Kim Kardashian has been held up at gunpoint in Paris.
The reality star was threatened by two armed masked me dressed as police officers.
Her spokesperson said she is "badly shaken but physically unharmed".
The incident is believed to have happened in the early hours of Monday.
Kardashian's superstar husband Kanye West was performing a gig almost 6,000 miles away in New York, but suddenly walked off stage stating he had a "family emergency".
The rapper was performing at the Meadows Festival in Queens.
Kim Kardashian's spokesperson Ina Treciokas said: "Kim Kardashian West was held up at gunpoint inside her Paris hotel room this evening, by two armed masked men dressed as police officers.
"She is badly shaken but physically unharmed."
Kim has been enjoying in France enjoying Paris Fashion Week with older sister Kourtney and mum Kim and has been spotted front row at runways shows including Balenciaga, Givenchy and Balmain.
West was mid-way a performance of his song 'Heartless' when he stopped abruptly, fans said.
Organisers of the festival later tweeted: "Due to an emergency, Kanye West had to end his performance early. Please get home safely."
Footage posted online by fan Mike Kravchenko showed fans singing along with Kanye before the music suddenly cut out.
The rapper, 39, appeared to say "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I have an emergency..." before the video stopped.
Another fan who was at the show, Stephen Dacres described the scene.
He tweeted: "Kanye's assistant pulled him to the side of the stage then Ye got on the mic saying he had a family emergency then stopped the show #Meadows."
Another witness Joe Berg wrote: "Dude just ran on stage and grabbed Kanye and he said, 'Sorry guys, family emergency I have to leave the show' and just ran off the stage.
"It was wild, too, because Kanye ignored the dude at first like on some 'I can't leave' and dude wouldn't leave without Kanye leaving with him.
