Russia has reportedly equipped its warplanes flying in Syria with air-to-air missiles for self-defense for the first time, Reuters reported on Monday, citing Russian news agencies.
The move comes one week after aRussian Su-34 fighter bomber was shot down by Turkish F-16 jets, in an incident that has heightened tensions between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Turkish President Tayyip Recep Erdogan.
The missiles, which are reportedly capable of hitting targets at a distance of up to 37 miles, will supplement the state-of-the-art S-400 missile systems Russia says it has deployed to the Russian Hemeimeem air base near Latakia, Syria — about 30 miles south of the Turkish border.

World leaders launch bid for climate breakthrough in Paris

World leaders launched an ambitious attempt on Monday to hold back the earth's rising temperatures, with French President François Hollande saying the world was at "breaking point" in the fight against global warming.

Some 150 heads of state and government, including US President Barack Obama and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping, urged each other to find common cause in two weeks of bargaining to steer the global economy away from its dependence on fossil fuels.
They arrived at United Nations climate change talks in Paris accompanied by high expectations and armed with promises to act. After decades of struggling negotiations and the failure of a summit in Copenhagen six years ago, some form of landmark agreement appears all but assured by mid-December.

Justin Theroux: 9/11 was the best thing to happen to New Yorkers

Celebrities Visit "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert" - November 18, 2015
An extra on the set of HBO’s “The Leftovers” was offended by an off-handed remark Justin Theroux made about 9/11.
We’re told the hunky actor, who is married to Jennifer Aniston, was overheard saying in front of others on the show: “9/11 was the best thing that happened to NYers,” followed by a story about getting a deal on rent.
“He said at the end of the process, the landlord was so mad, they threw the keys at him,” said our tipster.
But a rep for Theroux, whose Greenwich Village apartment was profiled in the NY Times in 2003 for its eclectic décor made up of things he’d found in the trash, told us: “As a New Yorker and someone who has lived downtown for over 20 years, Justin would not make jest of 9/11.”

I Have Surrendered My Life to Jesus – Actor Sylvester Stallone

Popular American actor, Sylvester Stallone recently made a very important decision in his life. And it's not another blockbuster film. He announced that he "has surrendered his life to the Lord Jesus Christ."

Stallone made this life-changing announcement before releasing his latest ROCKY movie. However, his "public announcement" was not covered by the news media. If he had announced he was GAY, all the media, TV shows and newspapers would have given it full coverage.

Meet Burna Boy, The Nigerian Singer Putting Africa First

Meet Burna Boy, The Nigerian Singer Putting Africa FirstBy the time we get to Burna Boy’s house in Lagos on the night of Halloween, it’s around 11:30 pm and the noise from a nearby generator is buzzing against the soft sound of falling rain. Two armed soldiers follow Burna Boy wherever he goes and, tonight, he’s just getting in from a show in Ikeja, a neighborhood on the other side of the sprawling city. Many of Nigeria’s major pop stars were enlisted to perform at an event sponsored by a telecoms company, but instead of sticking around to mingle with elder statesmen like P-Square, Burna leaves right away.

Singer Sinead O'Connor attempts suicide, says 'my family betrayed me' in suicide note

Popular 90s singer Sinead O'Connor reportedly took an overdose of pills earlier today after leaving a suicide note saying her family does not care, have betrayed her so much, and blamed them for her suicide attempt. TMZ reports below...
The note, posted Sunday morning, alleges "appalling cruelty" on the part of her husband, her children and even her son's girlfriend -- and she says it all started when she had a hysterectomy in August. Sinead claims they've been keeping her babies from her, and she just couldn't take it anymore.
The 48-year-old singer wrote, "I have taken an overdose. There is no other way to get respect. I am not at home. I'm at a hotel, somewhere in Ireland, under another name. I've been howling crying for weeks. And been told by them all to go f*** myself. I'm invisible. I don't matter a shred to anyone."
Sinead has four children, ranging in age from 9 to 28. She's currently married to Barry Herridge -- the therapist she married in Las Vegas after meeting on the Internet.
She has since been found safe and sound in a hotel in Dublin and she's currently getting medical attention

barber1
It's really easy to make sure your haircut is perfect every time.
All that's required is a little bit of forethought and a few key facts to remember to tell your barber.
Good barbers will sometimes ask these questions all on their own, but if not, take a proactive approach. After all, it's your hair.
So the next time your barber asks, "What are we doing today?" this is exactly what you should say:

The 27 jobs that are most damaging to your health

Anaesthesioloigst

Some jobs intrinsically have more health risks than others. A nurse working in a hospital is more likely to catch an infectious disease than a lawyer working in an office, for example.
To rank the most unhealthy jobs in America, we used data from theOccupational Information Network, a US Department of Labor database full of detailed information on occupations.
In order to analyze jobs by their impact on workers' health, we took O*NET measures of six health risks in each of the 974 occupations in the database: exposure to contaminants; exposure to disease and infection; exposure to hazardous conditions; exposure to radiation; risk of minor burns, cuts, bites, and stings; and time spent sitting, since studies show that frequent inactivity shortens your lifespanO*NET scores these factors on a scale from 0 to 100, with a higher score indicating an increased health risk.
