Alligator attack at Disney World: two-year-old boy's body recovered from lake

It should have been a dream vacation, a trip to the theme parks of Disney World to celebrate the start of the school summer break. But a family’s holiday at the so-called happiest place on Earth came to a horrifying end on Wednesday when the body of their two-year-old boy was recovered from a lake after he was snatched and dragged in by an alligator.

The father of the toddler fought with the animal, authorities said, but could do nothing except watch the alligator disappear back into the deep water with his son in its jaws.

On Wednesday afternoon, following an extensive 16-hour search and rescue effort by dozens of emergency personnel using sonar equipment, divers found and recovered the body of Lane Graves.

“There’s no question in my mind that the child was drowned by the alligator,” Orange County sheriff Jerry Demings had said at a 4.30pm press conference.

Shocking moment a knife-wielding man attacks a woman in broad daylight

A man was filmed attacking a woman with a knife in broad daylight, at a busy roadside in Datong City, Shanxi province, northern China. From the video shared, it looked like he was trying to kill her by trying to stab her several times with a large knife as she lay on the road.

The Maniac stayed on top of her and tried to cut her as she screamed for help. Trying to escape from his grasp, she courageously fought back, grabbing his wrist in a desperate bid to protect herself. 

 

What was disturbing about this video was that no one tried to help her, including the person filming it. It was a brave man who spotted them from the other side of the road that rushed over to her rescue and overpowered the frenzied street slasher from behind. Several male passersbys who were closer now joined to beat and tie him up. Local police have reportedly started an investigation into the crime. It's unclear if the man knew the woman...

Man accuses Ghanaian actor Van Vicker of sleeping with his wife, claims 'he has caught them at a hotel twice'

A U.S. based man has accused Ghanaian actor Van Vicker of having an affair with his wife.  The popular actor(pictured with the woman) is married to Adjoa Vicker and they have three kids together.

According to Ghnews360.com, the man identified as Dr. Bartum Kulah who is based in Atlanta Georgia, said the actor is having physical and emotional affair with his wife, Clarice Ford-Kulah who claims to be Vicker’s Manager and Business partner.

The statement is nothing but absolute falsehood and a complete fabrication of those who authored it.I have never made such a statement and there is no reason to.

My views on local,national or international issues are always posted and pasted on my blog or social media handle of which there is none of this.Those who want to fight "wars they need to fight" should have the courage to do so and not hide behind someone to fire their bullets.

I advice those mischief makers to stop using my name and desist from engaging in such defamatory and libelous statements against the Hon Minister.

Very hot drinks 'probably' cause cancer: UN body

PARIS — Drinking very hot beverages "probably" causes cancer of the oesophagus, the United Nation’s cancer agency said on Wednesday (June 15), while lifting suspicion from coffee if consumed at "normal
serving temperatures".
"These results suggest that drinking very hot beverages is one probable cause of oesophageal cancer and that it is the temperature, rather than the drinks themselves, that appears to be responsible," said Dr Christopher Wild, director of the International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC).

The agency reviewed more than 1,000 scientific studies on the possible cancer-causing properties of coffee and the popular South American herbal infusion mate.
