Bizarre: See Pic Of Goat With One Eye In The Middle Of Its Head
When I first heard about this story, I thought the term "one-eyed" used to describe the goat above meant that the animal had lost one of its eyes, and wondered what the big deal was until I saw the picture.
Little wonder curious crowds have trooped to a farm in Perundurai, Erode district, India, where the goat was born and currently lives.
The farm owner, Kandasamy, 45, who has been breeding goats for the past 10 years, said that this was the first of such occurrence.
“I have never witnessed such an incident in the past,” he said. “A female goat gave birth to two calves, one of whom has just one eye right in the centre of its forehead.”
Vetenarians pointed out that it was an anomaly and the outcome of a genetic disorder.
According to Coimbatore VOC Park Zoo director Dr K. Asokan, it’s a genetic disorder and caused due to chromosome changes in the goat’s system. “It’s rare to see such goats in the villages,” he said
Is it me, or everything about this goat just looks wrong...*shivers*.
Catholic Priest, Allegedly Bites Fellow Priest’s Ear Off
An 80-year-old Catholic priest bit
off another priest's ear and socked him in the face over a parking spot
in Australia, according to Perth Now.
Father
Thomas Henry Byrne appeared in court Friday after he allegedly started
the violent brawl when 81-year-old Father Thomas Joseph Cameron Smith
wouldn't give up his parking space.
After a brief scuffle, Byrne reportedly told Smith to pick up an item on the ground.
The item was Smith's ear, according to the Daily Mail, though it took him a while to figure out what it was.
Smith
wrapped the flesh in a tea towel and drove to a local hospital, where
staffed phoned him an ambulance. He was taken to surgery, while cops
went to arrest Byrne on a charge of grievous bodily harm. Byrne had a
black eye when he showed up in court on Friday, according to the
Independent.
An East Perth magistrate ordered that Byrne not go within 30 feet of Smith, who lives in the same apartment complex.
Pastor Paul Adefarasin Reveals How He Almost Died On His Way To Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s Birthday
The visionary and founder of the House on the Rock Church, Pastor Paul Adefarasin, this morning shared with members of his congregation how he escaped accident yesterday.
The very articulate and dapper man of God, said he was on his way to the Lagos Airport, to catch a flight to Warri, where he was to attend the birthday/40th anniversary of Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria President, Pastor Ayo Oristejafor.
According to him, God spoke to him and asked him not to use his Range Rover, which he would usually prefer to drive for long distances.
Unknown to him, the bolts of a tyre on the left side of the utility car, had almost come off. An automobile engineer was called in and he loosened about three bolts with his hands, without the help of a screwdriver.
In his words, he said: “If we had gone with that car, I would have been a statistic by now and the mood in this church today wouldn’t be what it is. But because I am a man who honours God and honour people that are honourable, I am standing here today.”
The church who had listened in stunned silence found their composure and applauded God’s mercies on the life of their Senior Pastor, who later continued his series on ‘The Power of Vision’.
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor’s grand occasion, also had in attendance President Goodluck Jonathan, Mike Murdock, amongst other notable guests.
My ‘Romance’ With A Python – Nollywood Actress, Chika Ike
UN
Ambassador and Nollywood actress, Chika Ike knows her onions when it
comes to interpreting her roles in movies as well as engaging in buying
and selling. Having featured in several movies since debuting in the
industry nearly a decade ago, her dexterity in the interpretation of
roles has endeared her to most movie directors.
Recently, the 27 year-old actress showed her stuff in a multi-million naira flick, ‘A Minute Silence’, where she was meant to pose for a shot with a live python. In this encounter, she recounts the horrible experience and explains why she prefers to keep her private life out of her acting career.
You are already a brand after putting in nearly ten years in the industry. What is your staying power?
I can only attribute my success to God because without Him, I’m a nobody. I’m also a sucker for hard work. I believe that in whatever you do, you’ve got to put in your best in it.
In a highly competitive industry with multi-talented actors and actresses, it is not easy. But I give God the glory, I’m a very spiritual person. Without God, I can’t really do anything. I grew up under the influence of my parents who inculcated the values of discipline, hard work and tolerance in their children.
Would you ascribe your success in the industry to your excellent interpretation of roles and professionalism?
Yes, that is what I actually mean by hard work. You have to be very professional in whatever you are doing in order to achieve success.
So, it is a combination of spiritualism, favour of God, hard work and professionalism.
What frightening experience have you had in the course of your acting career?
Basically, every job has its own hazards. Acting also has its own challenges too. I have had a lot of experiences. As an actress, you have to be at different locations. I shot a film recently that I was in the forest for seven days. You know, the sight of reptiles and animals can be very frightening.
