Blessing Okagbare wins Gold in Women's 100m final in Glasgow

Sprinter Blessing Okagbare just won Gold in the Women's 100m for Nigeria in the Commonwealth Games. She won in a time of 10.85 seconds in a new Games record, making her the second fastest woman of all time in World 100 metres. She beat Jamaica’s Veronica Campbell-Brown, Kerron Stewart and England’s Asha Phillip who came second, third and fourth respectively.

Blessing becomes the first Nigerian winner of this title since Mary Onyali back in 1994. You go Blessing!

Emmanuel Adebayo Splurges £10,000 On Moisturizers, Including £5000 Gold Mask with 24-carat flakes of GOLD

While the average person still dreams of a white Christmas, Tottenham forward Emmanuel Adebayor is already enjoying a gold Christmas. Literally.
The Togolese born player recently splurged about £10,000(2.5million) at the Oro Gold store on skin care products laced with 24-carat flakes of GOLD. The products include a golden anti-ageing face mask that costs  £5,000.
A source said: “Emmanuel was sold hook, line and sinker on the stock. An assistant sat him down and gave him demonstrations of all the creams and he lapped it up, walking away with a stash of face creams and anti-wrinkle serums and promising he’d be back again.”
I guess earning about £50,000 per week could result in all sorta weird purchases.
