600 Pound Fat Man Asks for Help on YouTube

Robert Gibbs cried out on YouTube the day before his 23rd birthday to ask the world to spread the word that he needs help. He stated that he is somewhere between 600 and 700 pounds, maybe more, and that this was his last chance to lose weight.“I’m making this video because I don’t know what else to do,” Robert stated in his video. He said that he has tried just about everything to lose weight, and even when he manages to do so, it just comes back. One of his main reasons for making the video was that he is afraid he won’t get to see his niece and nephew grow up. He also said he was scared, “I’m not going to have a family of my own.”Robert pleaded with the viewers of the video to spread it along until someone sees it who could help. He said maybe even the “Biggest Loser” or Dr. Phil might be able to help him. During the three minute video, it was easy to see that this was a man who truly wanted help and really had nowhere else to turn. The Internet has so far shown Robert much compassion. Most comments on his video were supportive, and the naysayers and trolls were shut down quickly when they did appear; however, the negative comments made are usually out of ignorance.

In the ABC News reporting of this story, Dr. Lou Arrone, director of the Comprehensive Weight Control Program at NY-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, said it is not as easy as dieting. He stated that obesity becomes a disease in the brain. The chemical signals in the brain that control weight are not functioning properly. While most people have signals that tell them how much fat is stored in the body, people like Robert do not. Many professionals in the health community have already reached out to Robert. A spokesperson from “Dr. Phil” actually did contact him as well as previous contenders from “The Biggest Loser.” Many weight loss experts have also been in contact with Robert since the video went viral, as well.3m360 reported that Robert has suffered from diabetes for years. He mainly lives on fast food to feed his appetite because it is more affordable, and he has been in the hospital twice because of weight complications.Gibbs told Dr lori when interviewed, “I guess it’s a good birthday for me.” Hopefully there will be plenty more to follow.

A 40-year-old man, Emmanuel Chinedu, has been sentenced to a one-year jail term by the Ebute Meta Magistrates’ Court for stealing a shirt and four pieces hair attachment worth N4,800.
The Magistrate, O.O. Olatunji, in handing down the sentence, gave Mr. Chinedu, no option of fine, after he pleaded guilty to a three-count-charge bearing on felony and stealing.
The prosecutor, Paul Ojogo, had told the court that the accused, at about 3a.m on March 2, broke into the store of Chukwuma Ezenwa at Iddo, a Lagos suburb, to steal a shirt and the attachments.
He said the accused, who had no occupation and was of no fixed address, was released from prison five months ago.

FIRE OUTBREAK AT CLUB Q FORMER JONZING, MURDERED OWNER'S DEATH STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION

It's been 28 days now since the owner of the Club SQ-bar/lounge, restaurant and Night club- Susan Yusuf was murdered in dastardly way. According to very reliable sources the death of the entrepreneur in the hands of her 'errand boy'- Idris is far more than how it might have been reported. Idris the alleged murderer is said not to be her boyfriend after all, but a certain Obalende dude who used to work for her one way or the other. The late Idris, his brother Bala and their friend Mohammed are said to be young, Hausa boys who she knew in the course of running her joint and who normally helps in bringing big spenders to the joint for a certain percentage. Prior to her death, Susan was said to have had a fallen out with Mohammed over what we couldn't ascertain, on the day she was murdered it was the late Idris that drove her home, she was said to have been at another part of her apartment when she heard the sound of broken bottle, rushing out to investigate what must have happened, the late Idris struck the 1st blow to her neck with the broken bottle and continued stabbing her, while she was shouting at the top of her voice for help, as Wande Coal of the Mo Hits records stays next to her apartment. Still not yet done, Idris was said to have gotten a bread knife to finish off his dastardly act, puncturing Suzy's stomach till some parts of her innards were coming out.
Apparently, a passer-by heard the agonizing cry for help of Susan and heard Wande's name went on to alert Wande, who with others tried rushing to the door to see what was amiss, Idris on hearing the frantic knocks on Susan's door and panicking wanting to escape decided to disappear through the backdoor, he apparently climbed a ledge at the back carefully moving to cross to another flat, so as to take the back to escape, a neighbor who saw a man working on the ledge near her kitchen shouted in fear (she couldn’t understand, why anyone, especially a stranger would be doing acrobatic acts that near her kitchen), this apparently made Idris lose his footing and thereby plunging to his death face ward.

