigerian project, we can no longer afford to fold our hands while the nation burns. Enough is enough” Iboi said at the event. According to Iboi, it was witches and wizards from Borno, Adamawa and Yobe that urged the association to have the meeting. He said the bi-annual meeting of the association was scheduled to be held in the first week of October, but because of the sect “our fellow brothers and sisters from the these three North eastern states” pleaded for the emergency meeting, to “help cage Shekau and his blood-thirsty lieutenants.” The 55-year-old also said the days of Shekau are numbered and he will be captured before the end of December, as well as paraded on the streets of Abuja and Maiduguri for the world to see. And for the parents of the missing school girls, he says they should smile as “those girls are coming back home. They will be rescued.” If you are in doubt of their power, don’t be, because Iboi says all their revelations will come to pass as it did with the 2011 general elections when they told Ibrahim Babaginda and Atiku Abubakar not to contest against President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan. Other revelations by Iboi include the Emir of Kano Sanusi Lamido Sanusi should not rejoice yet, Governor Adams Oshiomole is standing on a shaky ground,Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu will be disgraced and President Jonathan will win the 2015 elections.

hell is real ‘Bottomless’ Pit Appears On Earth From Nowhere, Leaves Scientists Baffled (PHOTO, VIDEO)

A mysterious giant crater has been discovered in a remote part of Siberia, dubbed by locals ‘the end of the world’, and is now puzzling scientists. An urgent expedition was sent to the far-northern peninsula to try and solve the mystery.
The team arrives on Wednesday to survey the seemingly bottomless pit, located in one of Russia’s northernmost points, at a latitude closer to that of Greenland than Canada.
The hole is about 80 meters wide and apparently had some extreme thermal event contributing to its formation, according to scarce detail gleaned from video footage. It wasn’t until that footage started to make the rounds that the media and the scientific community woke up to the possibility of surveying its origins.
The crater is believed to have been formed two years ago. No one knows how.
The seriousness of the find is evidenced by Russia’s Emergencies Ministry being present among the expedition. The Russian Academy of Sciences is also on board, planning to take samples of the soil, air and water from the area, which is big enough to fit several MI-8 helicopters.

Yamal, the peninsula where the spooky hole is located, is far up in the northern-Russian steppes. The precise location of the crater is some 30km from the gas field of Bovanenkovo. The whole area is within Russia’s key strategic oil and gas region – the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug.
The 700km area is a huge stretch of ancient permafrost otherwise known for its variety of animal species and is renowned as an archaeological goldmine where wooly mammoth skeletons have been discovered.

While some of the more absurd theories about the hole’s origins have been readily dismissed – chief among them that it was caused by a UFO – others see a potential relationship with global warming, believing that salt and gas were mixed underground, causing a subterranean explosion.

The one thing everyone agrees on is that the soil found around the crater was thrown out of it.

When asked if it’s possible that the hole was caused by a meteorite, a spokesman for the Yamal branch of the Emergencies Ministry said “we can definitely say that it’s not a meteorite. No details yet.”

The theory about the ignition of underground gas posits that ice and sand helped gas accumulate over time. When this mixed with salt, the explosion took place. The reason for this theory is that sometime around the last Ice Age (about 10,000 years ago) the area was still all sea, according to the Sub-Arctic Scientific Research Center’s Anna Kurchatova.

When global warming happens and permafrost begins to melt, large deposits of natural gas are released, which may have led to an effect similar to popping open a bottle.

Much will remain hidden about the mysterious crater until the researchers come back with more answers.

Something that takes away from the mystery slightly is that this might after all be a naturally occurring, quite boring, phenomenon.

“Occurrences like this are nothing new in Yamal,” a spokesman for the governor’s office told Interfax-Ural.“This happened last year, as well as two years ago… earth and ice behave unpredictably An underwater river might have moved the soil,” he added, explaining how these processes repeat over time as surfaces melt and freeze over again. “So, there’s no emergency to speak of here.”

