On Saturday night at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center, American's Deontay Wilder and Haitian-Canadian professional boxer Bermane Stiverne faced each other in the boxing ring.
The unbeaten Deontay Wilder was defending his WBC heavyweight title for the sixth time.
Before the fight, they both had a faceoff where Stiverne promised to end Wilder's boxing career in the ring. Surprisingly, what his fans were expecting wasn't what they got.
When the bout started Deontay dropped Bermane Stiverne three times in a spectacularly
violent display before referee Arthur Mercante Jr intervened with one second left in the opening round.

Emma Stone Always Does These 5 Things & No One Has Noticed

Emma Stone is that rare breed of celeb who manages to toe the line between aspirational role model and BFF. She's the kind of girl you might go to for career advice (seeing as she's the highest paid actress in the world) and validation on a new haircut.
Sadly, the chance of tapping Stone for advice of any kind seems miniscule, so until we manage to breach her inner circle of friends, we'll have to make do with stalking her red carpet beauty looks. Turns out, there's a lot to choose from: We're talking colorful cat-eyes, throwback hairstyles, and vibrant pastel hues — and those are just three of the five trends she always has on rotation.

The Top Fashion Trends : Perfect Looks To Copy This November

"Hello, it's me," may be the start of Adele's hit song, but it also accurately describes me, sitting here in New York City, asking the weather to please cool down. Though September 21 signified the official start of the fall equinox, outside it's felt like anything but. 85 degrees one week into autumn? We won't get into the whole global warming thing here, but since this collection is meant to help make getting dressed each month easier, well, we've been finding ourselves at a bit of a loss.

Scottish childcare minister Mark McDonald resigns over 'inappropriate' behaviour

Mark McDonald

Scottish childcare minister Mark McDonald has resigned over allegations about his private life.

The MSP for Aberdeen Donside apologised "unreservedly to anyone I have upset or who might have found my behaviour inappropriate".

He said he was standing down as minister as a result.

In a statement, he said: "Some of my previous actions have been considered to be inappropriate - where I have believed myself to have been merely humorous or attempting to be friendly, my behaviour might have made others uncomfortable or led them to question my intentions.
"My behaviour is entirely my responsibility and I apologise unreservedly to anyone I have upset or who might have found my behaviour inappropriate.

"In light of my position in government, I believe it would not be appropriate for me to continue to serve in my role in the Scottish Government at this time and I have tendered my resignation as a minister.

IT HAPPENED TO ME: I Farted in My Tattoo Artist's Face While Getting My First Tattoo

“Wait one more year,” my mom kept telling me. I was 18 and like every other person “coming of age,” I wanted my first tattoo. I wasn’t particularly rebellious or whatever you want to call it. I was just young, and to be honest, I thought it would be cool to get a tattoo. I wanted a meaningful Bible verse on my ribcage. Total cliché, I know.

I decided to wait a year, for my mom, because she asked so nicely and was so concerned about my wellbeing. What’s one more year anyway, right? During that year, I finished high school and started my freshman year of college. I had gone with many friends as they got tattoos, and it always took a bit of self-restraint to not just say screw it and get one myself. When I went with friends, I was always the one holding their hands and taking photos. I couldn’t wait to be the one finally getting one.

Tumblr, YouTube, and Twitter have been leading the slang game recently. "Snatched" is officially the new "fleek," "sis" is the new "bro," and adding "boots" to the end of any adjective is totally a thing. Read on to learn all the new slang words the cool kids on the Internet are using.

1 Snatched

Snatched is the new fleek. It's used to describe anything that looks really good or on point. Anything from your eyebrows to your outfit can be snatched. If your eyebrows are slaying, they're snatched. If your outfit is slaying, it's snatched.

2 Sus

Sus comes from the word suspect. It's the Internet's word for sketchy or shady. Remember when Cady Heron gave Regina George Kalteen bars to "lose weight"? That was sus.

What Made Leonardo da Vinci a Genius?

Today, the term “genius” is bandied about to describe pop stars, stand-up comedians, and even footballers. But Leonardo da Vinci earned the description, explains Walter Isaacson in his lavishly illustrated new biography of the great Italian artist. From iconic paintings—“Mona Lisa” and “The Last Supper”—to designs for flying machines and ground-breaking studies on optics and perspective, Leonardo fused science and art to create works that have become part of humanity’s story. [Find out what science tells us about geniuses.]

When National Geographic caught up with Isaacson by phone at his home in Washington, D.C., he explained why Mona Lisa’s smile is the culmination of a lifetime of inquiry; how Michelangelo and Leonardo couldn’t stand each other; and why being curious was Leonardo’s defining trait.
