Starr, according to Evening Standard.alleges that the cover shoot of Rihanna for British GQ's 25th anniversary issue is similar to a work that appeared in an auction catalog alongside Hirst's work three years ago:
The head shot of the cover feature's Rihanna's hair adorned by a Greek mythology character, Medusa like collaged with snakes.
Starr states: "I am aware that artists are all sort of drawing from the same well but I think I know when my work has inspired someone else's”.
REAL REASON BURNABOY DUMPED ARISTOKRAT RECORDS, sets to float own label
It has been confirmed that burnaboy dancehall star (real name Damini Ogulu) will leave his record label Aristokrat Records at the end of 2013.He officially signed with the record label in 2011 and has perfected all arrangements to float his own at the start of 2014.
Burna has made this clear with Aristokrat even though the news of his departure has not reached the public.
A few weeks ago, the dark-skinned Port Harcourt bred act hinted at leaving the label. He said, "Change is about to happen. I know #BBG will stick with me no matter what. Watch out for future announcement. #BBG’. #BBG refers to his newly formed crew ‘Burna Boy Goons’. The tweet was deleted moments later.
Little known Burna signed with Aristokrat in July 2011, released two mixtapes ‘Burn Notice’ and ‘Burn Identity’ in April and November 2011 respectively. He then went on to drop the mid-tempo hit record ‘Like to Party’ in mid-2012. With two other successful singles ‘Tonight’ and ‘Run my race’, Burna rose to fame, making a name for himself.
We are told that problem ensued when his debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ dropped in August 2013. Burna Boy wasn’t pleased with the way the label handled the marketing and release of the album.
Contrary to reports earlier published, Burna did NOT get a N10m upfront payment for the album. The artiste feels the label should have done better – probably with a high budget album launch, major campaign etc.
‘He can’t be told anything to do, he’s a big boy right now. He won’t just listen anymore, the label are frustrated with his actions’.
As you're reading this, Burna has moved out of the house provided for him by the label in Lekki Phase 1 and relocated to house in Chevron Estate also in Lekki, Lagos. He has extricated himself from them and now handles his career with a former label employee who now only answers to him (Burna).
Unfortunately, insiders say there are issues with his new management structure. We’re told his minders fumbled a recent deal with Guinness, asking for a 200 per cent increase in a proposed endorsement deal fee. They never got it and Burna was taken off.
We are also told that Globacom, the telecoms company that handed him a mouth-watering deal earlier in the year are not willing to extend his contract after his one-year deal lapses.
Burna is currently managed by his mother, Bose Ogulu who is the daughter of Benson Idonije, a veteran broadcaster and highlife critic who once managed Afrobeat creator Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

Burna Boy was part of a gang that stabbed someone to death?
Burn Boy’s ‘uncontrollable’ mannerism and persona didn’t just start yesterday; NET investigations and sources have linked him to a criminal past, a period of his life he would rather not make public knowledge.
We are told on good authority that while in the UK back in 2010, Burna Boy was arrested by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was tried as a minor and sent to jail.
After 11 months, he was released and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’. But Burna is said to have disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat.
He later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria. He is currently barred from the UK for the next 15 years.

Gucci Mane Facing Up To 20 Years In Prison On Federal Gun Charges
Gucci Mane really hasn't had the best of years in 2013. He's feuded with many of his former affiliates, violated his probation and been arrested, was reportedlydropped from Atlantic Records, just to name of a few of his misadventures. And those misadventures continue with this latest piece of news, which may be the worst bit of news yet-- GuWop is facing up to 20 years in prison on federal gun charges.
We reported over the weekend about how Gucci was ordered to hand over all his guns and ammunitions. In federal court on Tuesday Gucci was charged with two counts of possession of guns as a felon, following two incidents in September when he threatened and showed cops his firearms.
We've been keeping you up to date on the various shenanigans of Gucci, but the federal prosecutor's news release shed more light on the incidents dating back to September-- around the time Gucci was going on his Twitter spree and had been dropped from Atlantic.
"On September 12, 2013, Davis, who was a felon at the time, was found in possession of a firearm," the release said via CNN. "Then, just two days later, on September 14th, he again possessed a firearm different from the earlier gun. On both occasions, Davis displayed the loaded firearm, acted erratically, and made threats to individuals, including police and his attorney."
Each firearm possession charge could result in a maximum sentence of 10 years and a fine of up to $250,000. We'll keep you updated as this unfolds