By the time help got to Susan, it was a very gory sight that her rescuers met, stab wound all over her body, her intestines pushing out of her body, but she still held on and was still able to talk, so her rescuers decided to rush her to the hospital, alas! 1004 had no ambulance for emergencies, so they had to quickly get a private car, but while still in the traffic near her 1004 apartment, the strong lady gave up the ghost.

While the family members and friends are still mourning her death, the 1st shocker to come their way was a note from her landlord to her management to vacate the premises of her club with immediate effect, not only that Electricity officials (NEPA) came just a few days ago and cut off the joints electricity supply and in no time, every food items(large quantity at that) bought and kept in their freezers all got spoilt and had to be thrown out, while they were still dealing with that, a part of the club mysteriously caught FIRE!!! Some days ago, fire fighters had to break in through the glass doors at the front to forestall what could have become another major problem.
According to our sources, major investigation is presently going on to find out what could have been the motive behind her murder, a few of Susan's friends are of the opinion she might have been assassinated, why? Many don't know, some are speculating that she's being owed huge amounts and her debtors might not want to pay, some are even claiming that the fire incidence might not be an isolated thing, they are of the thought that the late club owners might have kept some documents, so why not burn the place, all these are just speculations, we are still waiting to find out what the fire fighters think might be the cause of the fire.
2 things have so far been established- she was killed (maybe assassinated, that's for the police to establish), the other fact is that Idris her killer was not her boyfriend (at least according to her friends).

Nigerian asylum seeker set to be sent home from the UK

A Nigerian asylum seeker has said he would ‘prefer dying’ than being deported back to his home country from the UK in two days time. (Which is today)
John Abraham, 25, is currently in Colnbrook Immigration Removal Centre near Heathrow airport, west London and is due to be deported to Nigeria on 8 March.
He told Gay Star News that an article on our site was his last hope to avoid being sent back where he fears he will face persecution and physical attack.
And he asked us to identify him as he said the danger to his safety would be no greater if he was deported – as everyone in his community in Nigeria already knows he is gay.
Abraham said: ‘I left Nigeria in 2008 and came to Britain to study business administration.
‘But while I was here I introduced my boyfriend to my cousin and she told my family. My father is a pastor and my family has abandoned me and now the whole community knows.
‘I would be sent back if I was attacked and persecuted but I also wouldn’t have any life as a gay man. I would prefer dying to going back.’
Abraham said he also had a male partner in Nigeria too, as a 19 to 20-year-old student, but his sexuality was not known by others at that time.
Despite his current partner attending court with him, asylum judges and officials have refused to accept he is gay, Abraham claims.
His case was further complicated by his arrest for ‘handling stolen goods’, which he says was actually an innocent mistake as he was trying to help his friend.
Bisi Alimi, who is Africa director of international LGBT charity Kaleidoscope and from Nigeria himself said that he had met Abraham’s boyfriend and several other friends and believed him to be a genuine gay asylum seeker.
But he said the UK asylum system struggled due to stereotyped understanding of what lesbian and gay people looked like.
Alimi added: ‘There is no framework in this country to allow people to prove their sexuality which is a flaw to the system. If you don’t know what you need to do you stand the chance of losing your case.’
He said that Kaleidoscope hoped to work with the Home Office to improve their policies, procedures and training.
Meanwhile he warned against sending Abraham back to Nigeria, where homosexuality is criminalized.
He said: ‘The situation in Nigeria is really bad. There is very strong, aggressive, hate coming from there. We get reports even now of gay people being the victims of police brutality and being harassed and abused by the community.
Gay people are victims of police brutality in Nigeria? Please stop the drama! I live in Nigeria and have gay friends. I have never in my life witnessed anyone being harassed or physically assaulted for being gay. Except you pass your boundary and start making passes at straight people. Find another excuse, abeg

Dangote, Adenuga remain on Forbes billionaire list

Nigerian business tycoon Aliko Dangote has moved down 25 places on the Forbes list of billionaires for March 2012 claiming the 76th position from 51st he occupied last year.
The downward movement was as a result of a $2.6 billion loss in his fortune from $13.8 billion in 2011 to $11.2 billion in 2012.
He is however still the richest man in Nigeria as the chairperson of Dangote Group which spans food processing, cement manufacturing, and freight.
Mr. Dangote is not the only Nigerian who stayed on the Forbes list.
The fortunes of telecoms billionaire, Mike Adenuga moved from $2 billion in 2011 to $4.3 billion as at March 2012, making him the second richest man in Nigeria.
Mr. Adenuga who was Forbes 597th richest man in 2011 moved up to 595 as at March this year.
Meanwhile Mexican business mogul, Carlos Slim once again topped the annual list of the world’s richest billionaires.
The magazine estimates that Mr. Slim, whose business interests range from telecommunications to construction, is worth $69 billion.
He is followed by Microsoft founder, Bill Gates on $61 billion dollars and US investor Warren Buffett on $44 billion.