The spokesman flat-out rejected the meteor theory, but said that a further investigation of the area should yield further information.

He's Back...Again! Mase Dumps Pastoral Duties, Returns To Rap Full Time

On-again, off-again rapper/pastor Mase has officially left his parishioners of the El Elyon International Church to return to the rap game full time, TMZ reveals.
Mase, who "retired" from rap in 1999 to pursue a career in the ministry, built up thousands of followers split into two churches in Atlanta and Phoenix, preaching the virtues of marriage and family values.
He however released an album in 2004 titled 'Welcome back' but returned back to his pastoral duties shortly afterwards.

Trouble however started  this year when Mase and his wife divorced, causing most of his flock to flee in anger.

Now he is said to have dropped all ties with both churches and is playing regular rap gigs around L.A., jumping back into his former lifestyle hardcore.
In fact the rapper-real name Mason Durell Betha-may be releasing another album soon.
'Welcome back' released 10 years ago was a nice album and no doubt fans around the world are eager to see what the former 'bad boy' will cook up this time.

Who missed Mase and his laid back style of rap???

No doubt, the ageless multi award winning pop Musician, Chris Okotie; now known as Rev. Chris Okotie is a very wealthy man; who loves seeing the faces of people light up whenever he gives.
He doesn’t need any introduction to Nigerians as his album ‘I need someone’ brought him to limelight in the 80′s. It would also be recalled that Pastor Chris left singing secular songs for gospel songs more than 30 years ago; after he repented.
Today, he writes gospel songs and he sings to worship God. It is also worthy of note that Rev. Chris is also a writer as he wrote the best selling book titled “The last outcast” which was a sell out. Pastor doesn’t have a choir in his church yet awesome songs are produced by him as the choir master and his church as his choir.
Rev. Chris was born on June 16, 1959. He is an Urhobo from Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State. He is the founder and senior pastor of Household of God Church; a church located in Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos state since 1987. He is a law graduate from the University of Nigeria, Enugu campus.
PROPERTIES
The church auditorium, including the children’s department, the car parks and its extensive fallow land is worth billions of naira. He has other choice properties in the United State of America worth millions of dollars.

The church auditorium is a beautiful, large edifice, built to house more than 2000 people or more. Although, Household of God Church is not as crowded like people would have expected it to be, but they have the ability and movement of a batallion as Rev. Chris would always say that “God doesn’t work with the crowd, but with selected few who are ready to work in the his vineyard”.

INVESTMENTS
Rev. Chris Okotie believes strongly in investing in the lives of people; he is described by all who has made contact with him as an intense giver. He also believes that “God who has called him would take care of him”.

So he doesn’t believe in any investment except in the service of God and humanity. But even at that; he is arguably one of the richest pastors in Nigeria; as he collects very expensive wrist watches, wears expensive suits, ties, perfumes and shoes.

Rev.Chris spoke extensively on this very issue in one of his sermons. According to him ” working in line with God’s will and direction for my life has made me buy more expensive cars and wear more expensive clothes than most of my colleagues”.

CHARITY
Pastor Chris spends a lot of money on charity as he is enjoys giving. He jokingly told the church on one of such Sundays that he spends over two hundred and fifty thousand naira each Sunday buying gifts for people.

The Yuletide seasons are not left out as he spends millions through the church making Christmas season beautiful for the less privilege in the Society.

Pastor and the church has a yearly grace programme; on the programme they organise an award event known as Karis award for people who did amazing things in their field of specialty.

Recently, he added a Rolls Royce Phantom, 2014 edition to the fleet in his garagewhich cost him a whooping sum of N80m. Frustrated husband creates spreadsheet detailing different reasons why his wife would not have sex with him

A 26 year old sexually frustrated man created a spreadsheet detailing reasons why his wife would not have sex with him. For a whole month, the man jotted down every reason the woman gave to turn him down when he asked for sex...from 'I'm too tired', to 'I'm watching the show' to 'I have to be up early' and sent it to her via email during a business trip to get her attention. She said when she tried to reach him after receiving the email, he refused to pick her calls and she angrily posted it on Reddit.

