Birdman Aims to Drop 16 Albums Under YMCMB in 2012

Baby's ambition is clear: the flamboyant Cash Money CEO wants to release 16 albums under the YMCMB umbrella within the first six months of this year.
After recently explaining to mmm360.blogspot.com how the deal with Fred Durst's 1990s rock-rap band, Limp Bizkit, came about, Birdman tells XXLMag.com there are still other acts from genres other than rap that he and Slim are interested in scooping up to further expand the roster.
"I think bringing Fred and Limp Bizkit to the team gives us a different look," Birdman says. "We dominate rap, but we're also trying to grow in different areas; Pop, rock, gospel, country."
Of course, Cash Money will always be hip-hop heavy with headlining acts such as Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj and Drake, but Baby wants to dominate in other areas as well.
"We're a brand and we don't want to be categorized as one type of brand," Stunna continued. "I think we're a machine and we activate and were active as a machine. I thought this Limp Bizkit move would be big for us as a brand and a machine."
Birdman revealed to XXLMag.com that Limp's first single will feature Lil Wayne and comes out next week.
Already, there's a rash of artists under the YMCMB umbrella with music on the way. Bow Wow's, Underrated, LP and Lil Twist's, Don't Get It Twisted drop a week apart on March 13 and March 20, respectively, while Nicki Minaj's, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded is slated for April 3. New albums from Busta Rhymes and Mystikal--also new YMCMB signees--have summer release dates as well.

Bizarre Leaves D12, Starts His Own Weirdo Movement

It looks like Eminem's dirty Detroit dozen is yet again without a founding member.
Rapper Bizarre told HipHopDX in a recent interview that he is no longer a member of the platinum-selling group D12. Behind Slim Shady himself, Bizarre was the second biggest character of the group and held nothing back in his rhymes.
"Yeah, I'm not in D12 no more," he shared. "We just had creative differences and decided to go our separate ways - well I decided to go my separate way.
"And nah, I'm not in Odd Future," he clarified."I got my own crew called The Weirdo Movement."
Bizarre was asked if the recent singing of Slaughterhouse at Shady had an effect on D12 and his decision to leave/ "I don't think it had no real effect," he explained. "Slaughterhouse is doing they thing - shout out to them. Me and my man actually just did some production work on their album... and I can't wait to hear this album they about to put out."
Shady made sure he gave his crew their due when he got on and D12 released Devil's Night (2001) and D12 World (2004). The group experienced success but with the loss of founding member and Eminem's childhood friend, Proof, in early 2006 the future of the group has been in question.
Bizarre is prepping the release of his free album,This Guy's A Weirdo, on March 30, which will feature Royce Da 5"9' and his "Weirdo Movement" sound. He also hopes to get in the studio with Nicki Minaj who he has been stalking on Twitter and recently got a tattoo of on his arm. --Nicholas Sella @NickSella

Kid Cudi drops anticipated album, Goes in hard on Universal Republic on Twitter.

Just hours after his WZRD album with producer Dot da Genius dropped today (February 28th), Kid Cudi took to Twitterto express his appreciation for his supporters and to apologize on behalf of his "weak *** major label," Universal Republic, for not shipping what he deemed to be sufficient copies of the album to stores.
"I just wanna say Thank You from the bottom of my heart to everyone who is supporting WZRD," Cudder posted. "Words cant express how i feel right now. I mean like seriously who has better fans than me???? So ******* open minded and smart. Just like me. Making jams for kids like me...Man im so happy today! Nothing can steal my joy right now."
But 30minutes later, presumably following a plethora of complaints regarding WZRD being unavailable in stores, Mescudi began bashing his label with a string of spiteful tweets.
"Ok so just a heads up, my weak *** label only shipped 55k physicals cuz they treated this like some indie side project tax right off.," he wrote. "So i apologize on behalf of my weak *** major label. And I apologize for the lack of promo, again, my weak *** major label."
The artist continued displaying his dissatisfaction by stating: "They tried to rush me thru this so i can just give em another MOTM, but guess what? **** that, next album is WZRD. MOTM3 on hold til 2014."
Mr. Rager didn't stop there. "So its def gonna be tough to find one in the stores guys, I'm sorry about that," he wrote. "I gotta go out and find one too, becuz my weak *** label never even gave us a copy of our own album. FAIL!!!
"Im lettin Universal Republic have it, **** it," he added. "What they gon' do, spank me?? hahahaha... AND Teleport 2 Me, Jamie aint on the radio!!!! like helloooooooooo????? HIT HIT HIT!!!."