Ice Cube, '21 Jump Street' Star, On N.W.A. And The Fight Between George Clooney and David O. Russell

When I was a freshman in high school, I begged my parents to buy me N.W.A's "Straight Outta Compton." At the time, the only other rap album I owned was "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" by D.J. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. The continuous loop of "Parents Just Don't Understand" that played in my bedroom was then replaced by "F-ck tha Police" (played very softly so my parents couldn't hear it, I should add). When Ice Cube was recording those lyrics, as we discuss, he was fairly certain that Midwestern suburban white kids would never get a chance to hear them.

Ice Cube co-stars in the Jonah Hill-Channing Tatum comedy, "21 Jump Street," as Captain Dickson -- a character that owns every stereotype of a fictional police captain, but also realizes that he owns those stereotypes. I chatted with a surprisingly poignant Ice Cube (surprising, in the fact that I wasn't expecting this open and honest of a conversation at a film junket) about his career -- everything from his early days with N.W.A. to Internet rumors about his "Good Day" (which you can read here) to breaking down the now-legendary fight between George Clooney and David O. Russell on the set of "Three Kings."

I like that your character owns every stereotype of a movie police captain.
That's the fun of this whole movie. I mean, even in the part where they tell Channing, "Dude, you look old," all of these are the things that the audience is probably thinking. And by breaking that fourth wall and telling the audience, "Yo, you're in on it with us," I think that's the appeal and the connections.

Before filming, did you re-watch anything like "Beverly Hills Cop"?
I mean, I already knew it. I've seen "Beverly Hills Cop" so many times. And "Starsky & Hutch" [the television series] and all of this stuff. So, I knew this dude. I just knew that he is mad about something. This cat is probably mad that he feels a little demoted: that he has to have his headquarters in a fucking Korean church. You know what I'm saying? And he's dealing with these baby-faced cops. And now he has to deal with these two: Channing and Jonah. He's just mad at the world.

Did you ever watch the TV series?
I used to catch it every now and then because it was a hot show at the time.

It was. And you really didn't know if the future superstar was going to be Johnny Depp or Richard Greico.
Yeah, you really couldn't figure that out. And, you know, Holly Robinson wasn't bad, too. So, I saw it a couple of times and I thought it was a cool premise.

This is a nerdy question, but do the events of this movie take place in the same universe as the original show?
No. [Laughs] No. It's a whole new breed of kids that's going to watch this thing who have never seen "21 Jump Street" and will never have to. This is its own movie, with a borrowed title and a borrowed premise. And that's what you want, because you don't want to hang your hat on 40-year-olds and 30-year-olds to feel nostalgic and go see this movie.

When you wrote "Friday," were you confident that it was going to be as successful as it turned out to be? Switching from music to film?
I was confident that... I was like, "Cool people are going to get this movie," and everybody else was going to be like, "Why did they make that movie?"

Did you ever feel like you were over your head?
Nah. Because I had worked my way to that point through videos, through directing, through writing treatments, through my acting in "Boyz N the Hood." So cameras were all around; I was not intimidated by the thought of jumping into a movie. What I really was thinking was that we're doing something that only a few people are really going to "get." That's kind of where I was. But I know those few people were going to love the shit out of it. I didn't anticipate everybody else kind of loving it -- people that were unfamiliar with that world. And, you know, "Boyz N the Hood" and "Menace II Society" and this other movie called "South Central" kind of showed our neighborhoods kind of in a nightmare scenario. Like, "Oh, shit." But we didn't feel that way growing up. You know, it was just "the neighborhood." So you found a way to laugh at things that most people would cringe at or find unable to live with. That's all that "Friday" is doing: laughing at the crazy shit that goes on in the neighborhood.

On the set of "Three Kings," did you get along with David O. Russell?
Yeah.

Well, after hearing that George Clooney got into a fight with him on set -- or that Mark Wahlberg appears to not want to work with him anymore...
Is that right? Wahlberg and Russell?

