Horrific CCTV shows hit-and-run car smash in east London that left a woman, 50, and two children badly injured

The car hits three of the group, who are thrown into the air. Two others manage to escape before the impact






This horrific CCTV footage shows a hit-and-run driver ploughing into a woman and two children crossing a London road. 
The small hatchback careered into the group of five people walking across Central Park Road in East Ham, throwing three of them into the air.
The 50-year-old woman, 12-year-old boy and 11-year-old girl were left badly injured, while the driver stopped on the pavement and callously ran away with a passenger.

Two of the pedestrians managed to move away before the car struck around 3pm on Thursday, October 27. 
Police are searching for the driver and passenger, who are both men. No arrests have been made.


Paramedics took the crash victims to hospital, but their injuries were not life threatening. 
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: 'Police were called at approximately 14:55hrs on Thursday, 27 October to reports of car in collision with three pedestrians in Central Park Road, E6.

'Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the three pedestrians - a woman aged in her 50s and two children, a boy, 12, and a girl, 11 - were taken to hospital for treatment.
'No arrests have been made an enquiries are continuing.' 
Police have asked for anyone with information to call 101.