Jennifer Hudson on Witness List For Family Murder Trial

By 1sa
Oscar winner Jennifer Hudson ** is on the witness list for the upcoming Chicago trial of the man accused of killing her mother, brother and 7-year-old nephew in 2008, according to court documents.
But prosecutors haven't yet disclosed whether Hudson will actually testify at the April 9 trial of William Balfour, who was the estranged husband of Hudson's sister, Julia.
Hudson told investigators that she talked to her mother in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood every day and knew something was wrong when she hadn't heard from her by late in the morning of Oct. 24, 2008, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Several hours later, Hudson's mother, Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother, Jason Hudson, 29, were found shot to death in the family's home. The body of her nephew Julian King, who was Julia Hudson's child from a previous relationship, was found days later in a vehicle several miles away. Police recovered a gun from bushes near the vehicle and have linked it to the shootings.
Hudson told investigators she'd known Balfour since childhood and had advised her sister against marrying him. She said the family didn't find out about their

Celine Dion Cancels Shows, Needs Vocal Rest

By Dr LORI
Sure, Celine Dion **'s heart will go on, but as of now, her voice cannot. The pop singer has announced the cancellation of 10 shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas through March 18, due to weakness in her right vocal chord.
According to a press release, Dion experienced difficulty while performing at her Vegas last week, and headed to Los Angeles for an examination at the UCLA Medical Center. A doctor advised the singer to rest her voice for six to eight weeks, and Dion is obliging.
"I tried to sing at my sound-check last week, and I had no control of my voice whatsoever," says Dion, who began her three-year residency at Caesars last March. "We thought that after a few days rest I would improve but it wasn't getting any better...I guess it was worse than I thought."
Dion will return to The Colosseum for a planned run from June 9 to Aug. 19. Tickets for the cancelled performances will be refunded.

The Good, The Bad, and the Bogus: High School Party Movies

Good, Bad, Bogus School Party Movies

I did the whole high school party thing back in the day, and things did get crazy once in a while, but I never ended up with a midget in my oven. Have you seen the trailers and clip for Project X? These kids are out of their minds. But, hey, I get it; it was all about upping each other to claim party glory. You had to go big to make it memorable.
Based on what we’ve seen so far, Project X looks to raise the stakes big time, but it’s also got some serious competition to become one of the best of the best as far as school party movies go. Where will Project X fall come March 2nd? Here’s the good, bad and bogus of school party movies to give you a sense of the lay of the land.
Good: Can’t Hardly Wait
Just before I hit high school, Can’t Hardly Wait arrived in theaters. Sure, the idea of having to mingle with guys suffering from an identity crisis like Kenny Fisher, yearbook hounds like Vicki and potentially getting swallowed up by a drunken mob belting out “Paradise City” was intimidating, but when I actually got to school and Mike Dexter, Amanda Beckett and Preston Meyers were nowhere to be found, it was a little disappointing. Regardless, this one remains at the pinnacle of high school party movies courtesy of its all-star cast, epic soundtrack and very important high school lessons – if you both eat a strawberry Pop-Tart for breakfast, you’re meant to be
Bad: Prom Night