Yeah, he's hinted that he doesn't really want to work with him again.
David O. is a demanding director. And he sees it in his head, man. And he want's that exact performance. He's not going to move the camera until he gets it. So, that, to me, the work is to figure out what he wants and give it to him exactly. And to be ready for him to make changes on the fly. While you're acting, he'll yell, "No, no, no, no! Say it this way!"

That's a good impression of him, by the way.
[Laughs] It's nerve-wracking to some actors. And the shit with George was just, you know, I don't think David O. wanted George to be in the movie -- because he was trying to get other actors.

And George Clooney wasn't "George Clooney" yet.
No. And he was never satisfied that his star was George Clooney.

He was still best known as Dr. Ross on "ER" when that was filmed.
Yeah! So, that was the first problem. And it could never come out as he's seen it in his head -- so they would have to work on that all of the time. George Clooney had all of this technical dialogue and medical shit he was talking. Tactics and stuff. Then an extra fucked up this big helicopter scene -- an extra was in the wrong place. And David, all he did was [mimes grabbing a shirt], "Man, come on. Get over here!" That made George go crazy. He's like, "Dude, you can't run in there and fucking put your hand on these extras and push them around, yelling." And David was like, "Man, just worry about your fucking acting." And that's when they went at it. It was like two bulls forehead to forehead.

Did they actually fight?
They didn't actually fight, they just kind of got forehead to forehead and were about to fight. And you could tell that somebody was about to throw a punch, but they just broke it up. So it was kind of yelling and shit, and I'm sitting there, "Damn, is this really happening?"

I was a freshman in high school living in the suburbs of Kansas City when "Straight Outta Compton" was released. Were you surprised how well that album did with people like me? Suburban Midwestern white kids?
Yeah. You know, we thought [pauses]. We didn't think like that, like "suburban kids aren't going to listen to this."

But at the time, I know that was rare in my high school.
Yeah, but I think the Beastie Boys broke all the walls for me -- that white kids were already down without the music from that era. To me, it showed, "OK, this is more than a black thing." So by the time we came out, we thought we were not going to get exposure for other reasons. We thought that the record was just too dirty and raw to get any kind of light. That it would be in the back of the record section, back behind the Eddie Murphy comedy albums and shit. You know what I mean?

Yeah, hidden behind "Raw."
Yeah, in the "dirty" section. So that's where we thought our records were going to be. We had no idea that they were going to actually blow this shit up to the world. And that's kind of what happened. We thought that we were just an underground group.

Did it feel like things changed overnight?
It felt like a big buildup because I had been working and writing with Dre since, like, 1984. And he was in the Wrecking Crew, I was in my own group, we were all trying to make records like Run DMC and get on the radio. And that shit was just selling. I was like, "Man, we're never going to be them. They're already superstars in the game. Let's just do records that our homies like." And that's kind of what we reverted to. Once we decided, "Let's put our dreams on the shelf. Let's just do hip-hop and have fun with it for the people in the neighborhood." That's when it blew. And it was like, "Whoa."

I convinced my parents to buy "Straight Outta Compton" for me on the notion that it was the same thing as D.J. Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince's "He's the D.J., I'm the Rapper." So, personally, I had never heard anything like that before. Other than Beastie Boys. To a point...
Well, Beastie Boys, to me, was the introduction of rap is for everybody. You know, it's not just a black thing. And then from there, when we came out, it was already a foregone conclusion that all types of life listen to rap. All cultures. But we never knew that "Straight Outta Compton" would get promoted enough to blow like it did.

What happened with your version of "Welcome Back Kotter"?
It's not going to happen. I really wanted that movie to go, but it got into development hell with The Weinstein Company, and it just sunk it.

And no plans to do anything along those lines?
There are no plans right now. That would have been good because it would have been a lot different then the show. We were going to neighborhood schools and deal with some real Sweathogs. Some kid that people are scared...

So, not John Travolta.
Nah. These would be kids that people were going to be frightened to teach and frightened to be around. And I was going to be the only teacher that realized that these kids are normal and they're funny. So that, to me, was where we were leaning. That was kind of what the essence of the show was, but we were going to take liberties and make it into something in my neighborhood -- but they just kind of sat on it.

