The BlackBerry Z30 Review
The BlackBerry Z30`s creators describe it as the most technological communicator of all similar products available in the market. This is a premium class device, so, of course, the price on it is fairly high. But it may significantly differ on various websites. Try look for the BlackBerry Z30 on Jiji, the leading marketplace in Nigeria. It`s quite logical that the wider the assortment, the
more opportunities to find the best deal.
Design
The front panel is equipped with 5" Super AMOLED display (PenTile) with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. Despite the significant advantages (deep black color, high contrast, bright saturated colors and low power consumption when displaying dark shades), the screen has some minuses as well - not the highest brightness, the white color is not as white as it should be, fonts don't look smooth. This is the standard criticism to all displays of this type, but we can`t call them bad or good – tastes differ. Above the screen there are front 2-megapixel camera, a quality earpiece, led light (flashes with red, green, blue and white). Below the display there is only the company`s logo - right underneath it you can see the microphone.
Runtown parts ways with his label, Eric Manny Records, claims threat to life
Nigerian singer, songwriter and producer Runtown has parted ways with his record label, Eric Manny Records (or at least he's trying to) and they didn't do so on the best of terms. Eric Manny, owned by billionaire businessman, Okwudili Umenyiora, has gotten a court injunction stopping Runtown from performing as an artist, amongst other things, pending when they settle their issues.
Runtown got his lawyers to write to the label, claiming threat to life, extortion, and that he didn't get his payment/royalties from performances, ring-back tunes and etc. He also said he has returned all properties he received from the label when he signed with them in 2014. Read his letter to the owner of Eric Manny and his lawyers letters after the cut...(will bring Eric Manny's side of the story later)

Harambe shooting: SECOND zoo gorilla dies just hours after silverback is killed in his enclosure
A second zoo gorilla has died in captivity just hours after Harambe was shot dead in his enclosure in Cincinnati.
Harambe, a 17-year-old silver back was shot dead by zoo workers after a four-year-old boy managed to crawl through a gap and fall into the enclosure.
The killing has led to an outcry on social media, with many calling the decision to shoot him unjustified with some questioning how the child was able to get into the animal's enclosure, the Birmingham Mail reports.
Astonishing footage released by an eye-witness shows the Harambe interacting with the child who he seems to be 'protecting' and at one point holds his hand.
Just hours after news of the shooting, it was revealed that a member of the gorilla troop at Dublin Zoo in Ireland has also passed away.
EXCLUSIVE: The most irresponsible parents in the world? Revealed, the convicted drug dealer and his partner whose son fell into zoo enclosure causing Harambe the gorilla to be shot
Seen here for the first time is mother Michelle Gregg, 32, who has four children by father Deonne Dickerson, 36, a man who, Daily Mail Online can disclose, has a lengthy criminal history.
Criminal filings against Dickerson stretch over a decade and include burglary, firearms offences, drug trafficking, criminal trespass, disorderly conduct and kidnap.
Mom and dad: Deonne Dickerson and Michelle Gregg are the parents of the four-year-old boy who fell into the gorilla enclosure housing Harambe on Saturday at Cincinnati Zoo
In 2006 he was sentenced to one year behind bars for a drug trafficking conviction.
But in numerous pictures posted on Dickerson's Facebook site in recent years he appears to have turned his life around to become the proud father of four.
Indeed, the majority of his postings to the social media site are updates of his children and his working life.
In others pictures he has uploaded his friends congratulate him and Michelle on the birth of their fourth child last January.
Together: Michelle Gregg and Deonne Dickerson at home
Cleveland based Dickerson is from Atlanta, Georgia and studied at Cuyahoga Community College, Ohio and now works as a sorter at a Cincinnati industrial equipment supplier.
Gregg is currently the administrator at a Cincinnati pre-school.
She has been the subject of sharp criticism following the incident that saw zoo staff shoot dead Harambe who, according to new video footage, may have been protecting rather than threatening the child after he crawled through a barrier and fell into the gorilla's enclosure.
Many social media commenters have criticized her and Dickerson and said they should be held accountable.
A Cincinnati police spokesman said no charges were being considered. A spokeswoman for the family said on Monday they had no plans to comment.
'I do think there's a degree of responsibility they have to be held to,' said Kate Villanueva, a mother of two children from Erlanger, Kentucky, who started the 'Justice for Harambe' page and attended a vigil on Monday at Cincinnati Zoo for Harambe.
'You have to be watching your children at all times.'
More outraged animal lovers took to social media declaring the western lowland gorilla's life was unnecessarily taken, and more than 4,000 have already joined 'Justice for Harambe'.

