Vanilla Ice is not dead — just the latest victim of a Global Associated News death hoax.
The vile prank site posted a “report” about the rapper being involved a “single vehicle crash” and later being “pronounced dead at the scene” on Monday.
It is 100% fake.
Vanilla Ice is alive and well, although understandably annoyed by the death hoax and the panic in triggered among his loved ones.
“I don’t know who’s spreading this rumor about me dying in a car crash but – I’M ALIVE !” he tweeted after the car accident report went viral. “I have like 30 texts, from mom family and friends.”
Here’s hoping the death rumor trend dies out soon.

At least 24 Dead, 125 wounded In Church Bombings And Reprisal Attacks In Kaduna-DailyTrust

Daily Trust has confirmed that at least 13 people lost their lives in the bomb attacks on three churches in Kaduna this morning.

In addition, about 11 others have been killed in reprisal attacks across the town.

According to Dr. Taylor Adeyemi, the acting Chief Medical Director of St. Luke's hospital in Wusasa, 40 victims, mostly children were brought into their hospital following the blast at ECWA in Wusasa. Of this number, three were dead on arrival.

From the blast at the Christ the King Cathedral at No. 80 Yoruba street Daily Trust confirmed 10 dead and over 50 injured. Daily Trust is yet to get details of the casualties from the Trikania attack.

Three churches were attacked yesterday morning by suicide bombers in Kaduna. One went off at the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA) church, Wusasa and another at the Christ the King Cathedral Catholic church at No. 80, Yoruba Street, Sabon Gari, Zaria, just behind the Army Depot, Zaria where all Nigerian soldiers receive their basic training. The third church, Shalom Church at Trikania close to Abuja Fly over and Textile Labour house, was hit by multiple explosions around 10:17am.

Also, about 35 victims of the reprisal attacks that followed the bombing have been taken to St. Gerard's Hospital within the metropolis according to the hospitals public relations officer. Seven of them were dead on arrival, burnt by their presumed assailants.

The explosions sparked violence in Kaduna as christian youths retaliated, moving around with cutlasses and sticks among other weapons. Sources say the youths  burnt a mosque at Television area and another at Goningora was broken into and vandalised in retaliation for the attacks on the three churches.

Men of Operation Yaki are said to have taken charge of the situation, especially around Goningora which is along the Abuja-Kaduna expressway and where Christian youths were beginning to get violent. An eyewitness told Daily Trust he saw four dead bodies near the Goningora mosque. Other trouble spots so far identified are Sabo, Trikania, Television area, Tudun Wada and Unguwan Rimi.

Road blocks have been set up at strategic areas and traffic along the expressway which was initially halted is now being allowed with military escorts. Other areas of Kaduna metropolis are experiencing an uneasy calm.

The Abuja-Kaduna expressway links many states in the North to Abuja.

Two Students Of Igbinedion University, Okada, Killed In Cult-Militants Clash

At least two students of the Igbinedion University in Okada, Edo State, were reportedly beheaded today when former militants who are also students, clashed with other students believed to be cult members.  Several people were also injured.
The incident, which started at about 7a.m continued into the afternoon, with properties worth millions of Naira destroyed in the process.
Some students said an earlier attack on a former Niger Delta militant by a local cult group on campus caused  the clash. The ex-militant reportedly mobilized his boys to the university to avenge a humiliating experience   as early as 7am.
So many   of the students on campus were sending distress calls to their parents and guardians, while a few other fled the campus as police did not arrive on time to stop the carnage.
There are about 200 ex-militants on admission at Igbinedion University under the Federal Government’s amnesty and retraining programme.
The identity of the dead students is not yet known.

Kardashian kids tell Oprah about their relationship with momager Kris Jenner

Kris Jenner rules with an iron fist when it comes to her kids' careers, but none of the Kardashian siblings agree with claims that their momager is "pimping" them out.
Kim, Khloe, Kourtney and Rob Kardashian sat down with Oprah Winfrey in an interview for OWN's "Next Chapter" show Sunday, and the talk show host didn't waste any time getting into the nitty gritty details of the fame-friendly family.
"What do you say to people - and you've heard it - when you hear people say your mother is pimping her children?" Winfrey asked the foursome.
"I think that's so ridiculous, because first of all, we have to hire a manager, so regardless, someone is going to get that (money)," Kim said. "No one will fight harder for you than your own mother."
Added the reality star: "She knows all our moods."
Jenner was named one of the top 10 highest-paid reality TV celebrities in 2010, according to Jezebel.
In the interview, the Kardashian siblings also discussed why they think they've shot to success when so many people believe them to be "famous for being famous."
"Could this have happened if you were not all good-looking kids?" Winfrey questioned.
"To be honest, probably not. You have to have this bombshell over here and this petite little bundle of joy," Khloe offered. "And this hunk next to me."
But younger brother Rob wasn't quite so kind in his assessment of the group’s looks.
"As women, they're not skinny women," he countered. "They're not models here."
But when his famous sisters shot him forced smiles, he clarified: "I just mean I think you're great role models for women and young girls."

Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Cruise Streets of Paris in Drop-Top Lamborghini

On Sunday, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted cruising the streets of Paris in a white drop-top Lamborghini. The E! star stunned with her hair pulled back in a ponytail, smiling alongside her rapper beau as he took the wheel of the très-chic car.
Fortunately for those of us living vicariously through Kim, the brunette beauty chronicled her trip to the City of Light on Twitter…
"Oh hiiiii Paris!!!" she tweeted Saturday, along with an aerial shot of the famed city. She also linked to several Instagram shots of an "Eiffel Tower treat,"  a "romantic" wine cellar and place settings, "magical" flowers and of course a shot of herself flashing a peace sign with the Eiffel Tower in the background.
She even posted an Instagram photo of escargot and posed the question to her fans, "To eat or not to eat?"
We vote not, but then again, our palates aren't as refined as Kimye's.

Death Wish’ New Jersey cop surrenders after 10-hour standoff with police outside estranged wife’s home

Richard Klementovich is shown in this Facebook photo. Klementovich, a police officer from Clifton, N.J., barricaded himself in a Doylestown, Pa., home on Sunday and shot at authorities outside. He eventually surrendered shortly before midnight.

A New Jersey cop embittered by his divorce and angry about his job had a haunting Father's Day wish: to die in a hail of police bullets.
"They will do the job I couldn't and take my life," Clifton cop Richard Klementovich wrote in an email to his estranged wife after barricading himself in their former home in Pennsylvania with several high-powered rifles and piles of ammunition on Sunday, the Doylestown Intelligencer reported.
"I hope whomever comes to our house is ready to die tomorrow because I will be."
In the end, the disturbed 42-year-old climbed out a second-story window, wearing a bullet-proof vest and a gas mask, and surrendered to police, the Doylestown Intelligencer reported.
Klementovich, who was off duty at the time, was arrested at around 11:45 p.m., nearly 10 hours after the standoff began.
Cops said the incident started after Klementovich set up a Father's Day lunch with his ex-wife, Jill Major, and their two young children, the newspaper reported.
But instead of going to the restaurant, Klementovich went to their former home in Doylestown, called police and left a note in the driveway saying he had "scoped" rifes, piles of ammunition and was "ready to die."
Police showed up around 2 p.m.
Shortly after, cops heard gunfire coming from the house.
For the next 10 hours, cops say Klementovich took potshots at local authorities and SWAT teams gathered outside the home.
Several police vehicles were hit and one officer suffered shrapnel wounds to his face.
Klementovich also sent a handful of emails to his wife, including one that said he was "angry" at the Clifton police force.
In another, he admitted to abusing steroids, and said he was planning to commit suicide-by-cop.
"Tell the police I have a surprise for them, this is the way I want to die," he said in an email, according to the Intelligencer.
Negotiators eventually coaxed him out, and he surrendered peacefully.
The Gulf War veteran and 18-year police vet was charged with more than 13 counts of attempted murder and reckless endangerment on Monday morning.
A judge set his bail at $1 million and ordered him to undergo a mental health evaluation.
Klementovich earned nearly $115,000 as a police officer.
Fellow cops said he was a dedicated officer, but troubled by the breakup of his marriage last year.

Chris Brown: Meek Mill Did NOT Attack Me With Bottle

Chris Brown is disputing reports that rapper Meek Mill attacked him during the nightclub brawl between Brown’s crew and Drake’s entourage at New York’s club W.i.P. early Thursday.
Numerous outlets claimed Mill was the person who hit Brown in the head with a bottle, causing a gash on his chin.
But Brown appears to have cleared up that rumor on Twitter.
On Thursday afternoon, the performer wrote, “Me and @MeekMill ain’t on that bulls**t. Real respect Real….”
Mill also addressed the report on Twitter, saying he ”wasn’t even really in” the fight.
