He's been dubbed the "Trump of the East" by John Oliver on Last Week Tonightand it appears that Philippines' president-elect Rodrigo Duterte is living up to that title in at least one regard: Saying what's really on his mind, even if what's on his mind is some really wild shit.
During a nationally televised speech on Sunday night, Duterte flat out encouraged people to pitch to help fight his country's crime problem by shootin' some people. Duterte said he plans to offer bounties to citizens who turn in drug dealers, even if they kill them first.

Here's what he said, via The Associated Press:
"Please feel free to call us, the police, or do it yourself if you have the gun -- you have my support," Duterte said, warning of an extensive illegal drug trade that involves even the country's police.
If a drug dealer resists arrest or refuses to be brought to a police station and threatens a citizen with a gun or a knife, "you can kill him," Duterte said. "Shoot him and I'll give you a medal."
And if you have a drug problem, you might want to avoid this dude also. Duterte reportedly said that he does not believe addicts can be rehabbed. Via Al-Jazeera:
"... if you are involved in drugs, I will kill you. You son of a whore, I will really kill you".
Duterte will be sworn in as the new president of the Philippines on June 30. He was elected after he caved in and apologized for making a joke about the 1989 gang rape of an Australian missionary, joking that she was "so beautiful" he "should have been first."
