James DeGale loses his front tooth in thrilling draw with Badou Jack in New York
will return to London with his world title - but without his front tooth.
The Brit battled to a draw with fellow world champion
in New York on Saturday night.
But he will need surgery to repair his mouth after his gumshield repeatedly fell out.
At one point, DeGale was without it for more than a minute until the referee could take advantage of a break in the action.
And the 30-year-old showed the TV cameras his missing teeth in his post-fight interview.
He was later taken to hospital and did not appear at the post-fight press conference.

The IBF super-middleweight champion made a bright start against Jack, knocking him down in the first round.
But he slowed during the middle stages of the fight and despite a strong finish, was knocked down in the final session.
That proved costly as two judges scored the fight a draw with the other giving DeGale the nod.