There could be scorpions, monkeys and other dangerous animals hidden in the bush but as an actress, you’ve got to put that behind you and do the job. I just finished a movie recently where I had to pose with a live python. It was the most frightening role I have ever played in recent times. Carrying a python that can turn against you at any moment can be very frightening.
What was going through your mind when you were carrying the python?
A lot of things went through my mind. I felt anything could happen because animals are not easy to control. You can only try your best, human being sometimes might not be able to control wild animals. I felt the python was going to turn against me. Even when a colleague was encouraging me to carry the snake,I was praying it didn’t to attack me.
It was frightening; very scary. It took me a while before I could carry it. People were like telling me not to be scared. I was like running away but they kept telling me Chika, No! No, it won’t attack you. Later, I agreed to carry it with one hand but the director insisted I must hang it around my neck. I screamed and screamed , but I finally did it.
It means you can do anything for money?
No, I will never kill for money.
What if you have a Hollywood script that you’ve got to act nude for a whooping sum of money?
I will not take the job.
A big sum of money in dollars sometimes is irresistible?
Honestly, I won’t do it. I will not go naked for any movie.
A lot of rumours are making the rounds about your crashed marriage, could you please put the records straight?
You see, human beings are terrible, but the issue is that as long as you are breathing, people will continue to talk about you. Even if you are dead, people will still talk about you whether positively or negatively. Rumours will always come up, especially when one is in the limelight. So, let them continue to talk about me, I don’t want to talk about it.
But that will not help the situation either; is it not better to put the records straight, or you have decided to move on without a man in your life?
Basically, it is my private life and I don’t want to talk about it. I think private matters are handled privately. So, issues about marriages, relationships, friendships are personal, people are entitled to handle their own issues their own way. So, I like to keep my private life private.
Apart from acting, what other things do you do?
I have a foundation called Chika Ike Foundation which is geared towards helping children on the streets, giving them hope and encouraging them to become better persons in future. I launched it officially in May 27, this year, where we organised a party for over 3,000 children in Lagos.
The party was themed “Educate a Child” and we gave out over 3000 Customized CIF (Chika Ike Foundation) school bags containing school materials, T-shirts, lunchboxes, note books and snacks. It was held at the Light Chapel playing ground.
It was fun galore. I visited public schools in Enugu and Delta States recently and I’m planing to replicate the same in other states before the end of this year. It has actually been taking my time, but I love it because I’m passionate about it. Again, my fashion business: Fancy Nancy Collections is another area that takes my time. The Lagos branch is going to be opened soon. So, it has been a handful of activities for me.
What inspired you into setting up the foundation?
I grew up in a neighbourhood where people could not afford the basic necessities of life. I saw my mother helping them when they needed help. I saw a lot of kids being exposed to violence, child abuse, peer pressure. So I learnt from my mother’s generosity to the kids and her gestures towards caring for others. I was close to them and I could feel their pain. Since then, I told myself, ‘if I’m going to set up a foundation, it has to be one that has to do with kids. That is my passion.
Some of your colleagues have taken the initiative to premiere some movies. Are you thinking in that direction?
Yeah! It is good to be ambitious, and anybody that is ambitious will think of doing something special and worthwhile in the industry. Of course, I give them kudos for doing it and I’m assuring you that mine will be out, hopefully very soon.
What are you doing right now then?
I’m currently shooting a movie in Enugu. We will finish the production very soon. The movie is entitled, Kleptomania. It’s about a girl that has a sensation and spur to steal. This was actually brought about by a curse by her old mother while stealing her money to help her own boyfriend. The old woman cursed her and she started stealing. At a point in the movie and in the story line, she had an accident and her legs were cut off. It was physically challenging.
Are you the lead actress in the movie?
Yes I am. I worked with Pete Edochie. It was a beautiful storyline, with lovely casts.
How much did it cost?
I really don’t know, but I know it cost the producers a lot of money. If you put all the casts and cost together, it is huge. It is not easy getting Uncle Pete Edochie and myself in a movie like that.
When is it going to be out?
Hopefully in March 2013.
If you look back into your life, would you regret any of your actions?
I don’t really like looking back at life in such a way because I see everything you do in life as a learning process. I am not somebody that would not try and later start skulking and wishing it had never happened. Of course, I will feel bad, but I don’t allow that to weigh me down. I just have to move on and take it as one of the lessons in life. That way, it makes you stronger.
I have heard people call you African Sweetheart, why this name?
