Women who drink every day – however little – are 13 per cent more likely to be diagnosed with certain cancers, according to a study published today in the British Medical Journal.

They were most likely to develop breast cancer followed by tumours of the liver, bowel, throat, mouth, oesophagus and larynx.
The Harvard research came with a drastic warning in a BMJ editorial.

Former Subway spokesman Jared Fogle is planning to plead guilty to child-pornography charges, FOX59 reports.
Sources told FOX59 that Fogle will accept a plea deal.
The US Attorney's office is planning to hold a press conference to discuss the deal on Wednesday, according to the report.
The report comes after the FBI raided Fogle's Zionsville, Indiana, home in July.

Teenager who was born with hundreds of birthmarks over her entire body embraces it


This is a story about courage and loving yourself no matter what. We should all be thankful for who we are at all times.
A teenage girl who has been verbally abused for years by other children has revealed how she has come to love the hundreds of birthmarks covering her face and body.
Ciera Swaringen, 19, of Rockwell, North Carolina, was diagnosed with Giant Congenital Melanocytic Nevus after being born with the oversized mole-like marks.
They cover more than two-thirds of her body, with the largest one stretching from her navel to her lower thighs. 
Since she was a small child, she has had to endure cruel taunts from other children - and adults - but she has developed a positive attitude towards her rare skin condition, which affects around one in every 500,000 people.

Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha said the man was seen on closed-circuit television footage near the site of a bomb blast that killed 22 people yesterday, including eight foreigners.
"I have ordered the cameras be checked because there is one suspect, but it is not clear who he is," Prayuth told reporters at Bangkok's Government House.
No images of the individual have yet been released.

The 17-year-old was last seen leaving her parent's house in Meissen, in the German state of Saxony, at 7.30pm.
Police found Anneli's dog alive and searched a nearby yard after a sniffer dog led officers there, but there was no sign of the missing girl.

More than 300 Clinton emails flagged for potentially classified info

The number of Hillary Clinton emails flagged for potentially classified content has grown to more than 300, Fox News has learned -- with the potential to grow even more as officials scramble to screen the documents. 
The State Department revealed the updated count in a federal court filing, which pertained to Clinton emails sent to other agencies for review. An official familiar with the investigation confirmed to Fox News that, as referenced in that filing, the department has recommended 305 of Clinton's emails be sent to various agencies for review to see whether they contain classified information.

A bomb has exploded close to a shrine in the centre of Thailand's capital, Bangkok, killing at least 19 people and injuring more than 120.
The Erawan Shrine, which was crowded at the time, is a major tourist attraction and foreigners, including Chinese, are among the casualties.
No-one has yet said they carried out the attack.
Defence Minister Prawit Wongsuwon said the bombers had "targeted foreigners... to damage tourism and the economy".
"We will hunt them down," he said.

An American man famed for dressing up as Batman and visiting sick children in hospital has died after he was hit by a car in Hagerstown, Maryland.
Police said Leonard Robinson's car had broken down in the fast lane of a major highway when the incident occurred.
He was struck by his own "Batmobile" after another car careered into it.
Robinson, 51, rose to fame in 2012, when a video went viral of him being pulled over by police because his car had invalid number plates.
Known as the "Route 29 Batman", Robinson had spent the last 14 years visiting sick children in hospital and handing out Batman paraphernalia in full superhero dress.

Newborn baby found abandoned inside a box in the Saudi city of Makkah


The abandoned baby was found in street inside a box by Police patrol in the Saudi city of Makkah. According to Dubai-based Al Bayan Daily, the police came to know after it heard the sound of the crying baby with the umbilical cord still attached to it.

The Spolice in a joint effort with Red Crescent teams took the baby to the Children's Hospital where doctors are currently examining him. An investigation and search team was also formed to look for the parents of the abandoned baby.

There was a lot of excitement in the industry when the Russian energy giant Gazprom announced a mammoth $400 billion (£256 billion), 30-year export deal to China in May 2014, but the agreement is now coming under extreme pressure on numerous fronts.
Morgan Stanley analysts on Monday morning suggested that construction of the necessary pipeline would be delayed by at least six months, taking the initial exports to mid-2019 at the earliest.
The initial deal had talked about beginning supplies as early as 2018.

A man who saw the attack which took place around 3am, through his window called the police.

Lamar was reportedly stabbing E'Dean and screaming: 'Get out, devils. In the name of Jesus Christ, I cast you out'. The aspiring actor had a history of drug abuse. He's currently at New York's Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center to undergo psychological testing before being questioned by police.
