Ched Evans rape trial recap: Footballer's 'victim' described as "some fat bird" and filmed having sex
Ched Evans returned to the witness stand to continue giving evidence in his rape retrial at Cardiff Crown Court today.
The jury heard that the 27-year-old footballer told police in an interview: “Footballers are rich, they’ve got money, that’s what girls like.”
The prosecution questioned why he hadn't spoken to the alleged victim throughout and he told the court: "It wasn’t really a time for conversation".
Evans' younger half-brother Ryan Roberts, who was stood outside the hotel room window on the night of the alleged incident with a friend, also took to the stand.
The court heard Mr Robert's friend described the woman as "some fat bird" before they filmed the alleged victim and Clayton McDonald in the hotel room.
Evans is on trial for a second time over allegations he attacked the woman at a Premier Inn near Rhyl, North Wales, in May 2011.
TRUMP: 'The shackles have been taken off me'
Donald Trump signaled on Tuesday morning that his campaign would no longer be restrained by advice from Republican Party officials.
"It is so nice that the shackles have been taken off me and I can now fight for America the way I want to," the real-estate tycoon wrote on Twitter.
The tweet came amid a feud with House Speaker Paul Ryan, the highest-ranking elected Republican in the country.
On Monday, Ryan told Republican members of Congress on a conference call that he would no longer defend or campaign for Trump.
Ryan's announcement prompted Trump to descend into a Tuesday morning tweetstorm in which he attacked the Wisconsin Republican as a "disloyal" and "weak and ineffective leader."

ZOLA THE STRIPPER BREASTFEEDING & HOOTERS GO TOGETHER Like Wings & Hot Sauce
Zola's pic of her breastfeeding her 5-month-old daughter got torn apart by Twitter trolls -- who've called her everything from a "child abuser" to a "molester" for choosing to open the milk bar for all to see.
Zola, whose real name is Aziah King, is a former Hooters waitress and tells us she was shocked by the backlash because she breastfeeds in malls, grocery stores and even church. As for the Hooters hate, she thinks it's hypocritical to ask her to cover her boobs in a place that celebrates them.
BTW, she says no one at the restaurant said a thing, so she didn't think it was a big deal. The way Zola puts it, if her daughter's hungry ... she's gonna eat.
So we gotta ask ...

The Iran deal has Obama 'held hostage' while the Middle East descends into chaos
On October 18 of last year, the US, the European Union, China, Russia, and Iran adopted the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, ensuring that Iran's nuclear program would be peaceful for at least a decade and securing a signature foreign-policy achievement for the Obama administration.
Credible reports indicate that Iran was weeks away from developing a nuclear warhead before the JCPOA took hold, but while nuclear proliferation may have been averted, other kinds of suffering have become frighteningly commonplace.
According to Dr. Jonathan Schanzer, a Middle East expert who is a vice president of research at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, the scope of the agreement focused too narrowly on nuclear developments and left glaring omissions that Iran has exploited.

I have perfect vision, and yet I wear these computer glasses every day — here’s why
What I have had, though, is a very strange sleeping pattern. In high school, college, and beyond, I would routinely stay up, sleepless, until all hours of the night. That's a common story for people who love gadgets, and some attribute it to "blue light."
In a nutshell, blue light is the part of the light spectrum that gets deepest into your eye. Being exposed to it tells your brain, "Hey, you should be up." Before electricity, humans would get most of their blue light from the sun. Get up when the sun was up, get drowsy when the sun went down, and repeat.
