Lil Kim Talks Upcoming Singles and Documentary, Maino Rumors

Calling into Chicago's The Morning Riot Show Tuesday morning (April 10), Lil Kim opened up about an array of topics from her rumored relationship with Maino to her upcoming music plans to the status of her "beef" with Remy Ma.

Having released a collaboration with Young Jeezy entitled "Keys To The City" in March, Kim revealed that there are more singles on the way. "We're going to throw out a few singles first so we can get everybody familiar with my new sound," she added.

Kim revealed other ventures as well, including an upcoming documentary and her publishing deal with St. Martin's press. Her book will detail her yearlong prison bid in 2005, which stemmed from lying to a grand jury about a friend's involvement in a 2001 Manhattan shooting.

When asked by host Tony Sculfield about being linked romantically to fellow Brooklynite Maino, the Queen Bee laughed, before deflecting with, "I plead the fifth. Ask him that when you talk to him." Rumors about the on-and-off couple first surfaced when Maino released a track entitled "I Still Love You," back in January.

Kim also addressed the recent trend of female emcees going to prison and despite their history of quarreling, she extended somewhat of an olive branch to incarcerated rapper, Remy Ma. "At this moment right now, anybody in prison, my heart goes out to them," she shared. "If Remy was like, "Yo, I need something..." I'm the type of person that would reach out and help her and when she comes home we don't have to speak."

But this empathic mood didn't extend to all of Kim's beefs. When asked if she had been in touch with Voletta Wallace, the mother of the Notorious B.I.G.. Kim vehemently responded, "Absolutely not. I have absolutely no relations with that woman at all." This originated from the 2009 biographical film Notorious, in which Kim took offense to the way that she was portrayed.
