FRENCH MONTANA ADDRESSES BROKEN MARRIAGE, WIFE RESPONDS

French Montana and his wife of six years have allegedly parted ways, and of course there's two sides to the story. In an interview with THE BOOMBOX, French revealed him and his wife, Deen Kharbouch, have separated, saying "Man, I couldn't do it. That's why we got separated. At first it was smooth, but then as much as people think that money changes you, it's changing them around you. A person ain't gonna treat you the same now that they think you think you something."
"You around so many beautiful women, that's a conflict too," French said. "It's just about finding somebody that understand the game, what you're into. But then on the flip side, you gotta understand their game, what they into."
French's comments didn't sit too well with his wife, Deen Kharbouch, who says French abandoned her and their son two months ago after hitting it big. Kharbouch took to her Twitter account yesterday to address the remarks, stating, "@frenchmontana ur trying to use me to get a buzz. Your fans deserve to know the truth. They would be fans no more" and "@frenchmontana abandonment is NOT cool. Family First" French has yet to respond to his wife's Tweets. His debut album under Bad Boy, Excuse My French, is slated for a November release.

Chris Brown’s rep on his tattoo: It’s not Rihanna

A new tattoo on Chris Brown’s neck is raising some eyebrows.

The singer’s new ink is a black-and-white image of what some believe is a woman’s battered face. Brown pled guilty in 2009 to assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna and was ordered to serve five years probation. He also completed community service and a domestic violence program.

A rep for Brown denied that the new body art was of the “Umbrella” singer, or even of a beaten woman.

“His tattoo is a sugar skull (associated with the Mexican celebration of the Day of the Dead) and a MAC cosmetics design he saw,” his rep said in a statement. “It is not Rihanna or an abused woman as erroneously reported.”

So what do you make of it? Rihanna has been pretty vocal about her forgiveness of Brown and her desire to move on. The pair have collaborated on music, and they’ve reportedly started spending time in one another’s company again.

Rihanna recently told Oprah Winfrey that she “lost her best friend” in the wake of the assault and that she still cares for him, while MTV cameras caught the pair embracing at the Video Music Awards

50 Cent Talks Kanye West Beef, Says It Was Just ‘Good Marketing’

Fiddy recently addressed his beef with Kanye West.
both rappers dropped their third studio albums, Curtis and Graduation, respectively, ten years ago today (September 11). At the time, Fiddy vowed to retire from hip-hop if Kanye’s album outsold his – which it did.
Unfortunately for Fiddy, Kanye’s LP sold 957,000 while the former’s record shifted 691,000 units – although he didn’t retire. Reflecting on the hype, Fiddy says he never had any intention of retiring and the whole plan was to drum up attention for their albums.
“At the time, I had a stronger feel for the streets [than Kanye], prior to that competition and trying to compete with each other,” Fiddy told XXL Magazine.
“That was just to build energy because Kanye [and I]…we didn’t have no beef at all. You can’t stand that close to someone and take pictures for the cover of Rolling Stone with having beef.”
“That was something that we created. Obviously, it riled the fans up in every way and the results are always bigger sales than usual,” Fiddy continued to explain.
“Both of the numbers were bigger than what they would have been [without the competition]. It was just great marketing.