First red flag of the 2008 remake of Prom Night? A PG-13 rating. That’s like trying to throw an epic high school bash and filling your guests’ red cups with soda. This one had fun, campy slasher flick written all over it until you’re mere minutes into the movie and it’s absolutely drowning in predictability. Not only can you see all of these moronic characters heading straight for their demise from miles away, but once they get there, it’s stab, stab, stab, dead. Where’s the creativity? The best part about a good high school party is the wild and unexpected events that make the night unforgettable. This prom? Totally unmemorable
Bogus: Not Another Teen Movie
What better way to describe a teen movie parody than bogus? As a film of the spoof genre, Not Another Teen Movie immediately knocks itself out of contention to be considered a good high school party movie, but it does deserve some attention for taking material from the good ones out there, upping the insanity tenfold and then giving us some absolutely absurd scenario that still looks like a blast. I’d probably point and laugh had a group of my peers walked into prom Broadway musical style, but every time I watch that prom night scene, I seriously start to think Not Another Teen Movie: The Broadway Show might actually work
Good: Dazed and Confused
You might have to endure some brutal beat downs and public humiliation to get there, but this high school party is totally worth it. Things at Pickford’s place fall apart, but we still get a three-phase party - out on the night, the Emporium, the obligatory aimless driving session and the party at the Moon Tower - each of which is jam packed with raucous revelry and joyous nonsense set to the tune of the best of the '70s. If only we all had a little more Slate in our lives … every president would be in a cult and married to a hip, hip lady
Bad: I Love You, Beth Cooper

The basic premise of this movie isn’t all that bad; the biggest nerd at school confesses his love for the popular girl during his graduation speech. In fact, I’m surprised more social life-less valedictorians don’t do this more often. It’s a pretty bold move and might actually earn some respect. Then again, when you’re as irritating as Denis Cooverman, going off to become the #1 at a Fortune 500 company won’t even give you a shot with a girl like Beth Cooper. Then again, what’s so great about Beth Cooper? There’s tons of fun to be had with high school stereotypes, but the way they’re used in this movie are so obnoxious and unfunny, it could scare some pre-teens away.

Bogus: Piranha 3D

Piranha 3D gets bogus honors for having an awful narrative, but killer parties. Sure, there’s something fun about watching the cast get torn to bits by man-eating piranha, but there’s got to be some level of concern for the characters. However, when you’re getting zero character development and tossing the main players into uninteresting sub-scenarios, it doesn’t really matter if they live or die, only how inventive their death is. That being said, is there anything more entertaining than that Spring Break party massacre? So much death and so much blood, but also the perfect amount of campy humor making you squirm in your seat yet enjoy the moment all the way through
Bad: Prom

No, I’m not the target audience for Prom, but every now and then it’s actually kind of nice to go back to the days when I believed in that over glorified view of a high school experience. Then again, there’s a big difference between living out a fantasy in a film and having a film take a scenario and manipulate it to the max. Prom is bound to cause big problems for parents, if it hasn’t already; moms and dads out there will likely get nauseous from the incessant eye rolling this film will cause while their kiddies will be scarred for life, Prom taking itself so seriously, they’re bound to too, leaving them with dreadfully unrealistic expectations for their high school experience
Bogus: Accepted

Speaking of movies that go too far with a totally unrealistic scenario, a group of college rejects starting their own school? Yeah, right. Accepted is overflowing with absurdity – the group pulling the whole thing off with a mere website, anyone taking the school initials, S.H.I.T., seriously (then again, there really is a U.T.I. out there) and the fact that Justin Long’s character is named Bartleby. What parent does that? But still, here’s a case where a movie is packed with silliness, but embraces it. While Accepted never actually intends to convince you this can really happen, it takes itself and its characters seriously enough to offer a good time with a little bit of heart to boot.

"Chris Brown's award is illegal" Seth Rogen Criticizes Chris Brown, the Grammys

By lori sly
This weekend, Seth Rogen joined the growing ranks of Chris Brown critics. Hosting the Independent Spirit Awards on Saturday (Feb. 25), the comedian was certainly riskier than Billy Crystal at last night's Oscars, the award show Rogen compared to the Grammys telecast two weeks ago.
"You say a few hateful things, they don't let you within a few hundred yards of the Oscars," Rogen said, referring to Oscar producer Brett Ratner's firing over derogatory gay comments. "You can literally beat the shit out of a nominee and they'll ask you to perform twice at the Grammys," he said, referring to -- but of course -- Chris Brown. Watch Rogen's opening speech below (with Brown disses coming 5:30 into the speech).
Rogen's joke doesn't reflect an uncommon reaction to what appeared to be the Grammys' open-armed celebration of Brown, just three years after he violently beat then-girlfriend Rihanna. Last week, however, Rihanna showed that she has forgiven her former abuser, collaborating with him on two remixes **. Over the weekend, Rih took to Twitter [Link] to single out a fan who criticized her decision to collaborate with Brown again. Neither Chris Brown nor Rihanna have acknowledged Rogen's diss via their preferred communication channel, their respective Twitter accounts.
We have a feeling Breezy won't be attending any Judd Apatow premieres anytime soon

