A 13-YEAR-OLD girl murdered her pregnant sister and hacked her womb open before giving her baby to a child snatcher, cops in Brazil have claimed.
Fabiana Santana, 23, was eight months pregnant when she was reportedly bludgeoned to death with a metal pole by the teenager.
She allegedly lured her to her death before drowning her seven-year-old nephew Gustavo, after he fought to save his mother's life.
The adolescent is accused of carrying out the barbaric crimes with the help of a 15-year-old boy.
'CHILD SNATCHER PLOT'
He is said to be the son of Catia Rabelo, named by police as the 35-year-old woman charged with masterminding the ruthless plan in a bid to keep the baby for herself.
She was arrested by cops on Wednesday after going on the run and has allegedly confessed to inciting the teenagers to commit the brutal killings.
Police found the newborn boy alive and in the care of the teenage accomplice at his family's home in Porto Velho, north Brazil.
His mother, who was not present when the two were killed, had already fled the scene.
The infant, weighing 3.9lbs (1.8kg) is currently under observation at Porto Base Old Hospital and is reported to be in good health despite his violent birth.
BLUDGEONED TO DEATH
The expectant mother and her son were reported missing by relatives after they failed to return on an evening out on October 18 with the teenage suspects.
Mrs Santana body was found buried in a shallow grave on a vacant plot of land in Porto Velho three days later.
She had been bludgeoned around the head with an iron bar, leaving her face disfigured and stabbed to death.
An autopsy report released on Friday suggests she may have been alive when her baby was cut from her womb with a knife.

Her young son was found floating in a man-made lake, less than 100 metres from where his mother was buried.
Investigators are also trying to substantiate allegations made by the adolescent girl against her deceased sister and a family member.
Police chief, Leisaloma Carvalho said: “The girl made a separate claim that she committed the crimes out of revenge because she was sexually abused by her sister’s husband and ill-treated by Fabiana who didn’t believe her stories.”
'PREMEDITATED'
The inspector revealed that under questioning the school child showed no remorse and appeared cold and emotionless.
She said: “This is a crime that has shocked even the most seasoned police officers because there is evidence it was premeditated.
“The teenage suspect has admitted to killing her sister and her seven year old nephew. And told us that she threw Gustavo, who couldn’t swim, into the nearby lake then stoned him until he drowned.”
