The Walking Dead may be known for forcing its characters to attend a lot of funerals… but we're happy to say the show is now responsible for at least one wedding!
No, Glenn and Maggie didn't officially have a service off-camera — in actuality, a professional football player just tied the knot with a zombie-themed ceremony.
Pittsburgh Steelers running back DeAngelo Williams and his new bride,Risalyn Williams, ran down the aisle over the weekend surrounded by zombified versions of their bridal party!
Apparently, the NFLer is a big fan of the AMC drama and originally wanted to do zombie-themed engagement photos, but since he was in the middle of his sports season a few months ago, DeAngelo and Risalyn decided to save the horror for their actual wedding day.
But if your invitation somehow got lost in the mail… De teamed up with ESPN to document the entire thing, and even gushed to the sports outlet about the big day, saying:
"It is a dream come true! What makes it even more magical is not only did I become a walker, I became a husband."
That's the cutest thing we've heard all day!
