Mesut Ozil was left emotional as he received a host of video messages from teammates past and present wishing him a happy birthday.
The German turned 28 on Saturday and celebrated by scoring what turned out to be the decisive goal in Arsenal's 3-2 win over Swansea.
And Ozil was given a surprise present after the match when he was shown a video comprised of kind messages from a host of world-class footballers from around Europe.
Xabi Alonso, Luka Modric and Sergio Ramos, who played alongside Ozil at Real Madrid, all sent their well wishes to the playmaker, as did a host of his colleagues at Arsenal.
The likes of Jerome Boateng, Lukas Podolski, Ilkay Gundogan and Granit Xhaka also featured in the video.
Olivier Giroud's message was perhaps the shortest of the lot, as the French striker raised his eyebrow before saying: "Bon anniversair mon gar," which translates to: "Happy birthday my boy".
Ozil's reaction was filmed as he watched the video and he was clearly touched by the gesture, frequently smiling and bursting into laughter.