Wow... this is a strong accusation that a lot of Whitney's fans will not take with a pinch of salt.
As strange as it may sound, Whitney Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown is set to claim she got him into drugs.
The 43-year-old rapper is planning to reveal the details of his life with the late singer in a book about Whitney in a follow up to the 2008 tome, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But, written after their divorce in 2007 which contained secrets about their relationship.
A gagging clause meant he could not say everything he wanted to in the first tome, but insiders now believe he is going to "cleanse himself of all responsibility" over his ex-wife's drug use in his forthcoming release following her death last month.
Relationship with Madonna
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Bobby knows people will buy the book, whatever it says. And unlike last time, Whitney is not here to defend herself.
"He's free to say whatever he wants and will undoubtedly paint himself as a grieving saint."
He has previously claimed: "I never used cocaine until after I met Whitney. She used code words when ordering drugs like 'boy' for heroin and 'girl' for cocaine.
"I was using everything I could get my hands on, from cocaine to heroin."
Bobby - who had daughter, Bobbi Kristina Houston, 18, with Whitney - also claims he will divulge details about a previous relationship with Madonna.
He is quoted as saying: ''By the time I brought out my third single I was one of the biggest stars in the world.
"Madonna used to open up shows for New Edition in New York.
"Running into her and getting to know her better at the height of my success was like a reunion."
Whitney confessed to using "rock cocaine" and marijuana during a tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in 2009, it is believed her shock death at the age of 48 was caused by a lethal combination of alcohol and prescription drugs.

29 And 33-Year-Old Nigerians Jailed For Operating 752 Bank Accounts In Uk

When will these young men stop bringing disgrace to our dear country?
As the saying goes : "every day for the thief but just one day for the owner". This is the present situation of a womanising Nigerian fraudster who hijacked the identities of soldiers and nurses in a $1.3 million benefits plot has been jailed in the UK for six years.
Uzoma-Ubani and another Nigerian partner in crime opened 752 bank accounts to perpetrate the fraud.
Chibuikem Uzoma-Ubani, 29, persuaded several lovers to help him launder the profits from the swindle that targeted tax credits and Sure Start maternity grants, reports The Daily Mail. Denisa Camacho, 28, of Godmanchester, Cambridgeshire, and Katrina Papiernikova, 27, of Romford, Essex both had relationships with Uzoma-Ubani, after arriving in the UK from Slovakia and were accused of turning a blind eye to his activities.
Uzoma-Ubani, of Romford, Essex, married Camacho in 2004, then divorced her and had two children by Papiernikova. The women both insisted they knew nothing about his crooked schemes and were both cleared of money laundering, but a third lover Ornela Miguel, 26, admitted the offence. Uzoma-Ubani and fellow Nigerian Leonard Nwannenah, 33, of Dagenham, Essex, opened a 'bewildering' 752 bank accounts using the names of hard-working medics and members of the armed forces over a six-year period.
The pair were jailed Monday for six years each while Miguel was handed a three-month sentence, suspended for 12 months. Nwannenah's younger brother Okechi Nwannenah, 30, of Dagenham and Okechi's wife Jennifer Okonkwo, 29, also allowed their bank accounts to be used to launder the proceeds.
Okechi was conditionally discharged for 18 months while Okonkwo will be sentenced later.Prosecutor Peter Finnigan QC said the gang netted at least £665,000 and would have made $1.3 million had all of the bogus applications for benefit payments been successful. He said: "This case concerns the sophisticated and professional fraud operation which went on for a number of years.
"This was done by targeting the UK's benefit system and by cheque fraud. "They used a bewildering number of post office and bank accounts which numbered in the hundreds. "Some of the accounts were in the names of the fraudsters themselves, some were in the names of others who were willing to help them, and yet others were in the names of identities which had been hijacked by the fraudsters.
"They did not get away with everything they tried because fraudulent applications were weeded out. "In one such instance, a serving member of the army, had his identity hijacked, and not only were cheques diverted to Mr Uzoma-Ubani, but applications for benefits were made in his name, albeit in Uzoma-Ubani's hand writing." The prosecutor added that Uzoma-Ubani had 159 bank accounts, either in his name or an alias, and police seized £200,000 from them. Leonard Nwannenah controlled at least 42 accounts and admitted he had used many more after illegally entering the country.
"The total number of bank accounts was 752, used in the identity frauds," said Mr Finnigan. "Of those 752, 282 and were active accounts in that they received the proceeds of the frauds, and during the course of the investigation over £1 million had passed through them. "The remaining 360 or so accounts were being prepared for future frauds."
Sentencing at The Old Bailey Monday, Judge John Price said: "It was an extremely sophisticated fraud using three different types; intercepting cheques, tax credit fraud, and false maternity grants. "These required several false identities, and false national insurance numbers.
"In some cases they assumed the identity of nurses, falsifying their pin numbers to potentially have taken £1.3 million .