Australian '60 Minutes' condemned for involvement in alleged kidnapping
Australia -- The producer behind an Australian television program's involvement in a mother's botched child-snatching operation in Lebanon has lost his job, as the show's founder on Friday dubbed the debacle "the gravest misadventure in the program's history."
The comment by Australia's 60 Minutes founder Gerald Stone came amid the release of a damning internal review into the incident, in which the program paid a so-called child recovery agency to snatch an Australian woman's two children back from her estranged Lebanese husband.
Sally Faulkner said her children's father, Ali al-Amin, took them from their home in Australia to Beirut on a holiday last year and never returned. In April, Faulkner and a 60 Minutes crew covering her story went to Beirut in a bid to get back the children. But after agents hired by 60 Minutes grabbed the children off a Beirut street, the four-member TV crew, Faulkner, two agents from the Britain-based Child Abduction Recovery International company and two Lebanese men were jailed on kidnapping charges.
UK citizen 'who planned to blow up Heathrow airport' gets 40 years in US jail for supporting Al-Qaeda
A UK citizen who 'planned to blow up Heathrow airport' has been jailed for 40 years in the US for supporting Al-Qaeda.
Ming Quang Pham, aka Amin, had pleaded guilty to three counts of terrorist related activity.
Born in Vietnam, he used to live in New Cross and worked in a London branch of McDonald's - but intended to commit a massacre in his home city.
He is believed to have been personally trained by an Al Qaeda leader to carry out a devastating suicide attack and bomb Heathrow Airport , US court papers claimed.
They claim Pham, 33, was instructed to wear a backpack containing the bomb and target passengers arriving from America and Israel in an arrivals hall.
He was reportedly told by Al Qaeda chief Anwar al-Awlaki, who trained him, to place metal bolts around the bomb to cause as many casualties as possible.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police's Counter Terrorism Command in London confirmed tonight they have been liaising with their counterparts in New York over the case.
The unit said it provided key evidence that helped "shape the case" against Pham which "led to this successful prosecution".
Amber Heard accuses Johnny Depp of domestic abuse
LOS ANGELES -- A judge has ordered Johnny Depp to stay 100 yards away from his estranged wife, actress Amber Heard.
Heard said in a sworn declaration that Depp threw her cellphone at her during a fight Saturday, striking her cheek and eye. She submitted a picture of her bruised face when she applied for a restraining order Friday.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Carl H. Moor also ruled that Depp shouldn't try to contact Heard.
She filed for divorce Monday, citing irreconcilable differences and saying the pair separated the day before. She is seeking spousal support from the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, but Depp's response filed Wednesday asked a judge to deny the request.
Depp and Heard wed in 2015 were married for just 15 months.
Depp's attorney, Laura Wasser, declined to comment. Depp is in Portugal for a performance with his band Hollywood Vampires.
Gang rape of Brazil teen by more than 30 armed men posted to Twitter: Police
RIO DE JANEIRO -- Police said Friday that they have identified and are searching for four of the more than 30 men suspected in the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl, a case that has rocked Latin America's largest nation and highlighted its endemic problem of violence against women.
The announcement came as acting President Michel Temer called an emergency meeting of the security ministers for each of Brazil's states to consider gender-related crimes.
"It's absurd that in the 21st century we have to live with barbarous crimes like this," Temer said in a statement. He promised to create a federal police force unit tasked with tackling crimes against women.
The assault came to light after several men joked about the attack online, posting graphic photos and videos of the unconscious, naked teen on Twitter.
Police also asked for the public's help to track down the four men and identify the others. Local reports said more than 800 people had called a hotline that was set up to share information.