‘The Walking Dead’ Recap: ’18 Miles Out’

There are episodes of AMC’s The Walking Dead that seem empty, with not much progression in the story or evaluation of the characters. What keeps viewers coming back for more is the kills and the gruesome nature of the zombie apocalypse. However, what most of us don’t want to admit is that character development is key to our devotion. This episode gave us exactly what we’ve been craving.

The episode began with Rick, Shane, and their prisoner Randall in major trouble. Rick hid near a window which poured out walkers, Randall was tied up and crawling awkwardly towards a knife to set himself free while Shane barricaded a school bus door from a pack of ravaging dead brains. And this in only the first thirty seconds

Flashback to before the attack when Rick and Shane are transporting Randall eighteen miles away from the farm. Shane is convinced that taking Randall as prisoner was a mistake. In Rick’s defense it was a spur of the moment decision to save Randall’s life. Rick and Shane have come to yet another impasse.

They represent two sides of a coin, the yin and yang, eternally bound by their police partnership as well as their friendship. While in reality most of us would ditch a loose canon like Shane or moral stickler like Rick, as characters they cannot function without one another and they know this. Shane makes cut throat choices in order to survive while Rick weighs his options to save lives and this often leads to more trouble.

Rick finally confronts Shane about Otis’ death in the school yard. He also tells him that Lori, Carl, and his unborn baby belong to him and him alone. Shane tries to explain himself, but Rick already seems to know his partner all too well. Now Shane is angry with Rick about keeping Randall alive and risking the location of the farm as well as the safety of the crew. The plan is to leave him in the middle of nowhere with a single knife and allow him a chance to live.

Randall however, is not that intelligent. After all the trouble of blindfolding him, he still admits that he knows Maggie from the farm and that they went to school together. Now his death is imminent. Rick and Shane find an abandoned public works building and leave him for dead. But then Shane tries to shoot him.

Que the most anticipated BFF throw down in recent television. Rick and Shane begin to kick each other’s asses. Shane gives Rick the old forehead to the face technique, but then Rick gets a few left hooks in. It doesn’t really matter who’s dominating, all that we care about is watching it happen. Yes, maybe I was rooting for Sheriff Grimes, but I digress.

After Shane throws a wrench at Rick and busts a window in the public works building, the walkers come spilling out. Rick hides underneath one of the brutes while Shane retreats to a bus. Meanwhile Randall is trying to reach the knife before he is eaten alive.

But there is more to this story than just Rick and Shane. Maggie’s little sister Beth is on suicide watch after she hid a kitchen knife under her covers and refused to eat any food. Maggie was already distraught by Glen’s existential crisis when he left his friends for dead. Lori tells her to support her man by telling him to pull himself together and give him time.

Lori wants to prevent Beth from killing herself while Andrea wants to let her make a choice. Lori tells Andrea that she is worthless and as an audience it’s hard not to agree. She sits on top of a camper and watches the perimeter, which Lori feels that men can handle. This was somewhat annoying, but amazingly one of the most realistic portrayals of morale on the show yet. You know bitches would be bitching about laundry and dishes. When it comes down to it, the ladies like it fair. Lori isn’t exactly a great specimen and Andrea finally tells her that.

Maggie takes a break from watching Beth and allows Andrea to take over. Andrea then leaves Beth to slit her wrist in the bathroom, which infuriates Maggie and Lori. Luckily Beth is alright, but where is old man Hershel in all of this?

There were some pretty sweet zombie kills this episode. Rick got pinned down by a massive walker and shot him in the face. Then came more and more, forcing him to shoot one walker through the head of another. Shane learned the fine art of knifing zombies in the face. Randall did come in handy by freeing himself and helping Rick drive the car to save Shane. It was pretty badass watching Grimes sit out the window shooting down the goons while Shane dove into the back of the SUV.

