Spain's embassy in Afghanistan is under attack

The Taliban claimed responsibility for a car bomb attack on a guest house near the Spanish embassy in Kabul on Friday, and said fighting was still going on at the scene.
Gunfire was reported immediately following the explosion, in a heavily protected area of the capital close to many foreign embassies and government buildings. Officials said police were on the scene.

A man was caught on CCTV taking photos up a woman's skirt in a a store. According to the police, the incident happened in a branch of the high street chemist in the Tandem Centre, Colliers Wood, south London. The Scotland Yard today, December 11 launched an appeal to trace the man.

Chef killed after he fell on a wine glass and bled to death on family holiday

A chef was killed after he fell on his wine glass while on holiday, an inquest heard .
Father-of-two Sam Sommerville, 36, bled to death after the glass he was holding pierced his neck.
Mr Sommerville was on a seaside caravan park holiday, near Withernsea, East Yorks, with his family when the accident happened on August 15, this year.
An inquest into his death at Hull Coroner’s Court heard how he had been staying at his father and stepmother’s caravan at Sand Le Mere Caravan Park in Tunstall, where he was visiting with his wife and children.

Oklahoma ex-police officer accused of sexually assaulting more than a dozen women has been found guilty

After four days of deliberations, an Oklahoma jury reached a verdict in the case of a former police officer accused of raping and sexually assaulting 13 women while on duty.
Former Oklahoma City policeman Daniel Holtzclaw was found guilty on 18 of 36 counts, including four counts of rape in the first degree.
Oklahoma's News9 channel is reporting that the sentences add up to 263 years in prison.
Sentencing is set for January. Holtzclaw could face life in prison.

Bollywood star, Salma Khan acquited in a hit-and-run case


An appeal court on Thursday, December 10, has acquitted Bollywood star Salman Khan in a drunken-driving, hit-and-run case from more than a decade ago. The Bombay High Court on threw out an earlier conviction and five-year sentence given the 49-year-old actor.

 The Press Trust of India news agency quoted the judges as saying that prosecutors had failed to prove charges accusing Khan of driving while intoxicated in 2002 and running over five men sleeping on a sidewalk, killing one of them.

Sad Former Super Eagles Coach, Stephen Keshi's wife dies at 54


Former Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi lost his wife last night December 9th. Mrs Kate Keshi died in the US after being ill for a while. Confirming her death, Keshi said; "I'm still in shock of this great loss. She was my rock.". Sad! She was 54 years old. May her soul rest in peace, Amen.

Former Mouseketeer Marque 'Tate' Lynche Found Dead At 34

Marque "Tate" Lynche, a former Disney Mouseketeer and "American Idol" contestant, was found dead in his New York City apartment on Sunday, Dec. 6, according to TMZ. Lynche was 34. 
Lynche appeared on Season 3 of "American Idol" and starred in Broadway's "Lion King" in 2000. He performed alongside the likes of Christina Aguilera, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Ryan Gosling during his 1993-1995 stint with Disney's "Mickey Mouse Club."
"There was no note, no pills," said police in a conversation with the New York Daily News, after deeming the death suspicious. "We're waiting on the medical examiner."

Islamic State militants are making £26 million a month selling oil with large volume going to the Syrian government, it's been claimed.
U.S. officials say the terrorist organisation is engaged in a major oil trade with some finding its way to Turkey.
Senior U.S. Treasury official Adam Szubin today said: "ISIL is selling a great deal of oil to the Assad regime.
"The volumes we are talking about and the amounts of money we are talking about are very sizeable."
Szubin, acting Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Intelligence with the U.S. Treasury, was speaking at Chatham House in London.