The lady said they'd been together for five years but only married for two years without any kids.
"Yesterday morning, while in a taxi on the way to the airport, husband sends a message to my work email which is connected to my phone. He's never done this, we always communicate in person or by text. I open it up, and it's a sarcastic diatribe basically saying he won't miss me for the 10 days I'm gone." She said "Attached is a spreadsheet of all the times he has tried to initiate sex since June 1, with a column for my "excuses", using verbatim quotes of why I didn't feel like having sex at that very moment.'
The spreadsheet, which has since been deleted, has been shared by thousands of people online.

Timaya, Empress Njamah at war again?

Once, Bayelsa State-born music artiste, Timaya and actress Empress Njamah were talk of the town on account of the love they presumably had for each other. Then, Timaya and Empress were so smitten, it was as if they could do no wrong.
*Timaya
*Timaya
But how wrong we were or is it, they were?  Because before the love could find a place to nest time soon put it to shame as the couple not only went their separate ways, they also went for each other’s jugular.
Empress and Timaya showed us in graphic details how soon love could become hate. How  one’s honey in one’s tea could be a vinegar in one’s vine. Then, they started tearing each other to pieces. The sweet words they shared became venom, with which one wanted to poison the other.
Obviously crushed, Timaya was the first to show his distaste in public, saying he regretted dating the actress. But the beautiful actress would not have any of that as she fired back that her mother would have been the saddest woman in  the world if she had married Timaya.
That was then and the lovers have since buried the hatchet and  moved on with their separate lives. Timaya has found a woman he made his wife and he seemed happy enough when he told me recently he  married the woman of his dream.  Empress on the other hand might not have found the man she is looking for but she seems happy enough, working on her acting career and running her House of Empress business venture.
However, when I ran into Timaya a couple of months ago, I sounded the singer out and found there may still be a residue of feelings for the ebony beauty actress. Okay, I was mischivious and got talking with him about himself and Empress and what it was like, the fiery moment and whether a part of him still missed a part of her.
Tell you something he told me? “I’m not missing anything about Empress. She’s my past and I have a beautiful family now. What is there to miss about her?”
I’m more concerned with charity works now-Empress Njamah
I have always loved Empress Njamah. She’s beautiful, sexy and smart. But what I love most about her is her simple, down-to-earth nature, which takes in the steam of life and find a way to make it cool for herself and everyone around her.
Empress Njamah
Empress Njamah
When I took the Timaya’s statement by her she simply replied that she isn’t interested in getting in a fight with anyone over little things. “I am beyond all these small talks. I’m more concerned with charity walks now. My interest in life is putting smiles on the faces of the deprived, the sad ones and those who need a helping hand”, she returned in a Blackberry chat.
Truly, as controversial as the actress is or the media has made her look, Empress seems to have found a quiet place in her life and living life on a different plane from the old shambolic one. All we hear about her these days is visiting one Motherless Babies Home or visiting a Hospice.
“I run a charity foundation for the less privileged and women on wheel-chairs. And I have been doing this, using my personal funds, with no support from anyone for ten years now. Most Homes in Lagos know me and miss me. Since I moved to Abuja I have been building same here. I have over 1,300 kids on my watch with 150 of those on wheel-chairs” she told me.
She said it is something God has called her to do. “My mum said she is not surprised because she saw the traits when I was growing up” she said, adding that that was all she wanted to talk about, not Timaya and ‘little talks’ as she put it

