Travis Barker has opened up about surviving the deadly plane crash that claimed four people's lives.
The horrific incident occurred in September 2008 when the Blink 182 drummer was flying to California.
While the jet was taking off in South Carolina, a tyre burst, causing the plane to collide with the embankment at the airport.
Four people were killed, including the two pilots, Travis' security guard and the musician's assistant.
Managing to escape the wreckage along with late-friend DJ AM, the rocker was left with severe burns over 65 per cent of his body.
Now - talking about the difficult recovery process - Travis admits that he offered cash to his pals to take his life.
He told ABC News: "I mean, [medical officials] had to take my phone out of my room because I was making these phone calls. I would call friends of mine and go, ‘You know, I’ll deposit a million dollars into whoever’s bank account. Like, I’m done.’"
Travis would spend four months in burn centres while undergoing a total of 27 surgeries.
The 39-year-old recalls that even though he was severely injured, he was just moments away from being caught in the devastating explosion.
He explained: "The plane's on fire and my hands are on fire so I unbuckle my seat belt and I jump right into the jet, which holds all the fuel. I basically ignite my whole body in fire.
"I'm so soaked in jet fuel, there's nothing I can do to put the fire out.
"I'm completely nude at this point...I'm running, grabbing my testicles, my genitals, because, I don't know why, and then we realise, you know, we're out of the plane and... the plane explodes."
Travis, who's been romantically linked with Rita Ora , bravely reflects further about the incident in his new memoir, titled Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums.