In the end, Rick could never leave Shane for dead. While getting guns from the two public works security officers’ bodies he remembered that being partners is more than just a precaution, it’s about survival. Sometimes the decisions one makes saves the other from having to make them. Now let’s just hope they don’t kill each other before the walkers get to them.

Madonna Sued for “Girl Gone Wild”

Joe Francis, the owner of the “Girls Gone Wild” franchise, is unhappy with Madonna. The pop star has a new song that was entitled “Girls Gone Wild” and Joe Francis sued to try to get her to stop using the name. Before the lawsuit got to court, Madonna decided to listen to Joe Francis.
Kinda.
Instead of totally changing the name, Madonna changed the name of the song to “Girl Gone Wild”. Apparently taking off the S wasn’t enough for Joe Francis. He’s telling anyone that will listen that Madonna is still infringing on his copyright.
Technically, he’s right. But he should let Madonna have it. How many more years can Madonna claim to be a Girl Gone Wild without seeming creepy?
And, besides, Joe Francis could use the publicity. “Girls Gone Wild” is a thing of the past. Nowadays, we can just dial up a website instead of ordering a video off of a television commercial and then waiting for it to arrive in the mail

KANYE LOOTS FROM CHARITY (Kanye West’s Charity Did Not Do Charity )

It was reported by The Daily that Kanye West’s charity foundation set up in the rapper’s name spent over a half a million dollars in 2010, and none of that was given to a single charity. According to the site, the majority of the spending was on expenses.
The expenditures in 2010 amounted to $572,383, and this was used to pay salaries and other overhead expenses. What is funny is that the total amount of donations the foundation received that year came out to $178,916 even after West’s $88,501 donation.
This foundation was considered a non-profit organization up until it decided to close its doors in April 2011. When the charity shut down, the former executive director Joseph Collins emailed the New York Times and had this to say, “I am reaching out to let you know that the Kanye West Foundation has officially closed its doors after a successful 4+ years of programming and events.”
The program was set up to help the dropout rates in schools. It must not have had much luck considering in 2009 it only managed to donate $581 to only one charity out of a total spent on its books of $553,826. The charity in question was “Loop Dreams,” which according to news.com.au taught kids about music production.
In the same NY Times article, there was mentioning of the charity closing down very strangely, and Collins only gave one statement which was that reporters should get in touch with Mr. West. In 2010, it seems as if Kanye and his company West Brands donated $35,000 which made up the majority of the money that was donated to the charity – $123,501 out of $178,916. Four other contributors made up the rest of the money, but that still did not even come close to the amount of money that was spent in the charity’s name.
At least in 2009, the charity earned $442,951. It made it a little more difficult for them to hide their tracks even though again only $581 was actually donated to anything. Also, Kanye only donated $5,000 that year; so it begs the question, who was being robbed?
Charity Navigator, “a non-profit watchdog,” stated a charity should not spend more than 15 percent of its income on expenses. The Better Business Bureau’s Wise Giving Alliance also suggests that at least 65 percent of money spent should be on charity activities. In what has been released, Kanye did not even come close to either of these amounts.

SHOCKER ! THE REAL STORY OF SPAIN BASED HOMOSEXUAL DAPO ADARALEGBE--THE SEVERAL NIGERIAN BIG SHOTS HE SLEPT WITH

Since his pictures surfaced on Facebook last week, the social network has been agog with comments on Dapo(Stephanie)Adaralegbe, the trans-sexual ex Obafemi Awolowo University undergraduate who was chased out of school in his second year over his homosexual tendencies.

Dapo who has changed his appearance to that of a girl and now lives in Spain claimed he(she) graduated from O.A.U and indeed the most popular girl between 1995 and 2001.

About nine years ago in an interview he granted a leading softsell magazine,Dapsy Baby as he(she) is popularly called spoke on his life as a trans-sexual,how he is a woman trapped in a man’s body and his ordeal as a student of O.A.U.

It is quite interesting….

I was studying Law at the Obafemi Awolowo University,(OAU),Ife.