(Laughs) Of course I’m an African Sweetheart. I don’t really know why they call me that but I believe I am one. Every African woman should be a sweetheart. But I gladly take the name. Come to think of it, if you look at me, you’ll know that I am a full blown African woman and I am proud about that.

Jealous Lover Bathes Wife With Acid
A jilted husband identified as Okoye Gabriel has been arrested by the police at Ikotun Division in Lagos State, Southwest Nigeria, for allegedly pouring a substance believed to be raw acid on his wife, Charity.
She was severely burnt and sustained injuries on her body.
The 33-year old Enugu State-born man unleashed his anger on his wife for allegedly dumping him.
Gabriel is currently being detained at the police cell at Ikotun, while his enstranged wife, Charity was rushed to Lagos State University Teaching Hospiral, LASUTH, Ikeja, Lagos where doctors are battling to save her life.
The incident happened at the popular Governor Road in Ikotun, Lagos.
P.M.NEWS gathered that Gabriel did the introduction to marry Charity at her family’s home about four years ago at Enugu State and had not concluded her traditional marriage rites before he brought her to Lagos.
They lived together as husband and wife and had one kid.
Trouble started last year between the couple over suspicion by Gabriel that Charity had another lover. She denied the allegation on several occasions, but her husband did not believe her. At a time, she complained to her friends that she was tired of his accusation and decided to quit the marriage.
She reportedly told her husband that since he does not trust her, there was no need to remain in the relationship.
She took their only kid to their village and returned to Lagos to live separately. Later this year, Gabriel discovered that she had returned to Lagos. He traced her to Ikotun where he begged her to come back.
She refused and told him that the relationship was over. When it was obvious that he could not persuade her to come back, he got the substance, poured it on her face and other parts of her body and fled.
The police started a manhunt for him and eventually arrested him. Sources at the station confirmed the incident and told our correspondent that he will soon be charged to court.
When P.M.NEWS visited the station, the Divisional Police Officers (DPO) CSP Akika was not around to comment on the matter. Other sources confirmed the incident and told our correspondent that he will soon be charged to court.
“I have eaten the flesh and drank the blood of 97 people” ~ Girl (15)
In yet another Satanist confession in Bulawayo, a Nkulumane 12 family was left baffled after their 15-year-old daughter claimed that she was a friend of Cowdry Park Satanists and has to date feasted on flesh and blood of 97 people.
The girl (name withheld as she is still a minor), also told her family that she was recruited to the Satanic world at the age of six. According to a source, the girl was in the habit of disappearing from her home and at times would resurface after a month.
“Her family thought that she had a boyfriend. One of her aunts was asked to check her virginity and she was still intact. Relatives were also called in to ask her about her whereabouts and ever time they did so she would remain quiet and at times cry saying she would go and be with friends who do not give her problems,” said the source.
The girl is reported to have finally revealed her whereabouts on Saturday during a family gathering. According to the source, the girl reportedly told her parents that all the times she disappeared she would be with her friends in Cowdry park where they spend time playing under a house in the suburb.
The girl also revealed that for the nine years that she has been in the game , she has eaten flesh and drank blood of 97 people.
In an interview, the girl’s parents said they ran out of words after the confession.
“We do not know what to say, the news came as a shock. Yes we know she disappears, but we never suspected that she was involved in such things.
The other day I was reading a story about these Cowdry Park Satanists and never in my wildest imaginations did I think that my own child could be involved,” said the girl’s father.
During the interview, the girl’s mother was in tears and all she could say was that she was going to FIX everyone responsible for her child’s religious beliefs.
In addition to that, the girl’s father threatened to physically harm all the people implicated in the fiasco.
“I am going to hunt for them one by one because I have their names and addresses,” vowed the man.

According to Sahara reporters, Mr. Oritsejafor was presented with the “gift” of the jet said to have being bought by his church, via a projector at a lavish party that marked the 40th anniversary on the pulpit. President Goodluck Jonathan was in attendance at the event where Mr. Oritsejafor received the jet.

Ras Kimono Blasts Majek Fashek, Calls Him An Alcoholic
Ras Kimono has taken a swipe at Majek Fashek who sometimes ago, made a comment about the former’s pot belly which he said was unbecoming of a reggae artiste.
Majek reportedly said, “don’t get me wrong. He (Kimono) is my brother, who has benefited from me. Really, I don’t know any dreadlock reggae artiste before or after Bob Marley or any in recent history that is as fat and carries a pot belly like Kimono.”
Kimono responded to the criticism while laughing, “well, I would not waste more than seven words over the matter. He is into alcohol, period!”
No one may be certain about what initiated the mudslinging between the two respected reggae music icons