Nigeria facing 'tomato Armageddon' over crop infestation

Rose Edet never thought buying tomatoes for her busy Lagos restaurant would be an issue. But the rising cost is causing her a headache and affecting her customers' favourite Nigerian dishes.
"We are facing tomato Armageddon," she told AFP in the Ikoyi district of the city. "I have never seen this situation before in my 36 years in existence."
Tomato prices in Nigeria have been steadily climbing for months, caused by unrest in northern and central states where the crop is grown and this has affected farmers' ability to plant and harvest.
Fuel price increases and a fall in imports due to a foreign exchange shortage have contributed to the scarcity and now a major crop infestation has worsened the already bleak tomato outlook.
The Tuta absoluta moth, dubbed "tomato Ebola" by local farmers, has destroyed more than 80 percent of tomato farms in the northern state of Kaduna, its agriculture commissioner Manzo Daniel said Tuesday.
Obama in Hiroshima calls for 'world without nuclear weapons'
Barack Obama on Friday became the first sitting U.S. president to visit Hiroshima, where he called for a "world without nuclear weapons" during his remarks at the city's Peace Memorial Park.
Obama said that "71 years ago on a bright, cloudless morning, death fell from the sky and the world was changed."
"A flash of light and a wall of fire destroyed a city, and demonstrated that mankind possessed the means to destroy itself," the President added during his address at the site of the first nuclear bombing.
This is about to be the best reason to switch from iPhone to Android
Probably the hottest point of contention in the Tech Insider newsroom is whether Android or iOS is the better ecosystem.
I tend to come down on team Droid. The affordability and openness of Google's ecosystem offers huge advantages over Apple's closed iOS. But I understand the case for iPhones: They're reliable, always up to date, and (mostly) just work.
7 undercover inmates spent 2 months in jail — here are the most outrageous things they witnessed
Drugs, violence, and prostitution: It's just another day at Clark County Jail in Jeffersonville, Indiana.
Participants on the A&E documentary series "60 Days In" experienced these shocking realities firsthand.
The show follows seven undercover inmates who spent two months in the jail to expose problems within the system.
The participants — who were booked under false charges and assumed false identities throughout their stays — lived among the jail's 500-inmate population without corrections officers or other inmates discovering their secret.
At the end of their two months, the participants informed Clark County Sheriff Jamey Noel of the inner workings of jail life, like how inmates were inventing drugs with household materials and where they were stashing homemade weapons. They also revealed the psychological toll the deplorable living conditions took on them.
A&E has already completed filming the show's second season, which will premier in August. The final episode of season 1, a reunion special, airs tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
Here are some of the most shocking moments:
Drug use is rampant at Clark County Jail. Inmates often invented bizarre homemade drugs to catch a buzz, such as a "crack stick," made from an electronic cigarette filter.
The most powerful Bentley ever sold is also one of the best-looking
I don't have a lot to say about these new Bentleys that were rolled out in New York City this week — they're very mildly refreshed versions of the existing Continental GT Speed and its various derivatives. But there are two very important takeaways: one, at 633 horsepower and 620 lb-ft. of torque, these are the most powerful production Bentleys in history. Two, the "Open Ocean" configuration of the GT Speed coupe shown at the event is probably the most beautiful version of the Continental that Bentley has ever displayed. I wouldn't have counted on a metallic blue body to work with bright, solid red trim, but here it is, and it looks amazing. Rims, lamps, and interior bits are all darkened, giving the car a menacing feel — which seems appropriate, considering the ridiculous 6-liter twin-turbo W-12 mill under the hood. Yes, it's just a Continental — the car that Autoblog has occasionally taken to calling "the Camry for rich people" — but it's just about the baddest-ass rich-folk Camry you're going to find. And it better be: the updated GT Speed starts at $240,300 when deliveries kick off this summer, going up to $277,235 for a Black Edition convertible.

'I can't stop Ekiti workers from going on strike, these are perilous times' - Ayo Fayose
Ekiti State Governor, Ayo Fayose says he cannot stop workers in the Ekiti state civil service who intend to go on strike over unpaid salaries. Fayose said this in an interview session with pressmen yesterday May 25th
And since I became governor I have always put this before the leadership of labour, each time they give us a figure from Abuja, I give the paper to them for them to share and bring it for signature. Obviously at some point we all realized that there was nothing to share or probably for what we earn when you are to pay 2.5 or 2.6 billion as wage bill and you now get 1billion, you get 800million, you get 1.2billion, there is nothing to share. So rotating an alternating payment in terms of paying the university, the college of education, higher institution and so on, we pay them this month and pay the major work force next month. That has been the practice and we work with a technical committee of labour and government, we meet monthly to disburse.
"I want to make some clarification particularly on issues that affects the welfare of our workers. I want to say very expressly that workers are the engine room of government and they deserve all the encouragement but currently we are in crisis financially, the average wage bill in terms of payment of workers is between 2.5 to 2.6billion which includes parastatals, university, college of education and all that.
Why some couples have more sex
If researchers seem a bit, well, voyeuristic with regard to people's sex lives, there's good reason for it: In heterosexual marriages, the happier people are with the sexual lives, the happier they are with their relationships. And if you want to know how much a newlywed couple is enjoying and having sex — and really, who doesn't — then look at their personalities.
Specifically, look at the wife's personality. If she's super curious about life and easy to be around, it's more likely that the couple is getting laid, or so says a new study. The man's personality, on the other hand, doesn't seem to have much of an effect on how often the couple has sex.