I am of the 1995 set,but I had to leave school in 2001 because of pressures.People were too harsh on me;they did not understand me at all.
When I was in school, the school authorities got to know that I slept with my fellow male students. There was an incidence before when I had to be admitted in the hospital.I was bleeding from the anus and I had bad pile arising from sexual intercourse.

When the school got to know the kind of person I was, they sent me to a Guidance Counselor.Professor Roger Makanjuola, the current Vice Chancellor, who took care of me.You know he is renowned Psychiatrist. He handled all issues relating to psychiatry with me.

He said I was okay and that nothing was wrong with my preferences,sexual-wise.He said it was just because I lived in an environment that did not tolerate that kind of behavior.

He recommended me to another Guidance Counselor but I did not follow up.Even at that, there seems to be very little assistance one can get medically here.

This kind of phenomenon is not common and there are no experts vast in handling such issues here.

After a time,I tried going back to school but they told me I have stayed too long away from the system.I applied to change to UNILAG and OAU authorities promised to assist with my transcripts, but they did not send it early, that was how I lost the chance of changing to UNILAG.

HOW I BECAME A HOMOSEXUAL

I know this will shock you but I started having sex at the age of six(6)years.I had this cousin of mine who used to bring his friend to our house. He was the first to make love to me.I am now 26,but that is not the question.

Since I was small,I realized that I had this feeling that I was a woman.I used to paint myself up and wear girls’ clothes.Nobody stopped or cautioned me.

My mother is dead. She died when I was 11 years old.My father has other wives and no one particularly bothered about me.I am the last child of my mother, she had four of us.

THE MEN I HAVE SLEPT WITH

I told you I started having sex at the age of six,but no one in my family noticed the problem until I was 14 years old.

My father is a Professor of Education. My mother was also a Professor in the same discipline. When my dad got to know,I think he was among the people who made Professor Makanjuola to examine me.

The truth is that I had gone too far,and I don’t want to talk about my family in this issue.

I have slept with a lot of people but my problem is that they were not faithful to me.

They were not committed;we just have sex and they go away.

I wish to have a committed partner, that is why I have been trying to get a real lover, one that will care about me.

In the alternative, I will like to relocate abroad where my kind exist.

In the University, I had several lovers but they were not serious.I have several men that I sleep with,I won’t mention their names. They cut across the low and highly placed, just let’s leave it at that. What I want is a committed partner.

If I had a choice between getting cured and going for a surgery that will change my sex to a woman,I will prefer becoming a full woman.

I am already a Trans-sexual,the difference between me and other homosexuals is that while they just have the preference for sleeping with fellow men,I feel that I am a woman;I feel that someone should be making love to me the way men do to women.

Since I started having sex,I am usually the female, the dormant partner. But do you know that right now,I need two things;a lover that is commited to me or help me to relocate out of this country.

WeirdMc Interview With Mystreetzmedia

Weird MC (born Adesola Adesimbo Idowu) is a Nigerian rapper, songwriter, and producer. Known for her catchy English/Yoruba lyrics, androgynous appearance, and rumoured sexuality, Weird MC - also known as Shola Idowu and The Rappatainer - is one of Africa's token number of female rap artistes, and one of the few Nigerian women associated with Afrobeat.
Early life
Idowu, whose parents are from Ogun State, was born in England to conservative parents who did not encourage her to go into showbusiness, yet she was not discouraged. She had her secondary school education in Nigeria, where she made friends with four other girls, with whom she formed the hip-hop group Weirdos. Despite their popularity on the campus circuit, they failed to land a record deal, and soon disbanded.
Music career

Idowu gained admission into Ogun State University to study Law, but left a year later to focus on her music career. Influenced by Fela Kuti, Lauryn Hill, Da Roots, Miriam Makeba, Queen Latifah and Jimi Hendrix, Idowu travelled back to England where she competed in rap contests in London, including Club 291 contest, similar to America's Apollo, in which she came third. After working with music producer Kevin Best for two months, Idowu released the single Wanna Make You Jack/Let's Get Wet, which received positive reviews from music critics; it was also number one in the Choice FM charts. By now, Idowu had began to use the name by which she is now known - Weird MC, which was coined from the name of her former group