If you have conscience, you won’t do anything – Munachi Abii

One-time Most beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN), Munachi Abii who has made her way imto Nigerian music industry as a rapper, songwriter and model is a lady with a mission. And according to her, she is ready to take on everything life has to throw her way.
Taking about why she chose the name  No Konscience as her record name, the beautiful  rapper reveals what may be her life’s biggest philosophy.  But more than  that, Muna in this chat with Potpourri, opens up on her musical journey, her life and a whole lots more.
BY IYABO AINA
Your experience in the entertainment industry so far?
It has been quite an adventure ,because everything I have done in the industry are things I never thought I could do. And it’s quite interesting and the adventure is real. I have been working hard, doing what I know how to do best. It’s not about you getting to a particular destination but it’s  along the way, so I feel satisfied with everything I  have done so far
Munachi Abii1How do you cope, working with different artistes?
Every field you want to get into actually has its challenges. It has issues only you can deal with. So I won  t say there are issues, nothing is ever an issue. Winning a beauty pageant was not easy as well, so being in the entertainment industry has  challenges and I will say it  is not easy but it has been good
You have been silent for quite some time now, what actually happened?
It wasn’t too long, and nothing actually happened, I just decided to take a break.  It’s not everytime you have to release songs, you have to take time out in between. If you continue doing songs all the time, before you know it, you will crash and it is happening to a lot of people right now without them even knowing it. So I had to take some time away to study people, the environment, and the music industry to know those that love and hate me. So that’s what I did. I took a step back and it wasn’t too long and I also used the time to work on my tracks and work on myself as well. So that is why I decided to keep quiet.
So now that you are back, what are you up to?
Yeah, I have been doing music; I am working on bringing out my new album, and I am shooting a lot of videos of my new track.
There is a new single by you going viral on air, can you tell us about it?
The new single I just released is titled “No tomorro:, it’s crazy and it has been banging on air and I love it. It’s for people to have fun and basically it’s just a dance song which is about going to the club and dancing like there is no tomorrow.
There has been controversies about artistes   management and as one of the artistes who has been in the music industry for a while, what can you say about artistes   management?
Your management has a lot of roles to play in recreating your career. If you are signed with a body that is not quite good for the image you are trying to portray, and they really don’t know who you are and how they can train you to fit in with the image they are creating of you, there may be problem. Another thing is, never make a decision when you are desperate because that is a mistake most of us make.
Because we want to make music so much, we want to be out there, we want to be known, and we want to be like 2face, Psquare and D’banj, you now go and sign  fifteen years deal, ten years or  five years, without really knowing if the management has what it takes to promote you or not.  If you sign with a wrong management, you may end up ruining your career.
Before you got to where you are right now, what were the challenges?
It has been good, I thank God. But I have experienced a lot before music brought me to where I am now. I know what it takes to promote and all the same, I thank God and my fans, they have been supportive, if not for them I wouldn’t have been where I am today. I also love my team, they have been hard-working and we have been making it and I love working with people that are hungry because I am hungry as well.
Looking at the entertainment industry, we have a lot of upcoming artistes who are making it big, and we also have a lot of superstars. Now, do you see yourself as being in competition with any of these artistes?
I know there are a lot of people out there who want to be  in my place, as if we are in a competition of sort.  I tell you, if you want to live this life to the fullest, you really don’t have to look left and right because when you do so,  you will miss your way. I don’t look left and right, I look forward .
Why did you decide to go into rap ?
Rap is something I have always wanted to do but I kept asking myself how I could make it work.  So, I have to work on myself and I was able to do it well. And its been fun and amazing .
Who are hard to work with in the industry?
To me everybody is cool to work with. It’s just that women are tough to work with. I don’t know why we are like that, working with the men is easier because they know what they want but with the females, it is different. It only works well when you are friends.
If an upcoming artiste who is not popular, at all, wants to feature you in his or her song, will you accept it?
I don’t have any problem being featured on anybody’s track at all.  That is,  if I see that you have a good track and you want a good job done, I will do it.
Why is your record  called No Koncience  ?
Because if you want to make it in life, you need no conscience and if you have conscience you won’t do anything. But I don’t mean you have to be bad, I mean you have to be able to live your life. If you are too afraid to grab life, it will be hard for you and you will be nowhere to be found. So if you know what is good for you, live life to the fullest because no one knows tomorrow