Nicki Minaj Thanks Obama For Understanding Her Romney Sarcasm

All it took was some input from President Obama to finally get Nicki Minaj talking about her now infamous Mitt Romney line on Lil Wayne's Dedication 4 mixtape.
Fans examined the line from every angle when the song originally premiered but this week President Obama weighed in, telling Orlando radio station Power 953 that the YMCMB rapper's alter egos likely had something to do with the line.
"I'm not sure that's actually what happened," Obama replied, when asked if he'd heard that Minaj might vote for Romney. "I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."
Check out what fans had to say about Nicki's Romney rap!
Well, Obama made a great guess. After hearing the president's comments, Minaj took to Twitter on Monday (September 10), finally clearing things up. "Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do... *sends love & support*" she wrote. "Awesome! Now I can tell my grandchildren that the 1st black President of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question.
In addition to clocking in a great story for her grandchildren, Nicki was also pretty amused at how far the controversy had gone, when it seemed clear that she was being sarcastic. "Thanks haters!" she added, "Lmaoooooooooooooooooooooooo. #BarbzWinAgainahahhahaahhahahahahhahahahhahahahahhahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now it seems pretty clear that Minaj will not be voting for Mitt Romney. After responding to the president's comments, she took some time to answer fan questions about her November release Pink Friday Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up, a re-release of her sophomore album with some additional new tracks.
Did you know it all along? Let us know if you share Nicki's sense of humor in the comments!

Jennifer Hudson: I've Forgiven Eric Balfour After Brutal Family Murder

Jennifer Hudson can forgive the man, but she can't forgive the act.
Less than a month after her brother-in-law, William Balfour, was convicted of murdering her 57-year-old mother, Darnell Donerson, her 29-year-old brother, Jason Hudson, and her 7-year-old nephew, Julian King, on October 24, 2008, the Academy Award winner shared her grief during an appearance on September 9 episode of Oprah's Next Chapter.
(On July 24, Balfour, 31, was sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison without the possibility of ever being paroled.)
"I'm not letting him off the hook for anything," Hudson, 30, told host Oprah Winfrey, 58. Though she holds him "very responsible" for murdering her immediate family members, Hudson said she's also learned to forgive Balfour.
"I feel like, for the most part, it's not his fault. It's what he was taught. How was brought up. We tried to offer love, but he was so far gone, he couldn't even see that. A lot of things came out [during the trial] that we didn't even know about from his upbringing. . . He never had a chance. He never had a chance," Hudson explained. "Had he had the love that my mother gave us, or the background that some have, then he would have stood a chance. How could your heart not go out to that?"
When Cook County Circuit Judge Charles Burns delivered Balfour's sentencing in July, the singer -- who finished in seventh place on American Idol in 2004 -- "felt so many things," she told Winfrey. "There was definitely a celebration because he's off the streets. My child [David, Jr., 3] is going to be safe."
Hudson's interview with Winfrey was conducted on August 14 -- what would have been her nephew's 11th birthday. "I haven't been to the grave site since we buried them, but now I want to go because I feel like, 'Okay, we've accomplished this. We've done this. We got justice for you. We can't come back here empty handed,'" Hudson said. "So now I feel like I deserve to be able to see them."
With Balfour behind bars, Hudson feels she's gotten closure -- even though the tragedy will haunt her forever. "I remember one time when William had an argument with my sister. They had split up he went up to her job and he told her, 'I'm gonna take Julian,'" Hudson shared. "And Julian went home and told my mother, and my mother said, 'Over my dead baby.' That's exactly what happened."

D'Banj disowns Nigerians, parties with Ladacris

African music maestro and entrepreneur, D’Banj was expected at an event last weekend in Lagos, but was no where to be found. We just reliably gathered that the Koko master joined other international superstars Akon, Ludacris, Kevin Hart, Pusha T and many other stars at the 7th Annual Luda Day Weekend which held over the weekend.
The five day event which was organized by the Ludacris Foundation included a celebrity basketball party as well as a Welcome to Atlanta Dinner.
D’Banj who only recently opened for British singer and songwriter Rita Ora is currently having a scintillating international career. He notes that artistes have come a long way from being just singers and musicians and are giving back positively to their communities. We’re wearing many hats now, ’entrepreneurs’ ‘activists’ ‘social icons’ ‘role models’ and so much more.”
“Music,at any time, can place millions of individuals on one united platform. We always say that music is our ‘bridge to connect with the people’. Well, its time more acts walked the talk, just like Ludacris and other artistes are doing, and give back to their community, he concluded.
