Step 1: For this easy home remedy, you’ll need to gather two tablespoons of turmeric, a finger-sized chunk of ginger root, one medium onion, one and three-quarter cups of sugar, and a liter of water.

Step 2: Add the water and sugar to a large pot, stir the ingredients until they’re well blended, and bring the mixture to a boil.

Step 3: While the sugar water is coming a boil, chop the onion and ginger root, and when the water is boiling, add them to the mix.

Step 4: Then, add two tablespoons of turmeric and lower the heat.

Step 5: Let the mixture simmer until the volume is reduced by half.

Step 6: Transfer the concoction to a container and refrigerate it.

Step 7: Take two tablespoons of the solution each morning on an empty stomach and two at night right before bed. Within just a few days, you should notice your lungs feeling clearer