12 Movie Trailers That Were Better Than The movie
(via)
Forget for a moment that we’re currently knee-deep in one of the buzziest Oscar seasons that I can recall in recent memory and try to remember bad movies for a second. You know, those things that never win an award and are actually pretty garbagey? I’ll give you a second to try to recall.
Well anyway, sometimes movies aren’t great, and that sucks. But usually you can tell pretty far in advance, because it’s indicated in the trailer. Sommmmmetimes, though, you can’t tell at all and you get blindsided by a really crappy movie as soon as your ass hits the chair, and that’s because of film trailers.
Once in a blue moon, someone really nails a movie trailer, to the point that it ends up being better than the actual movie. And since we don’t want you to get tricksied into seeing these movies just because it seems awesome in the three minute preview, we made a list of all the trailers that were better than the full-length movies themselves.
Consider yourselves warned.
1. Where The Wild Things Are
This one got me and it got me hard. The swelling music, the nostalgic storybook characters from my childhood? If the trailer was hitting me so hard that it teared me up every time, what was the movie gonna do to me? Answer: not a whole lot, it was pretty crappy.
2. The Book Thief
I figured this was gonna be a tear-jerker as well, but it’s hard to take a movie seriously when God is the irreverent narrator, and he’s making jokey comments about the Holocaust. Better luck next time, Geoffrey Rush.
3. The Great Gatsby
The champagne! The Jay Z songs! The swift cuts between lush, colorful, Baz Luhrman party scenes! …turns out it’s tough to sustain that when it’s over two hours long and stars Leonardo DiCaprio as the one-dimensional man in a three-dimensional world. A stick figure for the ages. Stick with the abridged version — they got pretty much the entire plot out in all the various trailers anyway.
4. Brave
This wasn’t even a bad movie per se, it just seemed a lot more lady empowerment-esque from the trailer, and it got me really excited for it.
5. The Counselor
Something about the trailer didn’t suggest to me that this would be THE WORST MOVIE I’D EVER SEEN. Even if it did have Cameron Diaz in it.
6. The Place Beyond The Pines
Hate to break it to you guys, but this was not a movie centered around Ryan Gosling being charming and delightful in every way. He’s in one third of the movie and three thirds of the trailer, so which do you think I prefer?
7. The Hunger Games
If I could’ve watched that movie without the shaky cam, I would’ve been mighty appreciative. Or if I could’ve known when I first saw the trailer that the movie wouldn’t measure up, that would’ve been fine too.
8. Watchmen
Too bad these characters couldn’t be held together by any form lasting more than the three minute trailer? RIP idea of a good movie.
9. Vantage Point
THIS LOOKED SO GOOD WHEN I SAW THE PREVIEW IN THEATERS. But every friend of mine who saw it said it was garbage, and I’m extremely susceptible to peer pressure so I didn’t even bother. Whether I was wrong or not, I still have the trailer to ease my sorrows.
10. Cloverfield
I mean, the plot’s all there already. What more are you waiting for from the film itself? Save your thirteen dollars and sleep a little more soundly.
11. Date Night
Steve Carell and Tina Fey in the same movie? Where do I sign? Oh, right on the trailer line, before seeing the actual movie, which was a disappointment.
12. American Hustle
I’m really hoping this isn’t true, but I’m worried that the trailer for this movie might be better than the film itself. You can’t just combine two casts together and expect the result to be watchable, right? I mean, right? I don’t know anything anymore, but it’s a solid trailer.