Ja Rule Slapped With Disciplinary Action For Unauthorized Phone Call

Ja Rule may have a new album to promote, but he got a little too carried away with granting interviews requests considering he's currently behind bars.
The Queens rapper, and Mid-State Correctional Facility inmate, was punished by prison officials on Tuesday (March 6) over a radio chat he participated in last week.
A rep for the rapper confirmed to 3m360 that an interview Rule conducted with Renada Romain's Ear Candy Morning Show on Sirius XM Hip Hop Nation (on his birthday, February 29) breached the jail's policies. As a result, the rapper will face punishment for the infraction by way of hard labor for seven days. The mishap, however, won'taffect the former Murder Inc. star's February 2013 release date. The Mid-State Correctional Facility did not respond to XXLmag.com's request for comment as of press time.
Rule is currently serving a two-year sentence for illegal gun possession charges stemming from a 2007 incident where he and Lil Wayne were both busted by the New York Police Department after a concert. While in prison, the rapper has obtained his GED and also began taking college courses.Last month, he released his seventh studio album, Pain Is Love 2.

New Aaliyah Album on Way

A new album of material from the late singer Aaliyah ** may be nearing completion, over a decade after her untimely death in 2001.
On Sunday, Producer Jeffrey "J. Dub" Walker broke the news on his Twitter account (@JDUBAKAGOAT). He wrote: "Just got great news today; the smash unreleased song called 'Steady Ground' I produced on #Aaliyah is gonna be on her upcoming album:)." Walker cowrote "What If" and "I Refuse" for the R&B singer's self-titled 2001 album.
After the tweet, Walker discussed "Steady Ground" with website You Know I Got Soul, offering an explanation for the track's late arrival to fans: "It was really the first single after 'Rock the Boat,' but my engineer was mixing the record and somehow lost the vocals. So the vocals that you hear are really just the demo vocals. The final vocals got erased, so yeah. So that's why it didn't make the album."
However, according to Perez Hilton, Aaliyah's brother, Rashad Haughton, declared on Twitter that no official album was being released. (Haughton has a protected account.)
The last Aaliyah album released with new material was "I Care 4 U" in late 2002, eight months after her death in August 2001. The singer would have turned 33 this past January. Rapper and singer Static Major **, featured on "Steady Ground" and most known for his collaboration with Lil Wayne **, "Lollipop," also passed away early 2008 from a surgery meant to fix an autoimmune-related illness.

Game Announces Next Album Will Be Called F.I.V.E.: Fear Is Victory's Evolution

Game is still riding the wave of his latest album, The R.E.D. Album, as he's getting ready to drop a video for the Kendrick Lamar-assisted "The City." Even so, he's prepping a new mixtape for later this month, and already has his sights set on his next album, which he told mmm360.blogspot.com will be called F.I.V.E.: Fear Is Victory's Evolution.
"The meaning behind that is like--me as a rapper, you as a journalist, Kobe as a basketball player--you gotta be afraid to do something, or have those butterflies in your stomach," he explained about the title. "We all get that feeling. Before you did your first interview, you probably was like, 'Damn, I don't want to ask the wrong questions. I want to do this right.' Me, before I wrote my first rap, or the first time I was in the booth. Fear. But then fear is victory's evolution. After a while, you become a dope journalist, I become a dope rapper, Kobe is Kobe. You achieve and you pass over that fear. Now it ain't fear; it's just victory. It's victory of all."
"I'm gonna always come with a dope concept," he continued. "That's word to my ***** Nas. I'm a huge fan of Nas, now he's like my brother in this **** I'ma always try to keep my albums consistently tied into some kind of concept."
In addition to the meaning of the acronym, the title also represents the number album this is for Game, being the rapper's fifth solo album. As such, he will fulfill his contractual obligations to Interscope. Whether or not he re-ups and remains there, or heads to a different label, however, is still up in the air.
"Jimmy Iovine is, **** probably weeks out from opening the budget for my fifth album," the Compton native said. "And then once I do this F.I.V.E. album, it might be a wrap. We'll see. I know somebody going to give me some millions before I do anything. I see myself getting a lot of money to carry out the remaining time in my career. It don't really matter where it's at--it's just the imprint on the back of the album."
Even with a title and the budget potentially opening up, Game--whose The R.E.D. Album was delayed a number of times over multiple years--was less than eager to suggest a possible release date.
"I'm just hoping that I live another day to record," he said. "I'm not giving nobody no dates. **** all that. It's gonna come out when it come out. See y'all then."
